Canon Rath talked with Jodi Sonneman from People's Family Health Services and discussed the WIC and Family Planning Program.
NORTH PLATTE, NEB – The People's Family Health Services are committed to helping families have better outcomes in health and are committed to helping their safeguard for their wellbeing in the future. The WIC program offers to help families by supplying healthy foods, nutrition education, and referrals to other health agencies. “WIC is provided by the USDA and they help everybody that is lower income to have healthy foods so that everyone can be the healthiest they can be,” said Jodi Sonneman. “We do provide monthly benefits for healthy foods; we can help you learn about nutrition and what good foods to feed your kiddos and what to avoid.”
