GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) — Police in Grand Island are investigating after a homeless man was found dead Tuesday with a stab wound at an area apartment complex. 

Police say in a news release that officers were sent to the complex around 6 a.m. Tuesday for reports of an injured person. 

Arriving officers found the victim — a 30-year-old man — dead from an apparent puncture wound. Police have not released the man's name and have not announced any suspects or arrests. 

Police urged anyone with information about the killing to contact detectives.
