FREMONT, Neb.-Authorities said a Fremont teen died after a motorcycle crash on Sunday.
Fremont police said at around 4:16 a.m., officers responded to a one-vehicle motorcycle accident near 10th St. and Clarmar Ave.
Officers arrived and found Emmitt Harmel, 18, seriously injured and not breathing. Officers immediately administered CPR until emergency medical personnel arrived.
Police said Harmel was transported to Methodist Fremont Health, where he later died.
Police said a preliminary investigation shows Harmel was traveling south on Clarmar Ave. when he lost control and left the roadway.
The accident remains under investigation with the assistance of the Nebraska State Patrol.
