BENNINGTON, Neb.-Authorities said three people were injured in a boating accident on Bennington Lake.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said at around 11:13 a.m. on July 25, deputies along with Bennington Fire and Rescue and Omaha Fire and Rescue responded to Newport Landing, 176th St. and Island Cir., at Bennington Lake.
Authorities said the reporting party said an inflatable being towed by a boat had struck a sea wall near a bridge.
Deputies arrived and found the inflatable as well as three injured individuals. They were identified as Wyatt Moore, 47, Anne Moore, 8, both of Flower Mound, Texas, and Katelyn Dossett, 15, of Bennington.
All three were transported to Nebraska Medicine with critical injuries. Their conditions at this time are unknown.
Authorities said alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the accident which remains under investigation.
