NORTH PLATTE, NEB - The planned overnight closure of Leota Street between Dewey and Jeffers back on July 6 that was postponed due to weather, has been rescheduled for tonight.
The eastbound and westbound lanes of Leota will be closed beginning at 8:00 p.m., tonight and are anticipated to be open by 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Motorists are advised to use Francis Street during this time-period or an alternate route.
Paulsen Inc. of Cozad is the contractor for this project. The overnight closure will be for installation of storm sewer pipe underneath Leota Street.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, reduce speeds, to buckle up, and to put phones away.
