North Platte's Don Kurre joined Derek Beck to visit about the upcoming Music On The Bricks which will hit North Platte's Canteen District on Friday and Saturday, April 30 and May 1, 2021.

The annual Music on the Bricks festival returns this spring, with musicians performing in North Platte’s newly renovated downtown on Friday and Saturday evenings, April 30 & May 1.
The festival features country music, easy listening, rhythm and blues, classic and progressive rock, and is sponsored by hometown businesses, including the leading sponsor, Kwik Stop.
The Platinum Pearls as well as Kim Baxter w/ Fred Schlickbernd on percussion will perform from 7:30-10 p.m. indoors at the Espresso Shop on Friday night, April 30. Seating is limited, so advance tickets are advised from the Espresso Shop.
On Saturday afternoon and evening, Top Shelf Country, Jack Bunger and the Prose, and Straw Bone will also perform outdoors on the street from 4-10 p.m. Country and easy listening bands play from 4-7:30 p.m. The rock part of the show is from 7:30-10 p.m. Each band will play for an hour or so.
There will be games, arts, crafts, food, dancing and brews.
Admission is just $5 per night.

• Straw Bone – 9 p.m. (Kenny Odean, Brandon Baxter, Malachi Carter & Brad Mattson)
