Omaha man accused of enticing children

OMAHA, Neb.-An Omaha man has been arrested on allegations of criminal enticement of children.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office said information was received on Aug. 20 about suspicious activity in the area of 17oth St. and Hawthorne Plaza.

It was reported that a male subject had been attempting to entice children since January.

Deputies identified the suspect as Alden Zahm, 26.

On Aug. 24, officials said surveillance efforts led deputies to make contact with Zahm in the area of the reported activity.

Deputies interviewed Zahm, then placed him under arrest.

Deputies did not release any further details due to the age of the alleged victims.

Authorities said they do not believe there are any additional victims at this time.
