Sheriff: Suspect attempted to meet minor for sex

OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. – Law enforcement authorities conducting an investigation of the online solicitation of a child by an adult have made an arrest.

On April 15, Osage County Sheriff’s Office’s Criminal Investigation Unit (CIU) took a Missouri man into custody who had made plans to meet with someone he believed to be a minor, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.

Deputies transported David E. Fresia, 49, of Lees Summit, MO,  to the Osage County Jail Facility on requested charges of aggravated human trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation of a child, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of psilocybin with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp.
