LINCOLN, Neb.-Police in Lincoln said they have made an arrest in connection to a bank robbery.
Police said on July 6 at around 12:15 p.m., officers responded to a holdup alarm at US Bank, 2640 Ticonderoga Blvd.
Police said bank employees reported that a man had entered the bank and stated that he wanted to make a withdrawal. He then allegedly handed the teller a note demanding money.
Police said the man was given an undisclosed amount of cash before he left the bank.
Through follow-up investigation, police said they identified the suspect as Michael McNeil, 29, of Lincoln.
On Saturday, at around 6:50 p.m., officers contacted McNeil in a traffic stop near 27th St. and Cornhusker Highway.
McNeil was arrested without incident and jailed at the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of robbery, a Class II felony.
