
HEDVILLE — Law enforcement authorities are investigation two suspects from Minnesota after they allegedly attempted to steal car ramps from a rural Saline County residence.
On Saturday, deputies were sent to the 100 block of West Pennsylvania Street in Hedville, an unincorported community in northern Saline County, for the report of attempted theft. A witness reported that two people in a gray pickup had attempted to steal car ramps, but left the area before taking the ramps, according to Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan.
Deputies located the pickup on North Hedville Road near Interstate 70 with two occupants, Dennis Murray, 38, Mankato, Minnesota and Amber Jacobsen, 35, Eagle Park, Minnesota.
The pickup, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado valued at $10,000, was taken for a test drive several days prior and never returned to HG Auto in South Sioux City, Nebraska, according to Soldan.
Deputies also found methamphetamine in the pickup.
Deputies arrested Murray on requested charges of Possession of stolen property, Possession of methamphetamine, Driving while suspended and Attempted theft.

Deputies arrested Jacobsen on requested charges that included Possession of stolen property, Possession of methamphetamine and Driving while suspended.
The suspects will face additional charges in Nebraska.
