Post News Director Canon Rath chatted with Jeff Storie aka "Scrappy" the Vice President of the Guardians of the Children - FlatRock Chapter, about the 10th Annual "Caller" Chili/Soup & Rib/Meat Cookoff & Silent Auction event that's going on February 3rd in North Platte.
NORTH PLATTE - The Guardians of the Children - FlatRock Chapter is gearing up for their 10th Annual "Caller" Chili/Soup & Rib/Meat Cookoff & Silent Auction event Saturday, February 3rd at the D & N Event Center in North Platte. The event runs from 11am - 2pm. All proceeds from the fundraiser event will be used to further the mission of the Guardians of the Children - FlatRock Chapter.
Tickets to get into the event are $5, which allows you to try all the food. The Lil Guardians will be selling drinks and cinnamon rolls for their fundraiser during the event. Prize money is up on the lines for participants as it is community voting.
Chili/Soup:
1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $75
3rd Place - $50
Rib/Meat 1st Place - $100
Best decorated booth/table - $50
