SUTTON, Neb.-Officials are investigating after a deck collapsed during a party in Clay County.
Hastings television station KSNB reported that calls to the Clay County 911 Center began at around 12:02 a.m. on Monday. Reports indicated that a deck at a home in Sutton had collapsed and multiple people were injured.
Area law enforcement authorities and first responders cleared debris and 11 people were transported to area hospitals via ambulance. Numerous others were transported by private vehicles.
Some injuries were serious.
KSNB said the home was new construction and the deck was off the second story.
The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office will investigate the accident.
