Kearney, Neb. - The Kearney Police Department releases post statistics following the 2024 Cruise Night event which brings people from all over the state to show off vehicles.

There were 196 calls for service between 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, through 6:00 a.m. on&nbsp; Sunday, July 21. KPD investigated 7 traffic accidents (1 injury) and performed 71 traffic stops during this time.&nbsp; These numbers only reflect statistics from the Kearney Police Department.&nbsp;&nbsp;

A summary of the weekend activity related to the event includes:&nbsp;

• 39 Written Warnings and 22 Uniform Traffic Citations&nbsp;
