EducationQuest awards scholarships to 3 Nebraska students

Three high school students from across Nebraska have been awarded $500 scholarships for participating in EducationQuest’s fall 2021 Virtual College Fairs.

Recipients are listed below alphabetically by hometown.

  *   Elkhorn: Madelyn Schuchardt, a junior at Elkhorn South High School
  *   Hartington: Jack Stevens, a junior at Cedar Catholic High School
  *   Sterling: Ella Wingert, a senior at Sterling High School

Students will have another opportunity to win one of three $500 scholarships during EducationQuest’s spring Virtual College Fair, which is set for Tuesday, March 1. Registration for the event opens Tuesday, Feb. 22 at eqf.org/collegefair.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:

  *   U.S. citizen or legal resident
  *   Nebraska resident
  *   Attend a Nebraska high school and be in grades 9-12
  *   Visit at least 5 college booths at an EducationQuest Virtual College Fair
