
JERUSALEM —U.S. warships faced terrorist additional threats in and adjacent to the Red Sea over the past three days.
Just after 3:30a.m. Sunday, U.S. forces successfully destroyed one uncrewed aerial system or drone launched by Iranian-backed Houthis over the Gulf of Aden from Houthi controlled areas in Yemen, according to the U.S. Central Command.
Just before 4:45 a.m. Saturday, U.S. forces successfully destroyed three drones launched by Iranian-backed Houthis over the Red Sea from Houthi controlled areas in Yemen.
At approximately 8:45 p.m. Friday, the terrorists launched a drone over the Gulf of Aden. A coalition aircraft successfully engaged the UAS.
There were no injuries or damages reported by U.S., coalition, or merchant vessels from these attacks.
