
BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple charges after a 2-state chase.
Early Monday, Richardson County Nebraska deputies engaged in a vehicle pursuit. Speeds reached over 100 mile per hour and continued into Brown County Kansas, according to a media release.
Brown County Deputies, were able to spike the driver's front tire successfully. Once the vehicle finally came to a stop, and the driver identified as 33-year-old Nathan Wagner of Ashland, Nebraska was taken into custody.
Deputies learned the vehicle had been stolen out of Lincoln, Nebraska, on June 1. Wagner had multiple warrants for his arrest and was booked into the Brown County jail on requested charges of theft, driving while license cancelled/ revoked and reckless driving, according to online jail records.
Wagner will be extradited back to Nebraska, where he will face additional requested charges of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, Flight to Avoid Arrest, Willful Reckless Driving, Driving Revoked, Driving Left of Center, Fail to use Turn Signal, Defective Vehicle Lighting, Speeding and and Fictitious Plates, according to the sheriff's office.
