JULY 26, 2023 (NORFOLK, NEB.) — Nebraska State Patrol investigators have conducted alcohol compliance checks in several northeast Nebraska counties. This operation included businesses in Antelope, Boyd, Holt, Knox, and Pierce Counties.
The checks occurred on three dates, including July 25, July 17, and March 17. In total, 73 businesses were checked. Four of those businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 95 percent.
The businesses that failed the inspections were:
Elgin One Stop – Elgin
Double K Bar – Lynch
Pierce Community Golf Course – Pierce
Main Street Alley – Osmond
Businesses that fail the alcohol compliance checks are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
