GRAND ISLAND, Neb.-A Grand Island man has been arrested on domestic violence allegations following an incident on Monday morning.
At around 3:00 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of North Wheeler, an apartment complex.
Officers met with a female who reported being assaulted by Augustine Trejo. Police said the woman and Trejo have a child in common.
The woman told officers that she and Trejo had gotten into an argument. During the argument, she said Trejo threw a phone at her, striking and injuring her. He then allegedly produced a handgun and held it to her head.
Police said a neighbor heard the incident and saw Trejo with what she believed was a handgun.

Police said Trejo has a previous conviction for domestic violence in 2013.
