Post News Director Canon Rath chatted with Geoff Exstrom who is the Director of Communications and Media Relations for the Omaha Supernovas, a brand-new professional volleyball team. Exstrom talks about his role with the team, training camp, season opener and more. 

NORTH PLATTE - Nebraska's newest volleyball team, the Omaha Supernovas, are getting ready to kick off their inaugural season on January 24th, when they welcome the Atlanta Vibe to CHI. First serve is scheduled for 7:00pm. The team, which has many Nebraskans excited from border to border, is loaded with high quality players.

One player on the training camp roster is D2 UNK former All-American setter and Kearney native Maddie Squiers has been turning heads during her time at camp. She was invited to the mini camp and then extended an invitation to the main training camp.
