BENNINGTON, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say two people have died in a two-vehicle crash near Bennington, north of Omaha. 

Television station KETV reports the crash happened Thursday morning on Highway 36. 

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says the crash closed a section of the highway for at least two hours. 

Officials have not released the names of those killed or given details about how the crash occurred.
