GRAND ISLAND, Neb.-Organizers of the Hall County Fair at Grand Island's Fonner Park have announced a new twist to their entertainment package in the form of nationally-televised boxing bouts.
Showtime Television Network has announced that it will bring its Showbox 20th Anniversary fights to the Heartland Events Center in Grand Island to be featured as part of the 2021 Hall County Fair Entertainment lineup.
Nationally televised boxing will feature two of the nation's top super middleweight prospects as undefeated Isaiah Steen takes on fellow undefeated fighter Kalvin Henderson.
The Worlds Top Undefeated Welterweight prospect Janelson Bocachica takes on Shinard Bunch.
Also featured on the world class bare is undefeated featherweights meeting for the fight of their lives, 10-0 Martino Jules vs 10-0 Aram Avagyan.
In addition to four televised bouts, there will be multiple undercard fights including 2016 Olympic Bronze Medalist Niko Hernandez.
The event will take place on July 23, with tickets on sale beginning July 1 at 10 a.m. Special family 4-pack rates will be available for the first two days. They are available at Etix.com or the Heartland Events Center Box office.
