Scottsbluff Police Department
Scottsbluff, Nebraska-On Saturday November 18th, 2023 at 10:06 PM Scottsbluff Police Department responded to the 1300 block of 14th Ave to investigate a traffic accident. Investigation revealed that Fredrick Evans, age 55 of Scottsbluff, was south bound on 14TH Ave from East 15TH Street driving in a black 2009 GMC pickup. The vehicle crossed over to the left side of the road and struck a red 2012 GMC pickup.
The collision caused the black pickup to roll over ¼ times onto its right side. Evans was not wearing a seat belt. Police are investigating health conditions and alcohol use as protentional contributing factors. Scottsbluff Police Department was assisted on scene by Scottsbluff Fire Department, Valley Ambulance Service, and Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Deputies.
