Lana Lucille (Stotts) Tucker Myers, 69, of Broken Bow, NE, died on December 2, 2022, at Emerald Nursing Home in Cozad, NE.

Lana was born to John and Carol Stotts in Denver, CO, on August 9, 1953.&nbsp; She moved with her parents and older sister to Nebraska at the age of two.&nbsp; She married Wayne Tucker on November 7, 1971.&nbsp; They had four children:&nbsp; Shannon (Tucker) Ryan, Wayne Tucker Jr., Lisa Tucker, and Andrea (Tucker) Kagay. Lana was gifted in many ways.&nbsp; She played the piano by ear, loved to cook, and made it a tradition to sew matching dresses for her daughters for special occasions.&nbsp; During her children’s school years, she often played the piano for their school programs.&nbsp; Once her children were grown, she took up the game of golf and thoroughly enjoyed it.&nbsp; Lana loved being a grandma, and all her grandchildren lovingly referred to her as Nana. Lana married Rex Myers on December 12, 1997.&nbsp; Rex had one child from a previous marriage, Cassie (Myers) West. Lana held many jobs in her lifetime and two that were important to her included working at the Central Nebraska Commission Company and the Broken Bow Animal Hospital.&nbsp; However, her favorite job was playing piano at the Alley Rose in Kearney, as well as playing for weddings and other special occasions.

&nbsp;At the age of 95, Dorland "Bill" Olson of North Platte, NE, passed away on December 6, 2022. Dorland was born May 9, 1927, in Aurora, NE, to Einer and Minnie Olson. He spent his adolescent years in Marquette where he graduated from high school. Bill went on to play basketball at Grand Island Business College and worked at the local YMCA before earning his college degree. Upon graduation, Bill became employed as an accountant by various businesses across Nebraska. Bill was drafted into World War II and stationed in Fort Lewis, WA.&nbsp; He was a Private in the U.S. Army before contracting diphtheria. As a result, he was deployed back into the U.S. until he recovered. On Christmas Eve of 1955, Bill married Mildred Epler in Grand Island. Shortly after, they made the decision to move to Long Beach, CA, for a short period of time. The couple then decided to make their home back in North Platte. Bill was employed by Central Nebraska Packing as an office manager until retiring. However, Bill continued working as an accountant and bookkeeper for local businesses well into his nineties. Bill was a member of First Assembly of God Church and P.R. Halligan Post #163 American Legion. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a regular at garage sales and auctions, always looking for antiques. Bill had a great faith in God. He regularly enjoyed black coffee, old-fashioned sour cream donuts, and peanut clusters. He loved his family very much and they loved him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; son, Bob Epler; sons-in-law, Chuck Johnson and Vic Janecek; his parents, Einer and Minnie; and sisters, Joyce Harris, Muriel Amick, Blossom Olson and Athens Crawford. Bill is survived by his children, Linda Janecek, Diane Johnson and Jeff Olson, all of North Platte; daughters-in-law, Betty Olson of Lincoln and Michelle Epler of North Platte; his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews and other family. Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Odean Colonial Chapel with Pastor Gary Goodwin officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Ft. Bill Olson (1927-2022)

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dorothy Alice Sheets was born August 24,1936, at her Blixt Grandparents' farm southwest of Arnold, arriving before the doctor did. She stepped into eternity on December 6, 2022, at the home of Irving &amp; Melody Jennings. She was the youngest of three children born to Wiley and Mae (Blixt) Sheets, joining older brother David and sister Marjorie. Dorothy always said she had “the best big brother and sister in the world” and meant it. The three of them were always extremely close and loyal to one another. &nbsp; &nbsp; The first years of her life, the Sheets family lived 13 miles north of Brewster.&nbsp; On Dorothy's 4th birthday, Mae and children moved to Callaway where Dorothy grew up. Although times were hard, she had lots of memories of a happy childhood. No matter where they lived, David always made a playhouse for the girls using whatever materials were at hand. Marjorie and Dorothy learned to sing at an early age, accompanied by their mother. They walked wherever they were going and sang as they walked. Marge and Dorothy sang in some talent shows and, on the radio, and all this began a life-long love of music for Dorothy. She couldn't wait to be old enough to sing in the church choir and enjoyed using her voice in many different venues, doing programs of all kinds as well as singing for weddings and funerals. Her beautiful voice was a blessing! She wanted it to bring praise to God, and we believe she accomplished that goal. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Another great love for Dorothy was babies and she asked for a doll every year for Christmas. When she was 10 years old, she gained a new baby brother when Roger was born to Ralph and Mae Morrison. She thought he was her very own personal, live baby doll to play with and she loved him fiercely. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Age 12 was a big year for Dorothy: she accepted Christ as her personal Savior at Bible camp that summer, her Mom told her she had to ask for something other than a doll for Christmas, and she got her first job. She wanted fabric to make a new skirt, so she went to the café and asked for a job and was hired. Then she went home and told her Mom she had a job! That was the beginning of her working life, and she had many different jobs through the years, always a dedicated and hard worker. Her favorite job was working for Terry and Dena at Mills Hardware. She loved them and enjoyed helping people. She was always grateful for that job and until the last week of her life she kept saying she had to “get up and get to work.” &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Also, during her childhood, she gained siblings Kenneth, Darrel and Jeane Sheets born to Wiley and Hazel (Flyr) Sheets.&nbsp; Family was important to Dorothy, and she became the glue that bonded the two sets of siblings together in adulthood as well as holding the big, extended family together. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Dorothy graduated from Callaway High School in 1953 at age 16. She went to Kearney to get her teaching certificate and rode the “motor” (train) home on Friday nights so she could be home for the weekend.&nbsp; She completed that training and taught at Stop Table Country School for one year. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;February 27,1955, she married Otis Wesley Larreau of Arnold. They had four children: Dennis, Melody, Gary, and Mark. Wes and Dorothy spent many years building their Wes n Dot Dairy farm and award-winning herd of registered Holsteins. It was important to her to do the very best she could milking and caring for the cows, and she enjoyed them - most of the time. She would tell you the barn was cleaner than her house because the barn was inspected regularly! &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Wes and Dorothy's home became the place to go for good food (she was an excellent cook) and fun. Dorothy welcomed and fed anyone and everyone who walked through the door including lots of kids. She looked forward to ALL the holiday gatherings at her home even though she had to milk cows before and after the meal. No matter how tired she was she always enjoyed company. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Dorothy was loving and always had room for more people in her life. She gladly welcomed the in-laws she gained as her children married and celebrated with joy each new grandchild. She was known as “Grandma Goofy” “Grandma Snazzy” and “Super Grandma” to those lucky enough to call her their own. She was loyal to her family, was an excellent listener, never condemned her loved ones even when she thought they were making a mistake. She just resolved to pray more for each one and said many times “prayer is our secret weapon.” Her faith was real and what kept her going through the hard times. Her philosophy was Biblical - “One Day at a Time” and that was her theme song in life. She’s confident she will spend eternity in heaven because of her relationship with God. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Dorothy's wit and humor stayed with her through all her strokes and illnesses. Drs., nurses, and EMTs commented on that and enjoyed caring for her. A large family and many friends will miss her sass and kindness, welcoming smile, big hugs, and laughter she so easily shared with everyone.

Doris Eileen Merrihew (Eileen) passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Linden Court, North Platte, Nebraska. She had been a resident at Linden Estates in North Platte, Nebraska, since December 2, 2013, and later moved to Linden Court. Doris Eileen Easton was born at Curtis, Nebraska, to Winford (Bud) and Georgia (Nichols) Easton on April 28, 1932. She spent most of her childhood in the Curtis area except for when the family had moved to Oregon to pick fruit during the Depression and when they had lived in Kearney, Nebraska, while her father was going to school. Myron L. Fred passed away unexpectedly at the age of 73 after a brief illness November 29th, 2022, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Omaha, NE. Myron was born February 24, 1949, in Valentine, NE to Glenn and Diana (Hoagland) Fred. Later that year the family moved southwest of Sargent on the K.C. Ranch. He spent his grade school years at Somerford School District #35 and graduated from Sargent High School in 1967. He attended the Milford Campus for Southeast Community College, majoring in diesel mechanics. After graduation, Myron was drafted into the Army and attended basic training in Fort Lewis, Washington. He then went to AIT training in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He served in Vietnam in the Artillery Division and then transferred to the Infantry Division as the radio man. He was honorably discharged in 1971. Myron and Betty Clark were married and had two sons, Jim and Cody. They later divorced. Myron worked on ranches in the Rose, NE area. He returned to the K.C. Ranch for a few years before buying the farm where he lived. Myron enjoyed his cattle, driving truck for the Ritchie’s and hauling fertilizer for Trotters. In the fall, during harvest he would also drive a truck for John Cox. When not trucking or at home proudly watching his son’s grow Fred Bros LLC, you could find Myron at Trotters with the coffee gang or eating lunch at The Ritz.

Myron is survived by his sons Jim (Amy) and Cody (Tabitha) of Sargent, 3 grandchildren Leah, Brenna, and Brycen and 3 step grandchildren Ashlyn, Kirstyn, and Terance, a brother Jamie (Kay) Fred of Rose and a sister Tami McIntosh of Sargent along with several nephews and a niece.

Myron was proceeded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be at Somerford Cemetery Wednesday December 21st, 2022, at 11:00 followed by a luncheon at the Sargent Community Center. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.

&nbsp; Donald Ray Myers was born March 10, 1936, at Trenton, Nebraska, to Archie (Pete) D. and Pauline (Polly) F. (Pfister) Myers. Don grew up and attended school in Palisade, Nebraska. He graduated from Sidney High School in 1955. On February 8, 1959, Don married Charlotte Rose Sayer at the Congregational Church in Ogallala, Nebraska. Don and Charlotte lived near McDonald, Kansas for a short time and then relocated to a home two miles south of Benkelman, NE, where they spent many happy years. In the spring of 1976 Don and Charlotte purchased their hog farm one mile west of Hamlet, NE. Don began his work ethic helping deliver milk to Palisade residents and shoveling snow, etc. After his mom’s death, he lived with his older brother and sister-in-law at Sidney where he found work delivering water trucks to oil well rigs and working at filling stations. After his high school graduation, Don worked for Kansas farmers until marriage and the move to Benkelman. Don often worked two jobs – farmhand, truck driver, Nebraska Port of Entry (Border Patrol), and Feed salesman. The move to Hamlet in 1976 proved good for the family as they all worked together with the hog operation. Later, Don managed the Hamlet grain elevator. He thoroughly enjoyed working with the local farmers. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, leather works including horse-tack and carpentry. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Don passed away Friday evening, December 2, 2022, at the Wauneta Care and Therapy Center, Wauneta, Nebraska. He was 86 years of age. Don was preceded in death by his parents; brothers John (Shirley), Robert (Delores), Albert, and Roger; sisters Arline Richardson (Bill), Hazel, Bonnie Ferguson (Dean), and Shirley; daughter Rose Mary Stritt and granddaughter Holly Shay Myers. &nbsp; JEANETTE LEHL, 79, of Ogallala, passed away on December 1, 2022, at her home. Jeanette was born on June 8, 1943, to Maurice and Naomi Spencer in Louisville, KY. The family moved to Ogallala in 1957 when her mom went to work at Allied Manufacturing in Ogallala. Jeanette graduated from Ogallala High School with the class of 1962. Jeanette married Kenneth Lehl on June 24, 1964, and subsequently went to work for TRW Manufacturing until her son, Michael, was adopted in 1970. In 1971, Jeanette started an in-home daycare, which she operated for over fifty years. She cared for generations of children, earning a special place in countless families and the hearts of a great many people. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her granddaughters, Amanda and Rebekah, her many friends, and all the daycare children she looked after over the many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and experienced firsthand the gentle spirit that she possessed. Jeanette was preceded in death by her mother, Naomi; husband, Kenny; brother, Wayne (Tex) Spencer; in-laws, Ed and Pauline Lehl; and brothers-in-law, Richard, Ron, and Don Lehl. Laurie was born on August 7, 1930, at Lincoln, Nebraska. Her parents, Patrick and Gladys (Toohey) Vinlove, raised her in Lincoln, where she graduated from St. Mary's Catholic School. On December 17, 1949, Laurie married Don Svoboda at Lincoln, and their union was blessed with four children: Tom, Mike, Christine, and Lisa. The family made their home in Lincoln until 1967, when they moved to Grant, as Don and his brother Frank had been active in purchasing ground in the region. Before Don's death in 2004, the couple enjoyed spending their winters in Yuma, AZ, for a number of years. Laurie was a woman of remarkable character, firm in her resolve and steadfast in her forbearance. Laurie did not have a heart for the spotlight and was both a subtle and gentle presence. When met with heavy burdens, Laurie met them with strength and grace. The winds of good times and hardship never really affected Laurie's demeanor; she was a quiet and faithful woman who never had a word of complaint. Laurie was preceded in death by her husband, Don; daughter, Lisa; an infant son, John; and grandson, Zach. Delores Svoboda (1930-2022)

Maureen G. McClendon, 89, of North Platte, passed away December 2, 2022, at Azria Health in Sutherland, Nebraska. Maureen was born February 12, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York. She also lived in Atlanta, Georgia, Anchorage, Alaska and San Francisco, California, the city which brought joy to her soul. She was a foster child for several years and as a teenager Maureen lived in a convent for a time. Her deep faith came from overcoming the many challenges life presented her. With her Irish grit, she solely raised and supported her daughter, Kathy. While in San Francisco, Maureen completed studies at the University of San Francisco earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theology in 1987. She owned and operated McClendon Castle Bed &amp; Breakfast for 25 years, just three blocks from Golden Gate Park, after completing her college degree. She welcomed the stranger, fed the hungry, and comforted the sick while offering the best of her Irish hospitality. She also volunteered as a Chaplin at Saint Mary’s Hospital and enjoyed the fine arts San Francisco offered. Just prior to her 80th&nbsp;birthday in 2013, she came to North Platte by invitation of friends she had made through her business and ultimately made North Platte her home. Though she returned to San Francisco for visits, she came to understand that God had led her to North Platte for a reason. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Maureen was a resident of the Buffalo Bill Manor until mid-September when she moved to Azria Health due to worsening health conditions. While living in Anchorage, Maureen met her good friend of 47 years, Marty Margeson. She was proud of her Irish heritage and became Marty’s daughter Beth’s Irish Gramma – she would attend Beth’s Irish Step Dancing competitions and cheer her on to her trophies. She and Beth had a special relationship sharing stories and humor. She used her positive attitude to cheer Beth on to be the best person she could be.

Always compassionate, she was a prayer partner to many and knew how to uplift people’s spirits with her positive attitude and winning smile. Maureen was preceded in death by her parents and younger sister. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine A. Sander of Martinez, CA, grandchildren, special long-time friends, Marty, Annie and Beth Margeson of Anchorage, Alaska, fellow parishioners, and many other friends.

 </figure>Maureen G. McClendon, 89, of North Platte, passed away December 2, 2022, at Azria Health in Sutherland, Nebraska. Maureen was born February 12, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York. She also lived in Atlanta, Georgia, Anchorage, Alaska and San Francisco, California, the city which brought joy to her soul. She was a foster child for several years and as a teenager Maureen lived in a convent for a time. Her deep faith came from overcoming the many challenges life presented her. With her Irish grit, she solely raised and supported her daughter, Kathy. While in San Francisco, Maureen completed studies at the University of San Francisco earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theology in 1987. She owned and operated McClendon Castle Bed &amp; Breakfast for 25 years, just three blocks from Golden Gate Park, after completing her college degree. She welcomed the stranger, fed the hungry, and comforted the sick while offering the best of her Irish hospitality. She also volunteered as a Chaplin at Saint Mary’s Hospital and enjoyed the fine arts San Francisco offered. Just prior to her 80th&nbsp;birthday in 2013, she came to North Platte by invitation of friends she had made through her business and ultimately made North Platte her home. Though she returned to San Francisco for visits, she came to understand that God had led her to North Platte for a reason. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Maureen was a resident of the Buffalo Bill Manor until mid-September when she moved to Azria Health due to worsening health conditions. While living in Anchorage, Maureen met her good friend of 47 years, Marty Margeson. She was proud of her Irish heritage and became Marty’s daughter Beth’s Irish Gramma – she would attend Beth’s Irish Step Dancing competitions and cheer her on to her trophies. She and Beth had a special relationship sharing stories and humor. She used her positive attitude to cheer Beth on to be the best person she could be.Always compassionate, she was a prayer partner to many and knew how to uplift people’s spirits with her positive attitude and winning smile. Janice C. Bagnell, 83, of North Platte, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Linden Court.&nbsp; She was born on March 22, 1939 in Linn, KS at home on the family farm, the daughter of Rudolph and Esther (Ohlde) VonLehe.&nbsp;

She was baptized on the family farm and attended Zion Lutheran School in Linn, KS for grade school.&nbsp; She was confirmed in the Zion Lutheran Church on March 29, 1953 and graduated from Linn High School in 1957.&nbsp; She attended Clarks Business School in Topeka where she met her future husband Tom, who was stationed at Forbes Air Force Base.&nbsp; On November 1, 1959, Janice was united in marriage to Thomas F. “Tom” Bagnell, Jr. in Linn, KS.&nbsp; The couple lived in Linn, KS, Burlington, MA and Washington, KS before moving to North Platte in 1979.&nbsp; Janice worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses in her early years until she started working at the Washington County Hospital in the late 1970’s, where she developed an interest in medical records, transcription, and coding.&nbsp; She pursued a home study course and became an accredited records technician in 1980.&nbsp; She spent the rest of her career at the Great Plains Hospital in North Platte in the medical records department.&nbsp; Janice enjoyed her family and cooking for them.&nbsp; She had many quilting and sewing projects and looked forward to fishing and traveling with her husband.

Those left to cherish Janice’s memory are her daughter, Terri (Les) Gauby of Washington, KS; sons, James (Paula) Bagnell of North Platte, Kelly (Tara) Bagnell of Sidney, NE and Curtis Bagnell of North Platte; five grandchildren, Beau Bagnell, Tess (Marc) Bacon, Skyler (Jake) Howitt, Scott Bagnell, and Bailey (Matt) Pracht; two great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Monte; sisters, Judy Christian of Garden Grove, CA, and Marita Lange of LaVernia, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband Tom.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev Daniel Ramsey officiating.&nbsp;&nbsp; Burial will follow at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.&nbsp; Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9th&nbsp;with the family receiving friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Janice C. Bagnell (1939-2022)

Gail Lynn Brezenski, 77, of North Platte, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Linden Court. She was born on July 28, 1945 in Long Beach, CA, the daughter of Russell Gordon McKenzie and Edna Dell (Peterman) McKenzie. Jesus referred to Nathaniel as a “man in whom there was no guile”. Gail also possessed that rare quality, neither was there any deceit in her. She was unassuming, honest, faithful, kind, generous and empathetic to others. She loved her dolls as a little girl and carried those motherly instincts into her golden years. By their 20th year of marriage, most people were done being parents, but she still had 20 more to go. When her children participated in field days in grade school, there was always a baby in the family that attracted attention from their friends. Most of the children didn’t experience little ones in their families and it was exciting for them to interact with the babies. Gail was especially watchful for less fortunate people during Christmas season doing what she could to brighten their lives. She was always happy to lighten the load of her husband’s billfold. She had a motherly approach to her students when she taught in public schools. The children often pointed her out to their parents in stores. Though she chose to be a stay-at-home mom, she freely used her education in church capacities teaching all ages from the nursery to adult Sunday school. She home schooled two of her youngest children. Of all her qualities, she was universally described as sweet, even into her final days of suffering the ravages of Alzheimer’s. We thank Heavenly Father for the time she dwelt among us and also for His mercy in calling his beautiful daughter home in a timely manner. Our lives will be a little sadder in the coming years, but Heaven also shines a little brighter because our Sweet Gail is home. Gail graduated from Pennsbury High School in Morrisville, PA, and then graduated with a BA in elementary education from Omaha University. She worked in the OB Ward of Bergan Mercy Hospital, and later substitute taught in several local public schools. She married Steve Brezenski in Omaha and together they had ten children. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Gail loved to garden and enjoyed weeding parties with her children. She knitted for fun but usually dismantled her knitting. She loved to sing, especially Primary Children’s hymns to the delight of her children. Her sorority sisters in college acknowledged her singing ability by presenting her with a flat bucket made of plywood.

Those left to cherish Gail’s memory are her husband of 55 years, Steve; children, Steve (Jill) Brezenski of MT, Jessie (Chris) Guidry of OK, Andy (Teresa) Brezenski of Lincoln, NE, Jerry (Michelle) Brezenski of AK, Gail (Tyler) Brooks of Omaha, NE, Beverly (Aaron) Jarvis of England, Margie (Josh) Eastlick of IA, Audrey (Jeff) Walker of MO, and Benny (Cathy) Brezenski of North Platte; 33 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; father, Russell McKenzie of OR; sister, Debbie McKenzie of OR. Judy was born on September 12, 1946, at Genoa, NE to Ralph and Donabelle (Hazen) Mohr. She attended country school through the 8th grade. Judy graduated from Genoa High School in 1964. After high school she attended Airline Stewardess training in St. Louis, MO. On July 20, 1968, she was united in marriage to Theodore “Ted” Taylor of Genoa. The couple made their home in Genoa before moving to Thedford in 1983. Judy worked as a grade school Para and for Lee Ray Insurance before being elected as the Thomas County Treasurer. She held this position for over 20 years. Judy retired in 2015. Her health started to decline shortly afterwards. Judy was a faithful member of the United Church of Christ. She helped at the church for funeral diners and served on many church boards. Judy enjoyed going to the casinos and going fishing. She loved watching Husker volleyball and her favorite baseball team, the Arizona Diamondbacks. Judy had many great friends and family in her life that took her on some great adventures big and small. She loved and remembered every detail of everyone of them. Judy was the greatest Grandma to her own grandkids as well as the many other children that were in her life. The candy drawer was always full, pudding in the fridge and the porch swing for stories and laughter.

Survivors include her husband Ted of Thedford, daughter Stephanie (Jason) Coffman of Dunning, son Stacey Taylor of Mahaska, KS, grandchildren; Alex and Austin Coffman, Megan Cool, Chris Higgins, and Cody and Brett Flippi, several great grandchildren and a brother Jerry (Marilyn) Mohr of Genoa. Alfred H Kuck, 91, of Smithfield, Nebraska passed away December 4, 2022 at Lexington Regional Health Center, Lexington.

Alfred was born October 29, 1931, on the farm in Gosper County, Nebraska to Herman and Gladys (Stine) Kuck. Alfred attended school at District 14 in Gosper County until he graduated the 8th&nbsp;Grade to help on the family farm and eventually received his GED. He met and married Marie Wilcox from McCook, Nebraska on April 27, 1951 in McCook, Nebraska at the Baptist Church. Alfred and Marie made their home south of Smithfield after their marriage until 1994 when they moved to Smithfield, NE. To the union were born 4 children, twins, Ronald &amp; Donald, Jerry and Ann. Alfred farmed on the family farm until the mid-eighties.&nbsp; For many years, he was a Registered Brangus breeder.&nbsp; His prize cattle included his brangus bull, Jed and brahma bull, Hudge. He then started working for Herb Wendland in Arapahoe, NE for the next few years until he started his own land-leveling business, Kuck Construction, which he ran until he retired in the late nineties. Alfred loved his family; especially spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.&nbsp; He loved Husker Volleyball, was the best storyteller, and loved America.&nbsp; In his younger years, he loved hunting and spent many years coyote hunting with his sons, grandkids, and friends. Alfred and Marie loved auctions, collecting antiques, and spent 20 years as antique dealers. &nbsp;He loved spending time in his shop and sharing his many creations.&nbsp; Some of his most recent favorite things included inventing bird feeders that outsmarted the squirrels and his annual combine ride during harvest.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

Alfred was preceded in death by his infant son, Ronald Dean; son, Donald; his parents, Herman &amp; Gladys; his in-laws, Charles &amp; Bessie Wilcox; and his brother, Bruce Kuck. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marie of Elwood, NE; son Jerry Kuck of Elwood and daughter Ann Johnson and her husband Scott of Elwood; sister Lola Davison and husband Mark of Smithfield, NE; sister-in-law Betty Jussel of Grand Island, NE; sister-in law Doris Ruppert of McCook, NE.&nbsp; Also surviving Alfred are 9 grandchildren; Kelli (Josh) Marshall, Jeremy Kuck, Eric Kuck, Ryan Kuck, Amy (Brandon) Stritt, Brad Wolfe, Andrew (Bethanne) Kuck, Emily (Jay) Weber, and Aaron Johnson, and 14 great-grandchildren; Ashlyn, Wilson, Clayton, Preston, Bellamie, Jordan, Haley, Teagan, Nolan, Kyler, Addison, Aviana, Bentley, Reagan, and Walter the dog; and many numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, Nebraska, with Pastor Sarah Neben, officiating. Alfred H Kuck (1931-2022)

Esther Mae Nierman, 83, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on December 4, 2022 at Lexington Regional Health Center in Lexington.

Esther was born in Helena, Montana on September 19, 1939, to George and Betty (Maiers) Martel. Esther graduated from Missoula County High School in Missoula, Montana with the class of 1957.&nbsp; She went on to further her education and eventually received a Master’s degree in education from Kearney State College in 1981. On December 25, 1961, Esther was united in marriage to Norman Nierman. Two boys were blessed to this union, Scott and Todd. Esther had been a devout member of the Trinity Lutheran Church since 1961. She enjoyed attending church where she would play the piano during services and was also a member of the choir. She was also a part of the Christian Women’s Group and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. During her free time, she loved bike riding and swimming. She was an avid reader and crafter. Scrapbooking was one of her favorite hobbies. Esther loved knitting, collecting tea pots and when she wasn’t playing the piano during church, she was teaching others how to play.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Betty; husband, Norman; and sister, Jewel Lawson. Left to celebrate her life are her sons, Scott (Laurie) Nierman of Lexington, Nebraska and Todd (Brenda) Nierman of Bennington, Nebraska; grandchildren, Eric (Toni) Howard, Andy (Katherine) Howard, Trevor (Sima) Nierman, Emily (Dominic) Nierman and Zoey Nierman, as well as three great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Esther Mae Nierman (1939-2022)

&nbsp; &nbsp; Ronald LeRoy Crowe was born on January 30, 1938 to Crosby Jr and Anna (Blecha) Crowe in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.&nbsp; He grew up and attended school in McCook, graduating with the McCook High School Class of 1956.&nbsp; Ron enlisted in the United States Army shortly after graduation.&nbsp; He was stationed in Germany for a year and in 1959 was honorably discharged.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Ron married Sharon Hollars on June 5, 1960 in McCook.&nbsp; They were lifelong residents of McCook where they raised their son, Kerry.&nbsp; Ron was employed at the McCook Daily Gazette from 1960-1988.&nbsp; He served as the advertising manager, general manager, and assistant publisher.&nbsp; He later went on to own and operate KICX and KBRL radio stations as well as RC Specialties on Norris Avenue in McCook. &nbsp; &nbsp; Ron was a member of the McCook Elks Club and was a past commander of St. John’s Commandery #16.&nbsp; He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.&nbsp; He and Sharon kept an immaculate yard and flower gardens.&nbsp; Ron loved spending time with his grandchildren and was so happy to meet his great-grandson, Graesen the day before he passed.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Ron passed away Sunday afternoon, December 4, 2022 at the Hillcrest Care Center in McCook.&nbsp; He was 84 years of age.

Ronald L Crowe (1938-2022)

&nbsp; &nbsp; Ardith Jean Stute, age 93, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side, on Sunday, December 4th, 2022, at the Wauneta Care and Therapy Center.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Ardith was born on January 21, 1929, at the family home south of Wauneta to Clarence "Harold" and Lucinda Ida (Trembly) Moon. While a young child, the family moved to a farm near Hamlet. &nbsp;She attended grade school in Hamlet and graduated from Wauneta High School with the class of 1946. &nbsp; &nbsp; On June 4, 1946, Ardith married the love of her life, Frank Stute, Jr., at St. Francis, Kansas. They made their home north of Benkelman and farmed for several years. Ardith also taught in several rural schools. The couple was blessed with three daughters: Gwendolyn, Janice and Donna. The family would eventually move to the Moon family farm near Hamlet. In the early years of the 70's they purchased the Imperial Livestock Auction Market and later Chappel Livestock Auction. In their 66 years of marriage, Ardith worked side by side with Frank. They worked hard but enjoyed life together. After Frank's passing in 2002, Ardith moved to McCook. &nbsp; &nbsp; Ardith was a life-time member of United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her yard and many flowers. There was always a card game around her table with good food, laughter, and fellowship with her many friends and family. She was known by everybody for her endless greeting cards and handwritten letters she sent. She was an amazing cook and known by her family for the best deviled eggs.

Ardith Jean Stute (1929-2022)

Rita Jameson, 82, of Oshkosh passed away Saturday afternoon, December 3, 2022 at Regional West Garden County Nursing Home in Oshkosh. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be announced in the future. Rita was born to Beatrice Marie and John James Piro on July 17, 1940, in Sacramento, California.&nbsp; Two years later, her sister Jo Ann joined the family.&nbsp; Rita spent her childhood mainly in Southern California but also lived in the Las Vegas area for a time.&nbsp; She was a graduate of Rosary High School in San Diego in 1958.&nbsp; After graduating high school, Rita obtained a Key Punch Operator certificate and worked in the administration offices of Marsten’s Department Stores and Speedy Ink in downtown San Diego.&nbsp; After her first marriage, Rita then relocated to Garden Grove, California, where she raised her family.&nbsp; After her two children began school, Rita started working part-time for the City of Garden Grove in the Accounting Department.&nbsp; Eventually, she was promoted to Payroll Technician for the entire city.&nbsp; Rita’s meticulous attention to detail and strong work ethic made her quite good at this enormous job and she spent almost 26 years in this position.&nbsp; While working for the City of Garden Grove, she met the love of her life, James L. Jameson and they married in Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 16, 1981.&nbsp; She and Jim chose to relocate to Oshkosh after retirement in April 1996.&nbsp; Jim had lived in Oshkosh in his youth and has many family ties here.&nbsp; He was a graduate of Garden County High School in 1953.&nbsp; Immediately upon moving to Oshkosh, Rita was embraced by the community and Oshkosh instantly became home for her.&nbsp; For her entire adult life, Rita surrounded herself with beautiful things.&nbsp; She was an avid and accomplished gardener and this was reflected in the landscaping of every home she lived in.&nbsp; She was an artistic and creative person who expressed herself in many different ways including crafting and painting and most recently in the beautiful barn quilts she made.&nbsp; Rita was a truly tender-hearted person who was especially moved by those in need and this of course included her love of animals.&nbsp; She has probably trapped, spayed, and neutered the bulk of the stray cats in town and personally raised and fed her own garage cats for over 10 years.&nbsp; Many people will remember her late companion, Ripley, the Dachsund with whom she spent more than 15 years and who was a beloved member of the family.&nbsp; Rita was an active person who wasn’t content to sit.&nbsp; She led exercise class at the Senior Center and was often seen walking around town or out gardening in her yard.&nbsp; She was a great friend and someone you could count on whether it was to help at a bake sale, serve at the Senior Center, or drive a van load of ladies to a Garden Club event. &nbsp;Rita dedicated herself to the Garden Club (for 25 years!), the Library, the Senior Center, and the Nursing Home during her time in Oshkosh.&nbsp; She met and befriended so many people here whom she loved and who in turn loved her.&nbsp; The people of Oshkosh meant a great deal to her and it was her wish to remain here throughout her brief illness.

As she lost her battle with cancer, she was surrounded by friends and family and great memories of a great life.&nbsp; Rita is survived by her son Randy Kettenhofen and his wife Carol; daughter Debra Orona and her husband Jesse; grandson Andrew McCune and his wife Amy; sister Jo Ann Townsend (with her children PJ, David, Chris, Teresa, Patricia &amp; Leticia); brother-in-law Bill Jameson and his wife Lynn; and many, many cousins, extended family members and friends from the Jameson side of the family.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her husband Jim.&nbsp;

Jameson and they married in Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 16, 1981.&nbsp; She and Jim chose to relocate to Oshkosh after retirement in April 1996.&nbsp; Jim had lived in Oshkosh in his youth and has many family ties here.&nbsp; He was a graduate of Garden County High School in 1953.&nbsp; Immediately upon moving to Oshkosh, Rita was embraced by the community and Oshkosh instantly became home for her.&nbsp; For her entire adult life, Rita surrounded herself with beautiful things.&nbsp; She was an avid and accomplished gardener and this was reflected in the landscaping of every home she lived in.&nbsp; She was an artistic and creative person who expressed herself in many different ways including crafting and painting and most recently in the beautiful barn quilts she made.&nbsp; Rita was a truly tender-hearted person who was especially moved by those in need and this of course included her love of animals.&nbsp; She has probably trapped, spayed, and neutered the bulk of the stray cats in town and personally raised and fed her own garage cats for over 10 years.&nbsp; Many people will remember her late companion, Ripley, the Dachsund with whom she spent more than 15 years and who was a beloved member of the family.&nbsp; Rita was an active person who wasn’t content to sit.&nbsp; She led exercise class at the Senior Center and was often seen walking around town or out gardening in her yard.&nbsp; She was a great friend and someone you could count on whether it was to help at a bake sale, serve at the Senior Center, or drive a van load of ladies to a Garden Club event. &nbsp;Rita dedicated herself to the Garden Club (for 25 years!), the Library, the Senior Center, and the Nursing Home during her time in Oshkosh.&nbsp; She met and befriended so many people here whom she loved and who in turn loved her.&nbsp; The people of Oshkosh meant a great deal to her and it was her wish to remain here throughout her brief illness.As she lost her battle with cancer, she was surrounded by friends and family and great memories of a great life.&nbsp; Rita is survived by her son Randy Kettenhofen and his wife Carol; daughter Debra Orona and her husband Jesse; grandson Andrew McCune and his wife Amy; sister Jo Ann Townsend (with her children PJ, David, Chris, Teresa, Patricia &amp; Leticia); brother-in-law Bill Jameson and his wife Lynn; and many, many cousins, extended family members and friends from the Jameson side of the family.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her husband Jim.&nbsp;

Rita Jameson (1940-2022)

On December 4, 2022, Hershey resident, Bruce Miller, died as the result of an automobile accident in Lincoln County. He was 79 years old.

Bruce was born to Blaine and Lavonne (Fitch) Miller at Sutherland on January 21, 1943. He grew up in Hershey where he graduated from high school in 1961. Bruce married Judy Sivits in 1960 at the Methodist Church in Hershey. The couple made their home on the farm near Hershey, where Bruce farmed with his dad, and later divorced. He eventually started a trucking company with Carroll Carston and they called it Carmil Inc. In 1979 Bruce married Kathleen Johnson and she joined him on the farm. They were married for 21 years when she passed away. Bruce was a member of the Hershey United Methodist Church and a 4-H leader. He loved what he did and had a passion for cars.

Survivors include his children, Robin (Beverly) Miller of North Platte and Mike (Treasure) Miller of Clermont, FL; stepdaughter, Misty (Lyle) Rhoten of Omaha; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and other family. Along with his wife, Kathleen, Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Blaine and Lavonne; brothers, Robert and Bill Miller; and stepdaughter, Chrystal Johnson.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Hershey United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Bruce Miller (1943-2022)

Delores Rodine, 89, formerly of Gothenburg died December 5, 2022 at the Callaway Good Life Center.

Delores Darlene Bailey was born in a sod house east of Arnold, Nebraska, within the community of Pleasant Hill. She was the last of 13 children born to Walter and Josephine Bailey on the family farm.&nbsp; She had many fond memories of life on the farm. Singing and music were a big part of entertainment for this big family. The family moved from the farm into Gothenburg where she attended high school and graduated in 1951. During high school, she worked in cafés in Brady and Gothenburg. After high school, she took a job with First State Bank. At that time, she met and married Wallace Rodine in 1953. Wallace was drafted into the Army shortly afterward. While stationed in Oklahoma, their first daughter, Kristie, was born. After discharge from the Army in 1955, they returned to Gothenburg and took over the family farm north of town in the New Hope community. Delores settled in and began her new career as a farmer’s wife. Another daughter Angie and son Randy were born. Raising her children became her number one priority. She was always busy cooking for the kids and the hired men that were working on the farm. Delores went back to work after Kristie and Angie moved away and continued working until her mid 70’s. She moved into the town of Gothenburg in the mid 1980’s. During these times, she worked as kitchen help and caregiver in private homes in the area. She put in many long hours helping those who needed her compassion and caring touch, which gave her a lot of pride and satisfaction. She moved into a smaller house on Avenue D, then to an apartment by the hospital. It was decided that she needed more assistance and moved into the Good Life Center in Callaway. She enjoyed watching old westerns and sermons on her television. She bounced back after many setbacks that she encountered during her life, due to her strength and faith. She welcomed anyone and everyone with open arms and never let anyone leave her house hungry. Delores was saved in Christ as a young girl and continued her love of God throughout her life. She was involved in the New Hope Church by teaching Sunday School and Ladies Aid Service.

Delores is survived by Wallace Rodine of North Platte, daughter Angie (Shawn) Henley of CA, son Randy of TX, son-in-law Joe Bartlett of Cozad, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Grandchildren are Marissa (Todd) Teske of MN, Brody Bartlett of Lincoln, Brandon Herzog of TX, Ashley (Bobby) St. Aubin of TX, Courtney (Jordan) Tyrrell of TX, Chase Henley of CA, and Braxton (Grace) Henley of AR. Great Grandchildren are Harlow and Lazarus Teske of MN, and Brock and Taya Tyrrell of TX. Delores is proceeded in death by Mother, Father, 12 siblings, and daughter Kristie Bartlett.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Monday, December 12, 2022, 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm with the family present from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Services will be held at Cornerstone Bible Church, Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:30 am with Pastor Scott Newman officiating. &nbsp; Interment will follow in the Gothenburg Cemetery. Delores Rodine (1933-2022)

Marilyn LaVaughn Mann Bauman, 88, died December 6, 2022, at Hester 
Care Center, Hutchinson.&nbsp; She was born May 28, 1934, in Gothenburg, NE, 
to Eilert Albert and Elizabeth Ann (Fickenscher) Stevens.&nbsp;

Marilyn graduated from Gothenburg High School, Gothenburg, NE, in 
1952.&nbsp; She received her bachelor degree in elementary education from 
Sterling College in 1978.&nbsp; Marilyn then embarked on a 20-year career as a
 second-grade teacher at Union Valley Grade School; she loved teaching. 
In addition, Marilyn enjoyed traveling, dancing, and just being with 
people.&nbsp; First and foremost, Marilyn treasured time spent with her 
ENTIRE family and held a special bond with her seven grandchildren, 
loving them unconditionally.&nbsp; She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter HP and 
Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hutchinson.

On June 5, 1954, she married Norman Mann; he died September 15, 
1977.&nbsp; Together, they shared over 23 years of marriage. Marilyn married 
Kenneth Bauman on November 29, 1980, in Hutchinson.&nbsp; They shared 
together almost 32 years of marriage prior to his death on May 31, 
2012.&nbsp;

Marilyn is survived by:&nbsp; son, Vonn Mann (Cheryl) of Ellisville, MO, 
and their children and grandchildren, Abby Mulcahy (Craig), Bernie and 
Sydney, Joel Mann (Alyssa) and Davin, and Josh Mann (Caitlin), and son, 
Scott Mann (T. Pritchard-Mann) of Hutchinson, and their children and 
grandchildren, Taylor Elizabeth Lent (Mason), Adeline, Scott, and 
Herschel, Chandler Grace Best (Conner) and baby due April 2023, Jewel 
Stevens Mann, and Lucy Camryn Mann; stepsons and their families, James 
Bauman (Janice), Megan Bauman and Lindsey Bauman, Rick Bauman and his 
daughter, Katie Degraffenried; and numerous nieces, nephews, and 
extended family members.&nbsp;

She was preceded in death by:&nbsp; her parents; husbands, Norman Mann and
 Kenneth Bauman; and siblings and their spouses, Genevieve Franzen 
(Reakus), Esther Hinze (Robert), and Lavern Stevens (Marian).

Marilyn LaVaughn Mann Bauman (1934-2022)

Patricia “Patty” Sue Shumpert (nee Tolly), 75, life-long resident of North Platte, NE, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg and went to her heavenly home, where she was welcomed by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.&nbsp;

Patty was born on April 15, 1947, in North Platte, NE, the daughter of Roscoe H. Tolly and Rose E. (Neiswanger) Tolly. She married Michael William Shumpert on September 29, 1973, and together they had 2 sons, Michael Jonathan and Matthew William, and a daughter, Melissa Sue, who was stillborn. Patty was a very loving and gentle mother.&nbsp; As a dedicated homemaker, she was the heart of a warm, comfortable, and loving home. Patty was a lifeguard at the Cody Park pool for many years, teaching kids and adults to swim, and she saved at least one life as well.&nbsp; Patty was a talented and artistic soul who loved many types of arts and crafts, but her passions were crochet and ceramics. She also loved gardening, it was her happy diversion from the troubles of life, and she had a green thumb. She was both a good cook and a baker and her recipes are still beloved by family and friend alike. Patty was one of the very sweetest people you'd ever meet, just one of a kind. She also one of the fiercest defenders when it came to standing up for her family, like a mama bear. She could work as hard as a man, but still wanted to be treated like a lady. Patty cared for her own mother for many years up until the end of Rose’s life.

Patty graduated from North Platte High School in 1965 and then attended Kearney State College, which later became the University of Nebraska at Kearney, from 1965 to 1968, studying elementary education. As an educator, working both a teacher’s aide and later a paraeducator at Cody Elementary School, Mrs. Shumpert was beloved by many children, especially those who came from troubled homes. She was always there to offer guidance or a hug. Patty loved Jesus and wanted to share His love with everyone.&nbsp; Her kindness and love reflected Christ in her heart. During college, Patty was a member of the Navigators and later volunteered at the Maranatha Bible Camp. She treated everyone with kindness and grace. Patty was always doing acts of service for friends and family. Patty also loved going to church services and participating in church activities.

Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory are her husband of 49 years, Michael W.; sons, Michael Jon Shumpert of Omaha, and Matthew W. Shumpert of North Platte. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Melissa; and brothers, Harry, and Bill Tolly.

Barb was raised in Ansley, attending Ansley Public Schools until her senior year of high school at which time her family moved to Cozad, NE where she graduated in 1958.&nbsp; She worked at Coffman &amp; Warner Department Store in Kearney after high school.&nbsp; In 1964, after marriage, Barb gave birth to her son, Daniel Gustafson.&nbsp; In April 1998, Barb married John “Jack” Kaspar in North Platte at the West End Chapel.&nbsp; With this marriage, she gained three children: Susan, Shelley, and John Jr.&nbsp; She spent several years working for the Salvation Army store, a job that she loved dearly. Barb absolutely loved her flower beds, especially her red and pink roses.&nbsp; She could often be found reading, any genre of book but her favorite being the Bible.&nbsp; Growing up, Barb read to all of her siblings.&nbsp; She was always looking out for everyone else before herself.&nbsp; She was often chipper and enjoyable to be around.&nbsp; Barb knew her directive and the direction she wanted her life to go.&nbsp; She loved her family dearly and was an outstanding wife, mother, and grandmother.

Those left to cherish Barb’s memory include her husband, Jack Kaspar; children, Susan (Raymond) Isaac, and their two children, Shelley (Bud) Parks, and their five children and 13 grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Laura Kaspar and her 3 children; siblings, Caroline Seeber, Luetta (Keith) McKelvey, David Thieman, Shelene (John) Reed; many other family members. Loved ones that preceded her in death are her sons, Daniel Gustafson and John Kaspar Jr.; brother-in-law, Allen Seeber; sister-in-law, Rita Thieman; nephew, Ryan Reed.

Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later time.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 11:30 A.M. at Adams &amp; Swanson Funeral Home with Pastor John Stone officiating.&nbsp; Burial will be held at a later date at Fort McPherson National Cemetery.&nbsp; Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 12-7 P.M. with family receiving friends from 5-7 P.M. at Adams &amp; Swanson Funeral Home which is in care of arrangements.

Barbara Ann Kaspar (1940-2022)

Betty J. Smith age 70 of North Platte passed away November 29, 2022 at her home.

Betty was born September 19, 1952 in Alliance, NE to Dale and Rose Mary Sperry Coleman.

Betty graduated from Hemingford High School in 1970 and received her RN license in 1974. She married Gary Smith on August 21, 1978 in Scottsbluff.&nbsp; In 1982 she worked as the Director of Nursing at the hospital in Newcastle.&nbsp; The couple moved to O’Neill in 2003 where she was a nursing home inspector. After moving to North Platte, she continued working for the state as a nursing home inspector until her retirement.

Betty was a strong woman and was an advocate for her nursing home residents.

Survivors include a sister, Bonnie (Bill) Shammel; sister-in-law, Debbie (Gary Wilson) Smith of Newcastle; step-son, Rick (Jennifer) Bane of Heath, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; nieces, Anna (Aaron) Logan and Jenny Mosley all of Newcastle; nephews Adam Shammel of Scottsbluff and Allan Shammel of Chadron; three great nephews; many family members and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, Gary.

Betty J Smith (1952-2022)

Jaque Arleta Kemerling, 50, of North Platte, Nebraska, gained her wings on December 5th, 2022 at Azria Health, Sutherland.

Jaque was born to Barbara Long (Dougherty) and Gary Kemerling on June 29th, 1972 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She graduated from Pius X High School in Lincoln. After high school, Jaque worked as an aide in a nursing home, a receptionist at Downtown Physicians Group, and at PCCW Telemarketing.&nbsp;Jaque enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends. She also enjoyed collecting anything with frogs. She always had a kind smile and a beautiful laugh.

She is survived by her children, Jordan Jackson, Mercedes Jackson, and Karizma Jackson, all of Lincoln, her granddaughter, Dyani Jackson of Clarksville, Tennessee, her mother, Barbara (Fred) Long of North Platte, her sister, Nicole (James) Tomlinson of North Platte, along with nieces and a nephew.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Kemerling, her grandmother, Selma Dougherty and her grandparents John "Swede" and Dorthea Kemerling.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in Lincoln.&nbsp; Adams &amp; Swanson Funeral Home is in care of local arrangements.
