Donald R.&nbsp; Rose, 86, of Arthur, passed away on&nbsp; Monday, November 1, 2021 at Indian Hills Manor in Ogallala, NE.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;He was born on September 5, 1935 to William Fran and Martha Anna (Naeve) Rose&nbsp; at Julesburg, CO. He attended school in Alliance.&nbsp;&nbsp; The family moved to Cogville, OR in 1951, and he graduated from Cogville High School in 1953.&nbsp; Don then moved to Lakeside in the summer of 1953 and worked for Meyer Land and Cattle.&nbsp; He married Dorothy Maxine Weinel at St. John's Lutheran Church in Alliance, May 8, 1955. To this union two sons were born, Dennis and Steve.&nbsp; In 1963, they moved to Arthur, NE where they worked on the Sillassen Ranch until 1979. Don then worked for Arthur County for a few years.&nbsp; He then worked part-time doing farm work for Adolph Holscher and Milford Kraweski in Keith County. Don is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Dorothy.&nbsp; Two sons; Dennis and&nbsp; (Jolene) Rose of Arthur, Steve and&nbsp; (Cindy) Rose of Alliance; two brothers, Dwayne (Grace) Rose of Alliance and Roy (Kathy) Rose of Independence, Missouri; 4 Grandsons, Heath Rose of Gillette, Wy. Ben (Jocelyn) Rose of Omaha, NE. He was born January 10, 1967 in North Platte, NE to Dennis R. and Nancy (Jurgens) Evarts.&nbsp; Growing up in North Platte he graduated in 1985 from North Platte High School, and went on to work for many years with the Union Pacific Railroad as an Engineer. Rick loved camping, fishing, boating, and all kinds of animals especially his pet dogs.&nbsp; He was an avid NE Husker sports fan.&nbsp; He was always very neat and tidy and liked everything in its place around his home.&nbsp; Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.&nbsp; His granddaughters were the “light of his life” and he loved spending time with them. Sonia Lee Morris Ambrosek started her life journey July 12, 1954, in Grappenhall, England; she passed from this life on October 28, 2021. Sonia was the daughter of Lilian Doreen Langley Morris and Robert Lee Morris. Sonia came to the United States at about 18 months of age with her parents and older brother, Howard. They came to eastern Nebraska and then moved to Illinois, where she spent the majority of her childhood. Sonia married Leslie Ambrosek and moved to southwest Nebraska where she resided until her death. She had a steep learning curve with a different way of life and way of living. Sonia was never one to hesitate to expand her horizons and to learn new things. She embraced her new adventure with good will, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Sonia arrived as a young city girl and became a very capable mother, wife and business partner. She was a mother to her children, but always had time and attention for many more through the years. She was a mother to all. Sonia was willing to listen and provide guidance to all both young and old. She became a valuable part of the business, especially with the communication with people, which she loved to do. Sonia was no stranger to work, working every day unless confined to bed, mostly for others benefit. Sonia loved the sunrise and sunset, grandkids projects, and she loved the beauty of the hawks and owls and the mystic powers that they held for her, a love she encouraged others to notice and enjoy. Sonia was preceded in death by her parents Robert Lee Morris and Lilian Doreen Morris; father-in-law Gerald Andrew Ambrosek; and mother-in-law Eva Emma Tepley Ambrosek and other family members. BERNARD "BERNIE" KRAJEWSKI, 79 of Grand Island, former longtime Ogallala resident, passed away October 31, 2021, at the Grand Island Regional Medical Center. Bernie was born March 17, 1942, at his childhood home in Ogallala, to Dick and Casmier (Pokorski) Krajewski. He graduated from Ogallala High School with the class of 1960 and subsequently entered the US Army. On May 15, 1965, Bernie married Jeanette Theiler at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Ogallala. Their union was blessed with 3 children, Nicheola, Matthew and Karma. Bernie owned and operated Westside Texaco and Bernie's Automotive for the better part of 35 years. Following his retirement, he worked at Charter Communications and Ogallala Electronics before a stroke necessitated a change of pace. Never a man of idleness, Bernie went to work at St. Luke's Catholic Church and Catholic School in maintenance, which he did for several years. Bernie loved the kids at St. Luke's, and they loved him too. His subtle presence and faithful service made an impactful ripple that traveled further than he could have realized. Upon moving to Grand Island, he continued his love of the school and children by helping out as a crossing guard at Starr Elementary School. Bernie was a longtime parishioner of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Ogallala, and was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Bernie was a longtime member of the Ogallala Elks Lodge as well as the Moose Lodge. Bernie was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Casmier Krajewski, brother, Dick Krajewski, Jr; and parents-in-law, Ed and Esther Theiler. Bernard "Bernie" Krajewski (1942-2021)

Mark Richard Pope, 65, of North Platte Nebraska passed away October 29, 2021.&nbsp; He was born May 30th, 1956 to Dorsey and Patty Pope of Council Bluffs, Iowa.&nbsp; Mark grew up in Council Bluffs where he attended school in Underwood and graduated with the class of 1975.&nbsp; A few months later, he enlisted with the Navy and served our country four years.&nbsp; He enjoyed traveling to different ports and experiencing the different culture.&nbsp; After leaving the Navy he joined the Army Reserves in 1983 where he met and later married Pamela Porter.&nbsp; They were blessed with 4 children, Michelle, Christopher, Colbey, and Tara.&nbsp; The couple lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa before making their home in North Platte, Nebraska.&nbsp; Mark was a conductor for the Union Pacific railroad up until his retirement in 2020.&nbsp; He was an avid hunter and fisherman.&nbsp; He enjoyed taking his grandsons fishing and spending time with his family. Mark is preceded in death by his mother Patty Pope, his maternal grandparents, his paternal grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.  </figure>Mark Richard Pope, 65, of North Platte Nebraska passed away October 29, 2021.&nbsp; He was born May 30th, 1956 to Dorsey and Patty Pope of Council Bluffs, Iowa.&nbsp; Mark grew up in Council Bluffs where he attended school in Underwood and graduated with the class of 1975.&nbsp; A few months later, he enlisted with the Navy and served our country four years.&nbsp; He enjoyed traveling to different ports and experiencing the different culture.&nbsp; After leaving the Navy he joined the Army Reserves in 1983 where he met and later married Pamela Porter.&nbsp; They were blessed with 4 children, Michelle, Christopher, Colbey, and Tara.&nbsp; The couple lived in Council Bluffs, Iowa before making their home in North Platte, Nebraska.&nbsp; Mark was a conductor for the Union Pacific railroad up until his retirement in 2020.&nbsp; He was an avid hunter and fisherman.&nbsp; He enjoyed taking his grandsons fishing and spending time with his family. Mark is preceded in death by his mother Patty Pope, his maternal grandparents, his paternal grandparents, and many aunts and uncles. Mark is survived by his wife of 34 years Pamela Pope, North Platte; father, Dorsey "Dean" Pope, Council Bluffs, Iowa; children Michelle Linzy, Colbey (Glen) Barber, Christopher Pope and Tara Giles; his grandsons Kale, Weston Barber, Carsyn Pope, Matthew &amp; Jethro Giles; brother, Timothy (Traci) Pope, Council Bluffs, Iowa; and sister, Teri (Aaron) Vorthmann, Henderson, Iowa.&nbsp; Along with many other family and friends. Mark R. Pope (1956-2021)

Sonia&nbsp;Arterburn, age 57, of North Platte, died at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney on November 1, 2021, after a short battle with cancer. Sonia was born to Ralph and Virginia Fischer on June 1, 1964. She was born and raised in North Platte, where she has lived all her life. Sonia later worked at the Hump Restaurant and other restaurants in town until her health declined. On June 25, 1983, Sonia married Wayne Arterburn and they had two children. She enjoyed crafts and cooking and loved her family and her dogs. Sonia especially loved her grandkids, they were the apples of her eyes. Sonia was a kind, giving person who will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Virginia Fischer. Sonia leaves behind her husband, Wayne, and son, Josh Arterburn, of North Platte; daughter, Jessica (Steven) Spencer, of Greeley, CO; grandchildren, Kayden and Damon Arterburn; siblings, Carol (Vincent) Brehm, of David City, Rodger Fischer, of North Platte, Randy (Tarea) Fischer, of Hays, KS, and Ronnie Fischer, of Las Vegas, NV; and other family. Diana Lee (McCain) Honerman, 80, of North Platte, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021.&nbsp; She was born in Gandyville, WV, to Harrel (Mac) and Leora (Glazebrook) McCain on April 3, 1941.&nbsp; Diana was raised in Independence, MO, and graduated from William Chrisman High School with the class of 1959. While attending the University of Missouri, Diana fell in love with the handsome, young assistant manager at W. T. Grants where she was a part-time salesclerk.&nbsp; Actually, the handsome young assistant manager was ready to fire Diana because she kept breaking merchandise (Mom was always a bit clumsy because she moved so quickly), but instead asked her out on a date. Merle and Diana were united in marriage on October 8, 1960, and enjoyed almost 60 years of marriage before Merle’s passing in June 2020. Merle’s career with Grants moved the family seven times in fourteen years before they settled in North Platte in 1976. Diana always made each new location a happy home, and they made life-long friends everywhere they lived. While in North Platte, Diana worked in the Superintendent’s Office for NPPS and alongside Merle at the Ben Franklin store where she taught craft classes and created beautiful silk flower arrangements for weddings. In later years, she volunteered at Great Plains Health, worked in the tasting room at Feather River Vineyards, loved discussing books with her book club, and enjoyed meeting with her P.E.O. sisters. Diana participated in many different civic and philanthropic organizations: North Platte Chamber Hostesses, Chi Omega Sorority Alumni, Prairie Arts Center, P.E.O., Quilt Guild, Sheldon Arts Gallery docent program, and Holy Spirit Catholic Church.&nbsp; Diana enjoyed many interests: quilting (she both taught and displayed quilts all over the country), painting (her tole painted Christmas ornaments are works of art), golf (she played in two leagues every Tuesday), sewing (everything from elaborate Halloween costumes to cherished clothes for the grandkids), gardening (she loved sharing fresh vegetables from her garden, especially zucchini and cantaloupe), traveling (any place warm or to see family), cheering on her beloved Cornhuskers, shopping (she was always on a “mission” to find a specific item of clothing, but once found, she wouldn’t purchase it unless it was on sale!), and spending time with family and friends. She leaves behind two children, Deb (Marty) Thalken of Tulsa, OK; Mike (Barb) Honerman of North Platte; five grandchildren, Tamara (Chris) Noel of Tulsa, OK; Tyler (Ashley) Thalken of Tulsa, OK; Matt (Tanya) Honerman of Lincoln, NE; Brian Honerman of Omaha, NE; and Amy (fiancé Collin Dorszynski) Honerman of Lincoln, NE; four great-grandchildren, Palmer and Pearson Noel, Charlotte and Elizabeth Thalken; sister Darlene (Dale) Howard of Petaluma, CA; brothers Charles (Myrna) McCain of Independence, MO; and Claude (Luwanna) Richards of Phoenix, AZ; sisters-in-law Eileen Hocking of Luverne, MN, and JoAnn Honerman of Sioux Falls, SD; her beloved kitty cat, Hudson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Diana was a vibrant, energetic, busy woman, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Diana Lee Honerman (1941-2021)

Ruth&nbsp;Brown, age 92, of Hershey, Nebraska, passed away at the Sutherland Care Center on October 31, 2021. Ruth was born February 21, 1929, on a farm near Genoa, NE. She was the youngest of five children born to Swedish immigrants, John and Hilda Carlson. Ruth attended rural school near Genoa and went on to graduate from Genoa High School in 1945. Ruth moved to Omaha in the fall of '45 to attend business school. After receiving her diploma she worked as a secretary in Omaha for a short time then moved to Seattle, WA, with her sister. Ruth worked for an insurance company for two years then, after saving enough money, she moved to Denver, CO, and worked for an attorney. While in Denver Ruth met Thomas Brown, through his sister, Lucille, and the couple married on March 26, 1954. They settled on the Brown farm at Hershey and raised five children during their 62 years of marriage. In later years Ruth and Tom enjoyed being grandparents and would take the grandkids on trips when they were little. Ruth was active in the Hershey community with the Garden Bells and Meadowlark Club and she and Tom were selected as Grand Marshals of the Hershey Fall Festival. Ruth was also a member of Maria Lutheran Church where she served on the church council and Ruth's Circle. Ruth enjoyed gardening, playing Scrabble, solving crossword puzzles, crocheting, canning, baking, making jellies and every Christmas was celebrated with Lutefisk, a Swedish seafood stew. To her family she was a Master Chef! She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, and their sons, David and John Thomas; her parents, John and Hilda Carlson; siblings, Bob, Kermit and Vincent Carlson and Inge Cieloha; and brother-in-law, Bob Brown. Ruth is survived by her children, Eric (Jackie) Brown and Scot (Susie) Brown, of Hershey and Amy (Steven) Fleecs, of Cortland; daughter-in-law, Tammy Brown, of Sutherland; brother-in-law, James (Kay) Brown, of Virginia; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Carlson, of Genoa and Della Brown, of Hershey. Ruth Brown (1929-2021)

Dennis H. Bihlmaier, 85, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died October 31, 2021 surrounded by his family at Gothenburg Health.&nbsp; He was born January 22, 1936 in Stratton, CO, son of&nbsp; Henry and Ruth (Schutz) Bihlmaier.&nbsp; The family moved to Eustis, where he attended school through the eighth grade.&nbsp; He left school to work on the farm and in a blacksmith shop to help support the family. Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Army for six years. Following his return from the Army, Dennis married Carol Sealander on July 27, 1959 in Ogallala.&nbsp; To this union, four children were born: Denise, Cindy, Steve, and Kelli.&nbsp; He was employed at Nebraska Public Power District until his retirement in 1994. Dennis was a member of the American Lutheran Church and a 55 year member of the Gothenburg Volunteer Fire Department. In September of 2018, he participated and enjoyed the Dawson County Hero Flight to Washington, DC. He enjoyed working on antique tractors and lawnmowers, working with his cows, putting up and bailing hay. Dennis enjoyed his time working along side Roy Bartlett and Scott Brown and family. He enjoyed going camping with family in his younger years. Later in life, he loved to watch the Price is Right and MeTV. &nbsp; On October 30, 2021, Lila Arensdorf passed away at the Sutherland Care Center at the age of 89. Lila, the daughter of George and Ruby (Owen) Humphrey, was born May 4, 1932, in Sutherland where she was raised and has lived all her life. After graduating from high school in 1949, Lila married Clarence Arensdorf on September 4, 1949.&nbsp; The couple made their home on the Arensdorf homestead where they raised their family. Lila was a member of the United Methodist Church at Sutherland and was active with the U.M.W.&nbsp; She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, doing crafts, embroidering and using her talents to make baby blankets and tea towels.&nbsp; Lila was a great wife and mother who loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, and their daughters, Judith Arensdorf and Jacqueline Sachtjen; her parents, George and Ruby Humphrey; brothers, LeRoy and Jack Humphrey; and her sister, Elaine Stagemeyer. Speak, 91, of Kearney, Nebraska passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.&nbsp; She was born November 24, 1929 in Lexington, Nebraska to George and Ida (Hatfield) Hofferber. She lived in Lexington and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1947. She was united in marriage to Bill J Speak on December 7, 1947 at the First United Methodist Church in Lexington, NE.&nbsp;&nbsp;They made their home in Lexington with their two children, Todd and Tobie (Johnson), until they moved to Kearney, Nebraska in 1957.&nbsp;&nbsp;While in Kearney, Georgia spent her time helping Bill run their Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge dealership, Speak Motor Company, until their retirement in 1983. Georgia was also an active member of the Kearney community. She was a past member of the Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Directors, past president of PEO Chapter FN and a member of the First United Methodist Church.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;After retiring, they moved to Bella Vista, AR in 1984 where she remained active in the community, PEO, and the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista.&nbsp; Georgia loved to travel, play tennis and golf, and was involved in several different bridge groups throughout her life. She was passionate about researching Speak family genealogy and was a founding member of the Speak Family Association. She was also an avid Husker fan.&nbsp; Georgia is survived by her son, Todd (Ann) Speak of Debary, Florida, daughter, Tobie Johnson of Kearney. Sue was born May 4, 1952 in Tahlequah, OK to parents Perry William and Lexa Ruth (Shipman) Keith.&nbsp; She was one of five children.&nbsp; Sue graduated from West High School in Denver, CO with the Class of 1970.&nbsp; She went on to attend college before beginning her career with the Jefferson County Sherriff’s Office in Lakewood, CO.&nbsp; Sue retired following a twenty year career as a sherriff.&nbsp; Sue married Jeff Rosander on April 1, 1980 in Lakewood.&nbsp; The couple moved to Indianola in 2011.&nbsp; Sue was an avid shopper.&nbsp; She enjoyed cooking, collecting Precious Moments figurines, and reading.&nbsp; She was a member of the Cherokee Indian Tribe as well as the Baptist Faith. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Peggy Bergen; brother, Gene Keith; and her niece, Rhonda Keith. Wayne Daniel, age 82, of Hamlet, NE passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Great Plains Health in North Platte, NE. Wayne was born April 28, 1939 in Blackfoot, ID to parents Orval W. Daniel and Ruth E. (Myers) Daniel.&nbsp; He was one of six children. Wayne graduated from high school in Minden, NE with the class of 1957. Following high school, Wayne enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served his country. Together with his first wife, Wayne had three children: Dale, Harlene and Richard.&nbsp; Wayne married Joann (Geis) Daniel on April 22, 1967 in Irving, TX. Wayne raised children, Julie and Johnny from Joann’s previous marriage. Over the years, Wayne worked as a machinist for Dahlgren Manufacturing where he created iron molds.&nbsp; &nbsp; Following his retirement in 1999, Wayne and Joann moved back to Nebraska from Texas where Wayne enjoyed pheasant hunting and fishing.&nbsp; He also enjoyed working in his yard and completing projects around his home.&nbsp; Wayne was a member of the Union Church in Hamlet.&nbsp; Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Orval “Jack” and Lester Daniel; sister, Irene Fisher and son, Richard Daniel Those left to celebrate his life include his wife, Joann Daniel of McCook, NE; son, Johnny (Elizabeth) Bornman of Oakland, OR; daughter, Julie Rogers of McCook; brother, Harland (Mary) Daniel of McCook; sister, Imagene Peres of McCook, five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

When Norman relocated to the Imperial, Nebraska area, he began working for Mid County Farms, where he was employed for the last six years. On July 4, 2020, Norman married Quintessa Renee Andrews in Champion, Nebraska. The couple settled in Champion and Norman continued farming. Norman enjoyed farm and mechanic work, fishing, and his coffee. He especially loved being a dad, husband, grandpa and spending time with his family. Norman passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Great Plains Medical Center, North Platte, NE. He was 49 years of age. Norman W Robertson (1972-2021)

&nbsp; PATRICIA MARIE FARMER, of Brule, passed away October 29, 2021, at Great Plains Health in North Platte. Patricia was born March 12, 1944, at Omaha, NE, to Robert and Julia (Kearney) Hitchcock. She graduated from Jefferson High School. Trish resided in Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Washington, and Arizona, before settling in Los Alamitos, California, where she worked at a large hospital as the secretary to the Administrator. While visiting her mother, Julia, in Lemoyne, Trish made the acquaintance of Ty Farmer, and the couple was married a week later on July 20, 1978. Trish and Ty made their home in Brule, where they've resided ever since. Trish and Ty raised miniature horses, which she loved. She was also a very talented painter and had a proclivity for depicting wildlife. She saw and appreciated the beauty in the things around her, from art and jewelry to relationships with her family and even her two favorite dogs: Roscoe and Maggie, who preceded her in death. She also had a wonderful sense of humor. Trish was more comfortable staying at home with her dogs, miniature horses and watching her favorite tv shows. She had a deep faith and longing for God. Trish was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Richard Brewster. Survivors include her husband, Ty of Brule; children, James (Anna) Scollard of Apple Valley, CA, Connie (Tim) Barrett of North Platte, Laurie (Scott) Cooper of Bradford, IA, Paul (Marci) Farmer of Letcher, SD, Samantha Farmer of Brule; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; brother, Richard (Bev) Hitchcock of Carroll, NE; along with many other relatives and friends. Patricia Farmer (1944-2021)

Eugene Charles Neal, age 76, of North Platte, Nebraska died on October 28, 2021, at the Emerald Nursing home in Cozad, Nebraska. Eugene was a beloved son and sibling, a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a friend of many. He was a respected family man. Eugene was born in North Platte on March 19, 1945, to Archie Edwin and Cleo Fern (Paxton) Neal of Tryon, Nebraska. He grew up in Tryon on his father's ranch and graduated from the McPherson County High School in 1963. Upon graduation, Eugene enlisted in the United States Army and served on active duty from 1963 to 1967 attaining the rank of Sergeant (E5). He was honorably discharged in 1970 after his obligation of service to the United States expired. Following his military service, Eugene returned to the family ranch and worked as a ranch hand until he met and married Connie Carol Hasbrouck on January 23, 1968. They had three children and later divorced in 1993. Eugene worked for the Nebraska Public Power District in North Platte and Sutherland, Nebraska, until he retired in 1994. During his retirement years, Eugene enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandkids. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #1504 and was always tinkering on projects with his son-in-law, James. He was an avid outdoorsman and a Sandhills cowboy at heart. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Cleo; brothers, Duane and Sanford; sister, Betty; brother-in-law, Leland Rodewald; and his former spouse, Connie. Kathy Hansen (1946-2021)

Kerri Joan Miller, 64, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died October 29, 2021 at her home in Gothenburg.&nbsp;&nbsp; Kerri was born October 25, 1957, to Elmer (Bud) and Margaret (Becker) Kramer at St. Mary’s Hospital in North Platte, Nebraska.&nbsp; She passed from this life on October 29, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family and friends at the age of 64 after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Kerri was raised on a farm west of Stapleton and attended Stapleton Public Schools, graduating in 1975. She married the love of her life, Tim Miller, on June 12th, 1976, and to this union they had two daughters: Marlena and Kayla. &nbsp;They made their home first in Arnold and then in Gothenburg for the past 25 years.&nbsp;&nbsp; Kerri worked beside her husband while on the farm.&nbsp; She worked at Wheelers for a few years before she began a 22-year career with the United States Postal Service in Gothenburg, where she was known and liked as the Postal Lady.&nbsp; Kerri retired from the post office in 2016 due to health reasons. Kerri was very family-oriented and loved hosting large family gatherings which usually ended in a good game of pitch. Holidays were her favorite as she loved to change out her décor and go to all the craft shows looking to add to her holiday décor and finding gag gifts for her friends. While living in Arnold, Kerri was very active in the local card club, sports, 4H and anything the girls were involved in.&nbsp; She played volleyball and was the pitcher on the women’s city softball team.&nbsp; She always had a garden and canned and shared the produce. She had a keen memory for birthdays and special dates, she never failed to send cards to family and friends, even as her health declined others pitched in to help get the cards sent. Kerri’s granddaughters brought a smile to her face. She loved to do projects with them and watching them in all their activities. She always made sure to have on hand their favorite kind of candy. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, they went on many trips including cruises and camping, until her health no longer permitted.&nbsp; &nbsp;Kerri was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Arnold where she was on the board and taught religion classes for several years.&nbsp; She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Gothenburg.&nbsp; Kerri’s faith was a very important part of her life. Kerri is survived by her husband, Tim Miller, of Gothenburg, daughter Marlena (Zach) Sheets of North Platte, and daughter Kayla (Scott) Peterson of Gothenburg.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was a loving and devoted grandmother to five granddaughters:&nbsp; Natalie, Lillyan, and Evelyn Sheets of North Platte, Ashlyn and Brilyn Peterson of Gothenburg.&nbsp;&nbsp; Kerri is survived by sister, Jean Cronin of North Platte, brother, William (Kathy) Kramer of Aurora, Colorado, sister-in-law’s:&nbsp; Connie Santo of Stapleton, Jean Flint of Broken Bow, and Mickey Miller of Greensboro, North Carolina. Kerri Miller (1957-2021)

Darla Lee Cadoret, 87 of Manhattan, KS passed away on October 22, 2021,&nbsp; at the Good Shepherd Homecare and Hospice House in Manhattan. 
Darla was born December 6, 1933, in Stockton, KS. Darla graduated from 
Stockton High School on May 16, 1952. She married the love of her life, 
Joseph Cadoret, on November 18, 1951, in Stockton. Darla and Joe’s love 
was nothing short of inspiring. 
She is survived by her daughters Kim (Doug) French of Stockton and 
Pamela Herl of North Platte, NE; grandchildren: Guy, Heather (Cameron), 
Amanda French; Courtney (Brian) Carpenter, Charlee Simpson (Aaron), and 
Stephanie Miner (Josh); as well as 17 great-grandchildren; sister Connie
 (Duane) Forbes, brothers: Dale and David Baxter and sister-in-law 
Bonnie Baxter. 
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, parents Charles and 
Flossie Baxter, her brother Don Baxter, sister-in-law Carolyn Baxter, 
and great-granddaughter Graycee Carpenter. 
Darla’s career as a licensed child care provider spanned decades and she
 loved each child as her own. The connections she made with the families
 had a lasting impression as she still received cards and updates to 
this day. She was lifelong in her faith and enjoyed her daily devotions.
 Darla and Joe traveled to Arizona many winters and you could find them 
playing Mexican train, shopping, and visiting with her family and 
friends. Darla enjoyed cooking, and her family would always request her 
famous peanut pie and Special K bars at every reunion and family holiday

Richard was born on August 25, 1941, in Arcadia, NE to Kenneth and Maxine (Scott) Slingsby.&nbsp; He was the fifth of eight children.&nbsp; He grew up on the family farm in Arcadia and graduated from Ansley High School in 1959. On June 13, 1965, he married Caroldean Buechler in Thedford, NE.&nbsp; To this union, four children were born:&nbsp; Lois, Jalea, Janae, and Jamie. Richard worked for 32 years drilling wells for Sargent Pipe/Irrigation.&nbsp; He then was employed with Custer County Implement, while also farming his family’s homestead.&nbsp; In later years, he worked for Bossen Livestock Company.&nbsp; Upon his retirement, Richard became a “professional” coffee drinker at the Tumbleweed Café. Throughout his retirement, Richard enjoyed traveling throughout the state of Nebraska watching his grandchildren participate in their extra-curricular activities. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Caroldean, his parents, his infant daughter, Lois, and one brother (Ron Slingsby) and one sister (Louise Fiene). Richard is survived by three children:&nbsp; Jalea (Jeff) Hedgecock of North Platte, Janae (Jake) Knoell of Omaha, and Jamie (Chrissy) Slingsby of Chadron; nine grandchildren; and five siblings.

Beverly Eggenspiller, age 82, of Brewster passed away October 23, 2021, at her home in Brewster.

Beverly Ann Hastings was born January 10, 1939, to Donald and Dorothy (Cole) Hastings in Kimberly, Idaho. Beverly attended school in Broken Bow, NE. After receiving her GED, Beverly went on and receiver her CNA, working at a Nursing Home. In 1986 she moved to Brewster, NE. When not working Beverly enjoyed riding with Ray while he was trucking. Beverly also enjoyed riding horses, garage sales, “Junk Jaunt”, and pottery.

Beverly is survived by her husband Raymond Fox of Brewster, daughter “Dot” Andersen (Mike Griffin) of Junction City, KS, sons Edward Andersen of Texas and James Fox of Holyoke, CO, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, brother Art (Ruth) Hastings of Texas, sister-in-law Jean Hastings of Peoria, IL, daughters-in-law Donna Andersen of North Platte, and Lyh Griffith of San Antonio, TX, and several nieces &amp; nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Dorothy Hastings, ex-husband Alfred Chris Andersen, husband Roy Eggenspiller, a son Daniel Eugene Andersen, sister Nancy Howard, and a brother John Hastings.
