Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door with all proceeds going to aid families and neighbors in Western Nebraska in their fight to beat cancer. North Platte, Neb. - Monster trucks are heading to the Lincoln County Raceway for the Monster Truck Mania event this Saturday. Saturday will feature two shows, the first one beginning at 1:00 and last until 3:00pm and the second show begins at 7:00pm and will go until 9:00pm. Drivers will compete in different events and will finish the night off in the freestyle.&nbsp;

Tickets are available for both shows but the first show is selling quickly. The second show on Saturday features a family package deal for $50, but tickets are selling quickly.&nbsp;

North Platte, Neb. - The Prairie Arts Center is gearing up for a fun-filled event this Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm with plenty of activities for everyone to come out and enjoy. The morning session is filled with free classes for all skill levels to come out and enjoy. &nbsp;

Vendors and food trucks will also be on scene during the day. The Children's Museum will have chalk ready for the kids to enjoy. Starting around 1:00pm, amateur artists will take the stage and will have over an hour to paint a portrait.&nbsp;&nbsp;

North Platte, Neb. - Grab the lawn chairs and gear up for the 10th Annual Music on the Bricks event which is taking place Friday and Saturday in the Canteen District. Friday event will run from 7:00pm - 10:00pm and will feature Bases Loaded. On Saturday, the event will start at 6:00pm and will last until midnight. Saturday's show features the James Burke Trio, tunes from Jim Calhoun, Barb and Brenda and finally Platinum Pearls will end the nights.&nbsp;

Admission is $7 per person and children 12 and under are free. However, if using a credit card, a $1 processing fee will be added so it will be $8. Reminder to bring a lawn chair as seating is very limited.&nbsp;

North Platte, Neb. - The Wild Bill's Fun Center will be the host site for the Simpsons Family Benefit Bowling Tournament this upcoming weekend. The benefit is being put together to help raise money for the Simpsons family after a devastating house fire that hurt the wife and child. Money will be raised to help the family. Many businesses in the community have donated raffle prizes for the event.&nbsp;&nbsp;
