Dorothy Lee McCall, 78, of North Platte, passed away July 10, 2022 at Sutherland Care Center.&nbsp; She was born on February 22, 1944 to Kenneth and Dorothy Rose in Omaha.

At age nine, Dorothy was adopted by Loren and Martha Woodcock.&nbsp; She graduated from North Platte High School.&nbsp; After Dorothy’s children were grown, she went to nursing school and received her LPN degree.&nbsp; She cared for her parents and neighbors until their death and also did in-home care.&nbsp; Dorothy married Lynn McCall in 1961 at First Lutheran Church in North Platte.&nbsp; She worked side by side with Lynn on the farm and loved the farm life.&nbsp; Every day they worked together was another day of vacation.&nbsp; She enjoyed the outdoors, nature, working in the garden and the yard.&nbsp; She loved horseback riding, training dogs, sewing, leather tooling and she sold many of her items.&nbsp; She treasured her time as a member of the Velvet Spurs.&nbsp; Dorothy’s family was the center of her life.

Dorothy is survived by husband Lynn of North Platte; children, John (Gaylene) McCall of North Platte, Kelly (Roger) Thompson of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Jessica (B.J.) &nbsp; There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots. But sometimes, there are old bold pilots. Tom Trail was born March 16th,1939 in McCook, Nebraska to Doane and Frances Trail. Tom was a pilot at heart his whole life, whether he was able to fly or not.&nbsp; Like many of the Trail boys of the era, learning to fly was a fun activity you got to do at home. After a short stint in the Air Force Warrant Officer program, Tom went on to pursue his passion for aviation in other various forms, such as aerial spraying, flying mail, corporate pilot, A&amp;P, weights engineer (Beechcraft), and the old standby of telling stories at various airports around the Midwest.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Tom was married to Linda Johnson in 1969 and had four children. They later divorced and Linda and the children moved to Ainsworth, Nebraska. &nbsp;Tom moved to Long Pine, Nebraska in 1987 to be closer to his children.&nbsp; He was a longtime member of Ainsworth Lion's Club, Ainsworth United Methodist Church and choir, he was an active member of the Long Pine Chamber of Commerce, a volunteer EMT, and part of the Long Pine Historical Society.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Tom was preceded in death by his parents.&nbsp; He is survived by children: David (Dawn) Trail of Lincoln, Nebraska; Julie (Dan) Benes of Wahoo, Nebraska; Josh (Beth) Trail of Bellevue, Nebraska; and Matt (Justin) Trail of Phoenix, Arizona; siblings: Margaret (Dale) Nielsen of Papillion, Nebraska; Virginia (Vern) Trail of Apache Junction, Arizona; Richard (Ann) Trail of McCook; nine grandchildren: Brenden (Andrea) Trail, Cameron Trail, Reagan Benes, Daniel Benes, Adrianna Trail, Madison Trail, Titan Trail, Emry Trail, and Mirriam Trail. &nbsp; &nbsp; Tom lived his last days at the Veterans Administration home in Bellevue, Nebraska, where he was able to see kids and grandkids. He was well taken care of and was known to always have a craft project in the works. He passed away peacefully with family by his side in Omaha, Nebraska on July 8 2022 at the age of 83.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Delbert Allan Blake, age 83, a longtime resident of McCook, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 7, 2022 in Wauneta, Nebraska.&nbsp; Delbert was born November 7, 1938 to Claude and Marjorie (Callan) Blake in Ogallala, Nebraska.&nbsp; He was raised in the Bartley area and attended school with the class of 1956.

&nbsp; &nbsp; On August 28, 1960, Delbert married Neola Premer in Bartley, Nebraska.&nbsp; They moved to McCook where Delbert and his father bought a service station in May of 1961.&nbsp; Delbert worked at Blake’s Services until declining health forced him to step away just a few years ago. &nbsp; &nbsp; Delbert was active in his children’s sporting activities and coached their softball and baseball teams.&nbsp; He loved to pheasant and deer hunt and was a fan of all Husker sports.&nbsp; Most of all, he loved driving his fast cars!

&nbsp; Leta Louise Andres, 96, passed away on June 24,2022 in Woodland, California. She was born in Dundy County, NE to Mary and William A. Baney on January 13, 1926. She grew up on the family farm surrounded by many brothers, sisters and extended relatives. She married Junior Andres on February 10, 1945 in Parks, NE. She loved gardening and had a large vegetable garden and many varieties of flowers. The couple loved traveling to visit family and areas of interest. They farmed northwest of Benkelman until their retirement in 2002, then moved into Benkelman. In 2013, she moved to Woodland, CA due to health. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and William A. Baney, her husband of 60 years, Junior, a daughter Gala Jean, 3 sisters, Velma Cline, Elia Whitehead, Bonnie Jean Nelson, and 3 brothers, Everet Baney, Dale Baney, and Billie Baney. She is survived by her son, Garry (Lavon) Andres, a daughter, Reva (Rod) Roland, six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren, sisters Ruby Stock, Helen Hansen, Barbara (Earl) Pursley and 1 brother, Jim (Mary) Barney, sisters-in-law Delores Baney, Donna Baney, and Betty Ellis, plus numerous nieces, nephews, and friends Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning, July 16, 2022, 11:00 A.M. Leta L. Andres (1926-2022)

&nbsp; Patrick "Pat" T. Madden, 63, of Ogallala, formerly of Wauneta, passed away July 8, 2022, at his home. Pat was born April 8, 1959, at Chicago, IL, to Hugh "Thomas" and Verinta (Ochala) Madden. Pat and his family moved around frequently following Tom's career in the military. The family lived in Illinois, California, Washington and Texas before moving to Colorado Springs, where Pat graduated from Harrison High School with the class of 1977. Pat worked as a lineman for a utility company as he went to college. In the mid-1980s, Pat visited his best friend, John "Johnny" Cash, in Wauneta, and Pat fell in love with the charm of the small town. He would return to Colorado Springs for a brief stint to finish out his National Guard commitment, then moved to Wauneta. In 1983, Pat married Mary Ann Milner, and they were blessed with two children, Elisha and Owen. Pat put up grain bins and did cement work before going to work for the Village of Wauneta. A few years later, Pat became the Village Superintendent, which was a job that he deeply loved. His career was cut short when a workplace accident in October of 1998 nearly claimed his life, leaving him disabled. He went back to a utility company, Southwest Public Power reading meters until he moved away from Wauneta. Pat found a part-time job working at NAPA in Ogallala. In 2015, Pat connected with Johnny's sister, Joyce Cash, and the two became an inseparable couple. Most recently, the two lived north of Ogallala. Pat had a servant's heart and loved helping people. He came to embody the type of values that captured his heart when he'd first visited Wauneta. He was a straightforward kind of man, which many people appreciated about him. He often self-deprecatingly labeled himself a jack of all trades and master of none, though his gifts seemed to abound even after his accident. Pat was gregarious, always willing to help and enjoying the company of others. Pat was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Curtis. Survivors include his companion, Joyce Cash of Ogallala; children, Elisha Madden of Champion, Owen Madden of Wauneta; granddaughter, Ruthan Madden; Brothers, Carl (Candy) Madden of Colorado Springs, CO, Gary Madden of Colorado Springs, CO, Jerome Madden of North Platte; friends, John Cash of Florida and Lynn Brunkhorst of Wauneta; he had two extra kids that he thought of as his own, Tiffany Ward of Oklahoma and Brian Woodring of North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Mildred was born November 30, 1928, at Wallace, Nebraska, to James Aubrey and Lily Rebecca (Dalgarn) Brown. She graduated from Wallace High School with the class of 1946. On March 5, 1948, Mildred married Richard P. Martin at North Platte. The couple made their home in the Wallace area, where they farmed. Their union was blessed with two sons, David Lynn and Dennis Craig. Mildred was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for many years and served as secretary. She had also been the secretary of the women's society at the Wallace United Methodist Church, where she was a lifetime member. Mildred enjoyed volunteering over the years. She had volunteered at both the library and satellite medical clinic for several years. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband in 1992 and her siblings, Virginia Clark, Jessie Sivits, Lily Cecil, Dorothy Fear, Donald Brown, and James Brown. Jamie Plaster, 36, of North Platte, passed away July 10, 2022.&nbsp; She was born on July 18, 1985, to David and Allison (Hoy) Alfers in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Jamie was born in Fort Collins, CO and raised in Denver, CO.&nbsp; She attended Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, CO.&nbsp; Growing up, Jamie was always extroverted, she knew all of her neighbors, even before her parents did.&nbsp; She loved to snowboard and was very artistic.&nbsp; She did outstanding drawings with paint pens, oil paintings, and modern abstract art.&nbsp; Jamie was very social into her adult life as well.&nbsp; She was very outdoorsy and loved animals, especially her late German Shephard, Timber.&nbsp; Jamie met Shane Plaster in Winter Park, Colorado in the early 2000’s.&nbsp; They married in Fort Collins, CO and to this union two sons were born, Talan and Drake.&nbsp; Jamie worked at First National Bank as a bank teller.&nbsp; Jamie was a free spirit and always marched to her own beat.

Survivors include sons, Talan and Drake Plaster; parents, Dave and Allison Alfers of Berthoud, CO; brother, Joseph Alfers; paternal grandma, Kay Alfers. Preceding her in death were maternal grandparents, Judson and Joan (Jameson) Hoy; paternal grandfather, Jean Alfers.

Jamie Plaster (1985-2022)

Howard&nbsp;Gebhardt passed away at his home in North Platte, Nebraska, on July 9, 2022, the day of his 97th birthday.

Howard, the son of John and Emma Gebhardt, was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, on July 9, 1925. When he was 16 years old the family moved to Hastings where Howard graduated from high school. In 1943, Howard was drafted into the U.S. Navy where he served 2 years, 5 months and 21 days in the South Pacific on LSM #2 as a radar man. He also participated in an invasion to liberate the Philippines and an invasion of Okinawa. Howard was proud to have been aboard the LSM #2 when it was commissioned and sent to the South Pacific, and was still on aboard when it was brought back home after the war to be decommissioned. Howard is a part of "our greatest generation" who proudly served our country during W.W.II. Following his honorable discharge in 1946, Howard returned to Nebraska and was united in marriage to Ruth Hofferber in Norfolk on March 6, 1949. They were blessed with 73 years of marriage and four daughters. After receiving an auditors position in the insurance business the Gebhardts moved to Memphis, TN, where two daughters were born. Three years later they returned to Nebraska where Howard worked for USF&amp;G Insurance Company in Omaha. They welcomed two more daughters and lived in Omaha for 26 years. Howard and Ruth moved to North Platte in 1977. Here, Howard continued working in insurance and stayed busy volunteering and being involved with various organizations and his church. He was a supporter of Boy Scout Troop #291 and was a member of V.F.W. Post #1504, P.R. Halligan Post #163 American Legion, and Cooties. He was an Admiral in the Nebraska Navy, Past Commander of the V.F.W., helped organize Wreaths Across America for Fort McPherson National Cemetery, served on the North Platte Veteran's Honor Guard, and drove veterans to the hospital and VA home in Grand Island. Howard was recognized with the Cody Scout Award and just before his passing he received the Cootie of the Year Award. He was always willing to help others, especially those who had served. Howard was also a member and deacon at First Presbyterian Church and a volunteer with the food pantry. He was an active member of Platte Valley Lodge #32 AF&amp;AM and the North Platte Shrine Club where he served in many different positions. If there was something to sell to help the organizations, Howard was there to help! In his free time, Howard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and collecting. He collected coins, stamps, ducks and beer mugs. He was also a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Cornhuskers. Howard will be remembered for his love of family and his country, and kindness to others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma; his daughter, Ann Stearns; granddaughter, Rachel; and his sisters, Margaret and Marian. Howard is survived by his loving wife, Ruth. He was so proud of being a part of a five generation family which includes his daughters, Susan Matousek of Omaha, Jane Sullivan of Valley and Sharon James of Omaha; grandchildren, Kim, Jason (Dianne), Eric, Jeff (Nikki), Randall (Meaghan) and Christina (Angela); great-grandchildren, Kelcee (Zach), Lynzee (Kyle), Justin, Brenden, Brienna and Brayden; great great-grandchildren, Collin, Aurora and Ethan; sisters, Jenni Aley and Phyllis Etling; and other family.

Services with Masonic Rites and military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Emily McCreery officiating. Cremation was chosen and inurnment will be at a later date in the Omaha National Cemetery. Jaunita E. Ady, 64, of North Platte, NE passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on March 22, 1958 in Harper, Kansas the daughter of Howard I. and Evelyn (Hardy) Ady. Jaunita attended North Platte High School and worked for over 22 years as a cashier with the North Platte Wal-Mart.&nbsp; She adored her grandchildren and loved to spoil them whenever she had the chance.

Those left to cherish Jaunita’s memory are her daughters, Kerry (Christopher) Roth of North Platte, Misty (Rick) Brown of North Platte, and Heather (Eric) Welch of Hershey; grandchildren, Calvin Parrett, Jolynn Welch, Nevaeh Brown, and Charlie Brown; great-grandchildren, Danny and Leia Parrett; brothers, Howard (Kim) Ady of Sutherland, John (Natalie) Ady of North Platte, Jim (Sam) Ady of North Platte, Bill (Jackie) Ady of Omaha and Keith Ady of Omaha; and a plethora of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Evelyn.

Joan Ryker Rhoades was born October 3rd, 1931, to Albert and Margaret Heitman in Wellfleet, NE.&nbsp; She passed peacefully from this earth on July 8th, 2022, in her home surrounded by family in Broken Bow, NE. Joan was married to Maurice Ryker June 26, 1949, in Wellfleet, and to this union five children were born.&nbsp; William, Patricia (Frank), Maurice Dean (Jean), Douglas (Ann), Pamela (Ron).&nbsp; She also unofficially adopted Caroline Hood Hult of Superior, NE.&nbsp; After the marriage, Joan and Maurice resided on his father’s ranch north of Wellfleet.&nbsp; They moved in 1959 to a ranch in the Sandhills east of Brewster in Blaine County.&nbsp;

Joan was employed at the Halsey Forest until the mid-sixties when she began working at Becton Dickinson, Broken Bow, NE.&nbsp; She retired from there after many years of service.&nbsp; She drove 45 miles one way on country roads through all kinds of weather until she moved to Broken Bow, where she resided the rest of her life.&nbsp;

In 1989, her husband Maurice passed away.&nbsp; She remarried to Willard Rhoades, who was her very best friend throughout life, in 1992.&nbsp; She loved her family dearly and card games always broke out when family visited.&nbsp; She also looked forward to special trips to the casino where she was Lady Luck. Joan loved looking nice and had a flair for fashion getting her hair fixed and her nails polished on a regular schedule.&nbsp;

Joan is survived by her children, 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.&nbsp;

She was sustained by her faith and was baptized as a young girl.&nbsp; Her sense of humor and her love of life carried her to the ripe old age of 90 before she went to meet her Lord.&nbsp;

William Perry Gerloff, age 99, of McCook, NE passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Kinship Pointe in McCook.

William was born August 7, 1922 in Freeport, Ill to parents William P. and Elizabeth (Heckesmiller) Gerloff.&nbsp; William proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1945. He was a member of the Methodist Faith.

William was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Ethel Gerloff. Those left to celebrate his life include his son, John (Marie) Gerloff of Brighton, CO; and his granddaughter, Lori (Ryan) Crocker of Sunrise Beach, MO; and two great grandsons.

 </figure>William Perry Gerloff, age 99, of McCook, NE passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Kinship Pointe in McCook.William was born August 7, 1922 in Freeport, Ill to parents William P. and Elizabeth (Heckesmiller) Gerloff.&nbsp; William proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1945. He was a member of the Methodist Faith.William was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Ethel Gerloff. Those left to celebrate his life include his son, John (Marie) Gerloff of Brighton, CO; and his granddaughter, Lori (Ryan) Crocker of Sunrise Beach, MO; and two great grandsons.In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the McCook Senior Center 1312 West 5th, McCook, NE 69001. Siegrid Wilmot, age 83, of Trenton, NE passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at El Dorado Manor in Trenton.

Siegrid was born December 16, 1938 in Breslau, Germany to parents Reinhard and Erna (Haenisch) Ringel.&nbsp; She was one of two siblings who grew up in Germany where she also attended school, completing two years of business college. Siegrid moved to the United States in 1960 and became a US Citizen in 1965. Siegrid married Duane Wilmot of McCook, NE and became a step-parent to his son, Cliff.&nbsp; Siegrid and Duane owned and operated the Wilmot Supper Club for many years.&nbsp; Siegrid enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting, water skiing and kayaking.&nbsp; She was also very fond of small animals. Siegrid was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane Wilmot in 1999; and her brother, Fred Ringel.

Those left to celebrate her life include her stepson, Cliff Wilmot of Wilsonville, NE; sister in law, Inge Ringel of Germany; and several close friends which include Fred and Holly Kennedy of Indianola, NE.

Warren Edward Harrison, age 94, of Stratton, NE passed away July 3, 2022 at El Dorado Manor in Trenton, NE.

Warren was born July 15, 1927 in the 3-36 Precinct of Dundy County, Nebraska on the family farm to Elmer and Cleo (Tatum) Harrison. He was raised on the farm and attended Ash Grove school. He left school during his freshmen year of high school to help on the farm. During this time, Warren and his twin brother Wayne would pick corn by hand with a horse drawn wagon.

On August 3, 1948, Warren married Rose A. Maris in her family home near Stratton. Together, they raised children Ed, Bev, Judy and Ken.&nbsp; Growing up on the farm sparked his passion for feeding the world, and he was a lifelong farmer. Warren raised livestock, wheat, corn and other small grains, enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing softball and grew delicious sweet corn. He was a member of the Christian Union Church in Stratton. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, he was happiest when with them.

Warren is preceded in death by parents; wife, Rose Harrison; daughter, Judy Harrison; brother, Don Harrison; sister-in-laws Violet, Joan and Fredora; daughter in laws, Barb and Alicia; and infant sister, Bonnie Jean. Warren E Harrison (1927-2022)

&nbsp; Mary Rebecca 'Becky' Hohnbaum of North Platte, died July 10, 2022, at the Sutherland Care Center in the arms of her loving husband of 62 years after a struggle with dementia.&nbsp; She was 84 years old. Becky, a Christmas gift to Frank Leslie and Mary Catherine (Hatfield) Lee, was born December 25, 1937, at Lexington.&nbsp; She grew up on a farm east of Lexington and was active in the First Methodist Church.&nbsp; Becky attended rural school then graduated from Lexington High School.&nbsp; She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln then did her graduate work at Wayne State College and at several other colleges.&nbsp; Becky's first teaching job was at a grade school in York. While attending Nebraska Wesleyan, Becky met the love of her life, Jerry A. Hohnbaum, and they were married at the First Methodist Church in Lexington on June 4, 1960.&nbsp; In 1977, the Hohnbaums settled in North Platte.&nbsp; Becky taught grade school at Hershey and in North Platte at Osgood and Hall School and also tutored for the North Platte High School. During her graduate studies, Becky became interested in working with students who were having troubles in school, so after 20 years of teaching she and Jerry opened the R&amp;J Learning Center in North Platte where she tutored.&nbsp; Becky had a passion for helping students reach their potential.&nbsp; One student which she helped get through junior and senior high, "went out on his own" to finish college and law school and is now a judge in another state.&nbsp; She was so proud of his and the others accomplishments. Becky was an active member of Episcopal Church of Our Savior where she was in the choir and served on other church groups. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Lucile Hohnbaum; her sister and brother-in-law, Georgia and Don Jones; brother-in-law, Dan Apple; and her aunts and uncles. Becky is survived by her loving husband, Jerry of Sutherland; son, David Hohnbaum; foster son, Steve (Connie) Mahanes; grandchildren, Erik (Kellie) Mahanes and Michael Mahanes; two great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Gale Hohnbaum Apple; brother-in-law, Bill Hohnbaum; cousin, Janet Hatfield; and other family. Coke Thompson (born Colleen Ann White), age 69, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, from complications of kidney failure after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Ron, her three sons, Cliff, John, and Ryne, as well as her siblings Jack, William, Shannon and Francie.

Coke’s life was full since childhood. As a teenager she performed as one of the original Irish Dancers in O’Neill, Nebraska's Annual Heritage celebration. After graduation from St. Mary's high school, she traveled to Kansas City and Chicago as a young woman, where she worked with racehorses - a lifelong love. At age 28, she met Ron, and their 40-year partnership was marked by a love of the outdoors. The two enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing together - including a honeymoon trip to fly fish in Montana. Ron and Coke raised three boys, all college graduates, and she lovingly supported many trips to their sporting events, through the years.

A talented athlete herself, she played volleyball, softball, and a mean game of pocket billiards. Coke worked in agricultural statistics, chasing down busy farmers to record key crop and livestock data. She loved to tend her garden and home in Trenton, which was always a place of love and welcome for family and strangers alike. She will be dearly missed in conversation and correspondence by her many beloved friends.&nbsp;

Colleen "Coke" Ann Thompson (1953-2022)

Evelyn L. Searle, 84, of North Platte, passed away July 6, 2022 at home.&nbsp; She was born on August 10, 1937 to Ralph and Wilma (Collins) Burger in Boulder, CO.

Evelyn moved to North Platte in 1940 and attended school at St. Patrick’s Catholic School.&nbsp; She married Edward T. Lloyd and to this union, six children were born.&nbsp; She then married Frank Paro who died in 1982.&nbsp; Evelyn and her husband Donn Searle moved to Missouri and opened a convenience store which was open for 10 years.&nbsp; After Donn passed, she moved back to North Platte to be closer to family. Evelyn enjoyed life to the fullest, and took pride in raising her family.&nbsp; She had a special interest in animals of all kinds.

Survivors include her children, Lynne (Cliff) Hills of North Platte, Edward “Tom” II (Jan) Lloyd of Montana, Mark (Iris) Lloyd of Wilbur, Ann (Rex) Hollman of Crete, Gena (Billy Joe) Stringham of North Platte; 14 grandchildren; sister, Barbara Telitz of North Platte; numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward T. Lloyd, Frank Paro, Donn Searle; and daughter, Mary A. Lloyd.

Jim Jochum, of North Platte, passed away at Great Plains Health on July 8, 2022, at the age of 77.

Jim, the son of Ray and Mae Jochum, was born in Sutherland on September 12, 1944. He grew up working on the family farm and graduated from Sutherland High School. Jim continued farming and later owned the Wallace Lounge and sold real estate for Gothenburg Realty.

In 1968, Jim married Lynne Rector at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sutherland and they made their home on the farm. The couple later divorced. Jim was then united in marriage to Sally Forrester and she passed away in 2017.

Jim Loved animals, especially birds, shooting guns and doing yard work.

Along with his wife, Sally, Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mae Jochum; his brothers, Billy and Raymond; his daughter, Johna Morvant, and grandchildren, Peyton and Parker Rasmussen; and special friend, Tom Yost. Jim is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Cotton Yost (Rod) of North Platte; his sister, Maryann Truex of Colorado; grandchildren, Rylie (Adam) Dobesh and Jace Jochum; great-grandson, Bennett; Tom's wife, Janice Yost of Maxwell; and other family.

Blake&nbsp;Hinton, age 92, of North Platte, passed away at the Golden Living Center in Cozad on July 4, 2022.

Blake was born to Dale and Mary Hinton at South Bend, IN, on July 11, 1929. He grew up in South Bend where he graduated from Washington Clay High School (in Clay Township) and worked for A&amp;P Tea Company then for Greenwood Brothers Supermarket as a produce manager then store manager for 14 years. On September 10, 1949, Blake was united in marriage to Jeanette Louise Fair in South Bend. They were blessed with 63 years of marriage and five children. Blake and Jeanette lived in South Bend until 1965 when they moved to Florida. They owned and operated Dog-N-Suds in Naples for 5 years then bought a restaurant in Ft. Meyers and ran that for 4 years. The Hinton family moved to Ft. Collins, CO, in 1971 and worked at a detective agency for a few years then returned to Florida. In 1982 they moved to North Platte and leased the Airport Inn, operating the restaurant until retiring in 1991, and were members of First Baptist Church. Blake and Jeanette enjoyed traveling; they traveled through Europe, Texas, Alaska and all the lower 48 states. They especially enjoyed wintering in Texas. Blake was a member of the Masonic Tropical Lodge #56 in Ft. Meyers and the Shriners in Hastings. Blake was an amazing singer who sang with several opera groups in Florida and with the church choir.

Blake was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette, and son, Dave; his father, Dale Hinton; and his mother and stepfather, Mary and John Young. Survivors include his daughters, Dianne (Clark) Laier of Eustis, Kathleen (Calvin) Miller of Omaha, and Becky Hinton of Cozad; son, Randolph (Jean) Hinton of Lincoln; daughter-in-law, Becky Hinton of Casper, WY, grandchildren, Andrea, Andy, Patrick (Kandi), Cody (Kim), Callie (Josh), Janina (Josh), Justin, Cassidy (Jessica), Alex (Erica) and Ryan; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; and other family.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the First Baptist Church. Inurnment will follow in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. The memorial book may be signed online at odeanchapel.com or at Odean Colonial Chapel at C &amp; Sycamore, which is in charge of arrangements. Sharon A. Brandt, 78, of North Platte, NE passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at home.

She was born on June 11, 1944 in O’Neill, NE the daughter of Helen Summers.&nbsp; Sharon graduated from high school and worked for most of her career as a social worker with the NE Department of Health and Human Services.&nbsp; On February 14, 1984 she married Randall “Randy” Brandt in Las Vegas, NV.&nbsp; She loved spending time with family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Sharon’s memory are her husband of 38 years, Randy; son, Scott (Malinda) Halsted of North Platte; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 step-granddaughter; sister, Beverly Worthen of WA; step-children, Tammy (Mike) Bundjer of AK and Rodney (Jennifer) Brandt of North Platte. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen; son, Bryan James Halsted; and by a sister, Patricia Wallace.

Connie Marie Tines, 65, of North Platte, NE passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at UNMC in Omaha surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 20, 1956 in Sutherland, NE the daughter of Wayne and Joyce (Scott) Hastings. Connie graduated from Hayes Center High School in 1974 and attended Kearney State and the University of NE in Lincoln.&nbsp; She married the love of her life Mick on February 16, 1980 in McCook and together they were blessed with two daughters.&nbsp; She loved working as the billing office manager with pathology services here in North Platte.&nbsp; Connie was an avid CU “Buffalo” fan and also enjoyed baking, cooking, and watching Rylee race motocross.&nbsp; She loved making everyone she met happy and was affectionately known by her grandchildren as “Nini.”&nbsp; She loved spending time with her grandkids and watching them play sports and activities.

Those left to cherish Connie’s memory are her husband of 42 years, Mick; daughters, Crista (Jason) Murrish of North Platte and Jamie Tines of North Platte; grandchildren, Rylee Murrish, Colton and Kyler Way; sisters, Cindy (Todd) Kinney of Ft. &nbsp; Clairene was born in Rosebud, South Dakota to Jennie Nelson Cloud and Oliver White Hat on September 11, 1932. She grew up in Rosebud and Lakeview, South Dakota. Her mother Jenny worked at the Rosebud hospital and when she stayed with her, Clairene and her cousin, Noah “Punk” Pretty Bird would ride their horses all day throughout the canyons around Rosebud. They grew up together like brother and sister. They also stayed most of the time in Lakeview with their Grandma and Grandpa Bill and Agnes Yellow Robe. Their Grandparents built a livery on their allotment and ran a half-way house in Lakeview, which served as a stopover for the Rosebud Agency supply shipments coming from Fort Niobrara Nebraska. Agnes would cook and bake for the men and Bill would feed and provide water for the horses. Clairene had a wonderful childhood and loved to share her stories about growing up with Grandma and Grandpa Yellow Robe. Clairene married Phillip Eugene Graeff. This marriage produced a son, Noah Richard “Sandy” Graeff. Phillip was killed in a car accident leaving Clairene a widow in her early twenties. Afterward, Clairene lived in Rapid City, and met Glenn Dale Tucker, recently discharged from the Navy. Glenn said he was looking for the prettiest girl in Rapid to marry. He found her when he met Clairene. They married and moved to Valentine, Nebraska to make their home. They had two more children, Linda Susan Tucker and Mark Dale Tucker. Clairene spent most of her life on the Rosebud Reservation except for a brief time in Rapid City and Brookings, South Dakota. Clairene was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Glenn Dale Tucker, and Son, Mark Dale Tucker (Rhonda), Grandson Phillip Dale Tucker, mother Jennie Cloud, Father Oliver White Hat, her sisters, Roselyn White Quills, Betty Blindman and brothers Norman Red Bird, and Sylvan and Ambrose White Hat. Clairene leaves behind her son, Noah “Sandy” Tucker (Nancy) and daughter, Linda Tucker Szabo (Paul). Clairene Joyce Tucker (White Hat) (1932-2022)

Andrew (Andy) Skorniak, 79, of Brule, passed away Wednesday July 6, 2022 in Sterling, Colorado.&nbsp;

Andrew L. Skorniak was born on May 3, 1943 in Loup City, NE to Edward and Salomea (Wojtalewicz) Skorniak.&nbsp; Andrew grew up on a farm near Ashton, NE and he attended the County School District 56, until he began attending Ashton District 16 and then St. Francis Catholic school&nbsp; for his elementary years.&nbsp; In 1961, Andrew graduated from District 16 Ashton High School. &nbsp;After graduation, Andrew worked for many area farmers and then Bushman Construction Co. until he enlisted into the Air Force on October 4, 1962.&nbsp; He was stationed at Lockland Air Force Base until be transferred to Southeast Asia.&nbsp; He was in Asia until his return to Travis Air Force Base in California where he was discharged on October 3, 1966, making his home in Fairfield CA, where he worked for the Navy. Andrew moved to Omaha, NE in 1964 and he worked various jobs while he attended school at CE School of Commerce.&nbsp; Andrew moved around from state to state over the next few years.&nbsp; He made his home in Grand Island, NE in 1972 and began working for the Defense Plant.&nbsp; In 1977, Andrew moved to Wallace, NE and started working for&nbsp; a construction company that was building the Sutherland Power Plant. Later in 1977, Andrew made his home in Ogallala, NE working for the city for a short time, before he moved to Brule, NE in 1979 and went to work for the Village of Brule until his retirement in 2019. Andrew was an avid card player, loved reading and history, as well as visiting museums and visiting his friends and family also brought him great joy.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, his infant sister Mary and one son Shawn who passed away in 1997. His survivors include his son Steven Skorniak of Omaha, NE. and a brother Robert (Judy) Skorniak of Loup City, NE.

Rosary will be held Monday July 11th at 10:00 am, with mass of the Christian burial to follow at 10:30 am at St Luke's Catholic Church with Father Bryan Ernest officiating. Interment will be at Omaha National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 12th at 9:00 a.m.&nbsp; A memorial has been established to VFW Post 3755 of Ogallala.&nbsp; Military Honors by Keith County Veterans Honor Guard.

Andrew "Andy" Leon Skorniak (1943-2022)

Marcia "Judy" Bricker, age 82, was surrounded by her family when she passed away at her home in North Platte on July 6, 2022.

Judy was born March 29, 1940, to Earl 'Chuck' and Lucy Flint in North Platte. She grew up in North Platte where she graduated from high school. In 1959, she married Paul Bricker and they lived in Ogallala. The couple later divorced. While in Ogallala, Judy was on a bowling league and worked at Sixth Street, Quick Stop, Sapp Brothers and TRW. When she moved back to North Platte, she went to work in the lunch room at St. Patrick's Catholic School, then for the North Platte Public School Early Childhood Education with the Adopt a Grandparent program. Judy was a crafty person and loved to do puzzles and bake cakes and pies. She especially loved the holidays and her dog, Daisy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy and Earl Flint; sisters, Lynn Pettit and Louise Krzycki; brother, Earl and wife, Donna Flint; brothers-in-law, Albert Dowhower and Harold Parish; and her son, Jason Bricker. Judy is survived by her children, Scott Bricker of Paxton, Natalie (Tom) Beck of Tekamah and Janny (Russell) Baldwin of Derby, KS; sisters, Jean Dowhower of North Platte and Earlene Parish of Lemoyne; brother, Frank (Mary) Flint of Ohio; brother-in-law, Adrian 'Kris' Krzycki of North Platte; her beloved dog, Daisy; and 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and other family.

 </figure>Marcia "Judy" Bricker, age 82, was surrounded by her family when she passed away at her home in North Platte on July 6, 2022.Judy was born March 29, 1940, to Earl 'Chuck' and Lucy Flint in North Platte. She grew up in North Platte where she graduated from high school. In 1959, she married Paul Bricker and they lived in Ogallala. The couple later divorced. While in Ogallala, Judy was on a bowling league and worked at Sixth Street, Quick Stop, Sapp Brothers and TRW. When she moved back to North Platte, she went to work in the lunch room at St. Patrick's Catholic School, then for the North Platte Public School Early Childhood Education with the Adopt a Grandparent program. Judy was a crafty person and loved to do puzzles and bake cakes and pies. She especially loved the holidays and her dog, Daisy.She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy and Earl Flint; sisters, Lynn Pettit and Louise Krzycki; brother, Earl and wife, Donna Flint; brothers-in-law, Albert Dowhower and Harold Parish; and her son, Jason Bricker. Judy is survived by her children, Scott Bricker of Paxton, Natalie (Tom) Beck of Tekamah and Janny (Russell) Baldwin of Derby, KS; sisters, Jean Dowhower of North Platte and Earlene Parish of Lemoyne; brother, Frank (Mary) Flint of Ohio; brother-in-law, Adrian 'Kris' Krzycki of North Platte; her beloved dog, Daisy; and 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and other family.Cremation was chosen. Judy Bricker (1940-2022)

Thomas Michael Frizzle, age 73, of Stratton, NE passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at Community Hospital in McCook.

Tom was born November 24, 1948 in Port Huron, MI to parents Ralph and Alice (Cameron) Frizzle.&nbsp; He was one of seven children. Tom enlisted in the United States Army in 1969.&nbsp; He proudly served his country as an intelligence officer until his Honorable Discharge in 1971.&nbsp; Following his discharge, he continued to work as a defense contractor for the military.&nbsp; He also attended college in Los Angeles College. On October 22, 1976, Tom married the love of his life, Shawnda (Quinn) Frizzle in Las Vegas, NV.&nbsp; To this union three children were born.&nbsp; Living in many different states, Tom and Shawnda settled on making Stratton as their home. Over the years, Tom enjoyed gardening, hiking to look for rocks, minerals and fossils, camping and spending time in the outdoors.&nbsp; He was a member of VFW Post #9155 in Stratton as well as a past board member for the Stratton Village. Tom served as an elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dave, Bernie and Paul Frizzle; and his sister, Karen Dowling. Those left to celebrate his life include his wife, Shawnda Frizzle of Stratton; son, Scott Frizzle of Longmont, CO; daughters, Jeanette (Jay Beasley) Frizzle of Longmont and Dana Frizzle of Stratton; brother, Chuck (Nancy) Frizzle of CA; sister, Nancy (Gerry) Behaylo of MI; sister in law, Sue Frizzle of WA; and one grandchild, Annaleah Frizzle.

Visitation will be held at 12pm, one hour prior to funeral services, on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in McCook, NE. A funeral service will begin at 1pm on Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, McCook, with Dr. Jason Blomstedt officiating. Thomas M Frizzle (1948-2022)

&nbsp;Joseph Elliott, age 57, of Trenton, passed away at Community Hospital of McCook on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Joseph Michael Elliott was born on June 4, 1964 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Joseph and Donna Elliott. He attended school in Denver.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In 2000, Joe moved to Trenton, Nebraska with his two girls.&nbsp; He was the manager of the Soo Paw Motel in Trenton and in 2006, he met Kecia Yost.&nbsp; In 2008, Joe and Kecia were united in marriage. The couple managed the Soo Paw Motel together until 2011, when they purchased their first home in Trenton and started a new chapter of their lives together.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Joseph was a person of many trades, including construction and remodeling as well as being a gifted mechanic.&nbsp; He also worked for many years as a cook at the Northshore Marina in Trenton.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In his spare time, he enjoyed computer games and above all he loved to golf.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Elliott.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Survivors include his wife Kecia Elliott of Trenton, Nebraska; mother, Donna Elliott of Denver, Colorado; sister, Michelle (Chris) Lujan of Denver, Colorado; brother, Dan (Kristine) Elliott of Lufkin, Texas and brother, Randy Elliott Coburn of Albuquerque, New Mexico; daughters, Angaleena Elliott of Kearney, Nebraska and Jodi Elliott of Salem, Oregon; nephews, Garrett Elliott of Tucson, Arizona and Eamon Lujan of Denver, Colorado; niece, Faith Lujan also of Denver, Colorado; as well as his three grandchildren.
