Doris V. Clough, age 92, of McCook, NE passed away at her home in Highland Park Retirement Community on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Doris was born near Wallace, the youngest of four children born to Herbert and Esther (Bond) Rowan. She attended first grade in a rural school south of Wallace and spent the next eleven years at Wallace Public School. Doris graduated in 1948 and went on to attend Kearney State College, as it was called at the time, for one year, obtaining her teaching certificate. Doris taught school for two years in rural Perkins County, NE.

Doris was united in marriage to Duane Clough of Wallace on December 23, 1950 in the Wallace Methodist Church. The couple moved several times due to Duane’s job. They lived in Grant, Stratton, Franklin and McCook.&nbsp;

In February 1952, Duane was drafted into the Marines. Doris followed him to California where she lived while Duane completed basic training.&nbsp; Their oldest son, Richard, was born there. While Duane was overseas, Doris and Richard moved back to Wallace to live with her parents. When Duane was discharged from the Marines, the family moved to Holdrege, NE where Duane worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads. While living in Holdrege, sons Rodney and David were born.&nbsp; Doris stayed active in her sons’ lives, volunteering as a Boy Scout Den Mother and a Sunday School Teacher.&nbsp;

In 1970, Duane’s job brought the family to McCook.&nbsp; Doris worked in nursing homes in Holdrege and McCook.&nbsp; She spent a total of twenty-four years working as a CNA.&nbsp; Doris also worked as a teacher’s aide in the special education program at McCook Public Schools.&nbsp;

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of seventy years, Duane, in 2021; her parents; brother, Leonard and wife, Mae; sister, Leona Wood and husband, Roy; sister, Rosalie Brown and husband, Doug; and her sisters in law, Mildred Clough and Doloris Sides.

Those left to celebrate her life include her sons, Richard Clough of McCook, Rodney (Donna) Clough of Wallace, and David (Lori) Clough of Culbertson, NE; granddaughters, Corinne (Dan) Clough/Kaeding of Champaign, IL and Jessi Leak of McCook; grandsons, Stephen (Bethany) Clough of Ohio, Bradley (Jourdan) Clough of Texas, Kyle (Katelyn) Clough, Brandon (Cheridawn) Clough and Tanner (Madisen) Clough, all of Wallace, and Brandon (Laura) Leak of Russellville, AR; great grandchildren, Carter, Campbell, Dylan, Rowen, Mia, Wynnie, Emmie, Zoe, Margot, Kollins, Brinleigh, Clover, Kaizley and Bailey; brother in law, Ward (Pauline) Clough of Colorado and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Doris Virginia Clough (1930-2023)

&nbsp; &nbsp; Roger Vern Messinger was born on January 17, 1930 in McCook, Nebraska to Fred and Bertha (Lofton) Messinger.&nbsp;&nbsp;He attended school in McCook, graduating from McCook High School and continuing his education at McCook Junior College.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roger served his state and country as a part of the Nebraska Army National Guard.

&nbsp; &nbsp; McCook was Roger’s home for all his life.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was united in marriage to Gloria Marie Larreau on September 23, 1951, and together they raised three sons on the family farm south of town.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roger farmed as well as working at Klein Motor and Electric and Wilcox Well Drilling seasonally.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roger was a member of the McCook Elk’s Club and Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roger served for over 30 years on the McCook Public Power District Board of Directors.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Roger enjoyed traveling, hunting, and boating.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was happiest when spending time with family and his close friends.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roger took great joy in following his children, and later in life, his grandchildren, in their many sporting and other school activities.&nbsp;

&nbsp; &nbsp; Roger passed away Saturday afternoon, April 22, 2023 at Community Hospital in McCook.&nbsp; He was 93 years of age.

&nbsp; &nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Bertha; wife, Gloria in 2010; granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Messinger in 1994; grandson, Zachary Adam Messinger in 2012; and his siblings and spouses, Wayne and Donna Messinger, Wilma and Lyle Stevens, and Ardis and James Poole.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Survivors include his sons, Lance Fred Messinger and wife, Cheryl of Longmont, Colorado, Craig Duane Messinger of McCook, and Bruce Kevin Messinger of Erie, Colorado; grandchildren: Sarah Marie (Nick) Smith, Lindsey Nicole Messinger, Amanda Lee Messinger, Alexander John Messinger, Samantha Nicole Messinger, Benjamin August Messinger, and Noah Mayson Messinger; great-grandchildren: Andrew August Smith and Elizabeth Teresa Marie Smith; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

&nbsp; &nbsp; Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM, Tuesday morning, May 2, 2023 at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook with Pastor Jeremy LaBrie officiating.&nbsp; Interment with military honors will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, McCook.&nbsp; To honor Roger's wishes, there will be no visitation and the casket will remain closed.

Roger V. Messinger (1930-2023)

David Wayne Seevers, 57, of Lincoln, passed away on April 18, 2023, in Waverly. David was born on March 7, 1966, to Roland and Wanda (Clang) Seevers in North Platte. He graduated with the class of 1985. He worked construction with Simon Contractors, Dustrol Construction and J-Ton Construction in Lincoln. He married Marcie Sharton in Lincoln. Two daughters were born: Jaden and Peyton Seevers. David was a hard-working, honest, loving, giving and happy person. He enjoyed camping, fishing and cooking. He especially loved his big family. He was an active member of the Great Plains Community Church in Lincoln.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Seevers; and his brothers, Richard Klatt and Douglas Seevers. He is survived by his wife, Marcie Sharton; daughters, Jaden and Peyton Seevers, both of Lincoln; his father, Roland Seevers and his wife, Doris, of Grand Island; his sisters, Kathy (Ron) Johnson of North Platte and Ronda Warner of Gillette, Wyoming; his brother, William Klatt of North Platte; an unborn grandson; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A celebration of life will be at a later date in Lincoln.

Wilma French age 89 of Broken Bow, NE passed away April 24, 2023, at the Brookestone View in Broken Bow.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Tim Peterson officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Wilma Jean (Larson) French was born October 23rd, 1933, at Broken Bow, NE. to Harry G and Gertrude (Walter) Larson.&nbsp;&nbsp;She grew up on the family farm in Rose Valley northeast of Broken Bow and enjoyed going to grade school at the Rose Valley country school where she met many friends. She then attended Broken Bow High School where she enjoyed music and was proud to be part of the marching band playing the clarinet while also making many more new friends. She graduated from high school in 1951 and started at the University of Nebraska that fall. She would graduate from UNL with a degree in Business Administration in the spring of 1955. While attending the University she met Gene French and would later marry on August 29, 1954. After Wilma and Gene graduated in 1955, Wilma followed Gene around during his service to the Country. This service would take them to Idaho, Utah, Texas, and Oklahoma before Gene was sent overseas. Wilma would stay in Lincoln, NE. working for a professor at the UNL College of Dentistry. When Gene returned from his Military service overseas in July of 1958, they would move to the ranch east of Broken Bow. Wilma’s college degree would prove to be an asset for helping to manage their growing purebred livestock operation. She learned computing skills on her own which would prove to be invaluable for developing the bull sale catalog and other data intensive requirements of the seedstock business. She worked tirelessly both as a homemaker and a business partner. During these 53 years she would raise 2 boys – Lynn and Carl, and a daughter, Karen. Her children were her pride and joy. She was an excellent seamstress and would make many of her own and her daughter Karen’s childhood clothes. She made her own beautiful wedding dress and all 5 of the bridesmaids’ dresses. Her kids and grandkids fondly remember her excellent cooking and her pies were the best. In 2011, Wilma and Gene bought a house in Broken Bow where they moved. Wilma enjoyed spending time in her flower gardens and working for the Christian Women’s Club. She played the piano for the worship services at the Evangelical Free Church and later at the Golden Living Center retirement home. She also taught piano lessons to some of her granddaughters.

She leaves behind her husband, 3 children – Karen (Mark), Lynn (Laurie), and Carl (Toni), 8 grandchildren – Sheena (Lowell), Nikki (Derrick), Leah (Luke), Levi, Spencer, Austin (Brooke), Justin (fiancé Jory), Jamie (fiancé Brennen), and 13 great grandchildren – Madden, Cash, Rawlins, Rowan, Grant, Garrett, Moxon, Raygan, Brigston, Bexley, Declan, Isla Ree, and Brynn.

Wilma French (1933-2023)

&nbsp;Daughter of Archie Gibbens and Nellie Ackerman Gibbens, Ellen Janeane Gibbens was born on December 13, 1932, in rural Sargent Nebraska.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 23, 2023.&nbsp;

&nbsp;Janeane spent most of her early years in Dry Valley and Weissert Communities.&nbsp;&nbsp;She received her K-10 education at Dry Valley School District.&nbsp;&nbsp;She finished her high school years at Sargent High School, graduating in 1950.&nbsp;

&nbsp;Janeane married William “Bud” Wykoff in August of 1950.&nbsp;&nbsp;From this union two daughters were born: Janella Clausen and Mary Cherry.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane and Bud lived and farmed in Gates and Weissert areas.&nbsp;&nbsp;After raising their daughters, they later divorced.&nbsp;

&nbsp;Janeane worked various jobs in the area over the years.&nbsp;&nbsp;Later in life, she decided to return to school and earn her cosmetology degree.&nbsp;&nbsp;She operated her own beauty shop in Mason City, and later in Sargent until she retired.&nbsp;&nbsp;Soon after, she moved to Key Villa in Sargent.&nbsp;&nbsp;She spent the rest of her life making memories with her many friends and family there.&nbsp;

&nbsp;During her lifetime she had many hobbies and interests.&nbsp;&nbsp;In her younger years, she played softball on the Weissert team, along with her daughter Mary.&nbsp;&nbsp;She loved to cook and bake with her daughter Janella.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane enjoyed working crossword and jigsaw puzzles in her spare time.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her favorite pastime was listening to music.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her favorite genre was Country Western.&nbsp;&nbsp;She had a vast knowledge of classic and contemporary music.&nbsp;&nbsp;She especially enjoyed having her morning coffee in the company of her beloved siblings, Shirley, and Danny.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane was a devout Christian and was a member of the Sargent United Methodist Church.&nbsp;&nbsp;Through her faith, she overcame many illnesses and hardships.&nbsp;

&nbsp;Janeane is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Janella and Lyle Clausen, Mary and Randy Cherry, brother and sister-in-Law - Danny and Diana Gibbens, sister and brother-in-Law – Shirley and Larry Young, grandchildren - Travis Rhoad, Cameron Clausen, and Molly Clausen, great grandchildren - Traven Claflin, Grant Clausen, Joel Clausen, and McKenzie Clausen, great great grandchildren – Riggs Claflin, Ledee Claflin, Sophia Foster, Deluka Clausen, and Bently Dobish, a lot of nieces and nephews and many friends, including a very special friend and confidant, Diane Dilsaver

 </figure>&nbsp;Daughter of Archie Gibbens and Nellie Ackerman Gibbens, Ellen Janeane Gibbens was born on December 13, 1932, in rural Sargent Nebraska.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 23, 2023.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane spent most of her early years in Dry Valley and Weissert Communities.&nbsp;&nbsp;She received her K-10 education at Dry Valley School District.&nbsp;&nbsp;She finished her high school years at Sargent High School, graduating in 1950.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane married William “Bud” Wykoff in August of 1950.&nbsp;&nbsp;From this union two daughters were born: Janella Clausen and Mary Cherry.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane and Bud lived and farmed in Gates and Weissert areas.&nbsp;&nbsp;After raising their daughters, they later divorced.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane worked various jobs in the area over the years.&nbsp;&nbsp;Later in life, she decided to return to school and earn her cosmetology degree.&nbsp;&nbsp;She operated her own beauty shop in Mason City, and later in Sargent until she retired.&nbsp;&nbsp;Soon after, she moved to Key Villa in Sargent.&nbsp;&nbsp;She spent the rest of her life making memories with her many friends and family there.&nbsp;&nbsp;During her lifetime she had many hobbies and interests.&nbsp;&nbsp;In her younger years, she played softball on the Weissert team, along with her daughter Mary.&nbsp;&nbsp;She loved to cook and bake with her daughter Janella.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane enjoyed working crossword and jigsaw puzzles in her spare time.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her favorite pastime was listening to music.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her favorite genre was Country Western.&nbsp;&nbsp;She had a vast knowledge of classic and contemporary music.&nbsp;&nbsp;She especially enjoyed having her morning coffee in the company of her beloved siblings, Shirley, and Danny.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane was a devout Christian and was a member of the Sargent United Methodist Church.&nbsp;&nbsp;Through her faith, she overcame many illnesses and hardships.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janeane is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Janella and Lyle Clausen, Mary and Randy Cherry, brother and sister-in-Law - Danny and Diana Gibbens, sister and brother-in-Law – Shirley and Larry Young, grandchildren - Travis Rhoad, Cameron Clausen, and Molly Clausen, great grandchildren - Traven Claflin, Grant Clausen, Joel Clausen, and McKenzie Clausen, great great grandchildren – Riggs Claflin, Ledee Claflin, Sophia Foster, Deluka Clausen, and Bently Dobish, a lot of nieces and nephews and many friends, including a very special friend and confidant, Diane Dilsaver&nbsp;Janeane is preceded in death by her parents - Archie and Nellie Gibbens, her brother, and his wife - Arlen and Verda Gibbens&nbsp;Funeral services will be Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 10:00 am at the United Methodist Church in Sargent, NE. Janeane Gibbens (1932-2023)

Archie Curtice of Cozad, NE went to meet his Heavenly Father on April 24, 2023 when he passed away peacefully at his home, at the age of 90.

Archie Gene Curtice was born in Willow Island, NE to Harold Guy and Myrtle (Lamb) Curtice on April 8th, 1933.&nbsp;Archie grew up on the farm his grandfather homesteaded in Willow Island.&nbsp; As a young boy, Archie attended country school, South 2, then later attended Cozad High School until the age of 16.&nbsp;

About that time, alfalfa dehydrators came to Willow Island, and Archie went to work for Lemmon Mills working long hours at the hay mill and also successfully completed and graduated from the Production School of the American Dehydrators Association.&nbsp;Though work was important, education was important too, so Archie later earned his GED.

Soon, love blossomed after Archie met Alice, while spending time at the candy counter hanging out with friends at the pharmacy in Gothenburg.&nbsp; Archie married Alice&nbsp;May&nbsp;Sabin on June 19, 1950, and together they started their first home in a small apartment in Willow Island.&nbsp;By this time the owners of Lemmon Mills in Willow Island got some new owners.&nbsp; The new owners also wanted to expand their business and build a feedlot.&nbsp; Ervin Burkholder and Ray Bates started Island Dehy, and when Archie was asked to join them, he said “let’s go for it”.&nbsp; That was the beginning of Archie’s career, where he managed Will-Feed Inc. until he retired at the age of 65.&nbsp; After a long, dedicated career, Archie was inducted into the Dawson County Cattlemen’s Hall of Fame in 2004 and honored as the Ag Employee of the Year in 2008.

Alice and Archie were blessed with 4 children whom they are very proud of, a daughter Connie, and three sons, Micheal, Steven, and Douglas Curtice.&nbsp; Archie and Alice were also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.&nbsp; Archie loved his family and always enjoyed the kids coming back home for the holidays, and especially to celebrate their birthdays.

After Archie retired, Alice and Archie liked to travel to places they hadn’t been before.&nbsp; They got to go on bus tours and see lots of God’s great country.&nbsp; Two of their favorite places to visit were Corpus Christi, Texas and Bull Head City, Arizona.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Archie was a hard worker, a good friend and a positive, fun, loving person who respected people and was also respected by many throughout his life.&nbsp; Archie enjoyed life and wanted everyone around him to enjoy life also.

Archie was a member of the Cozad Church of Christ where he also humbly served for many years as a deacon.

Archie was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Guy and Myrtle Curtice.&nbsp; His sister&nbsp;Mary Etta&nbsp;Curtice, and brother Harold Curtice.

William R. “Bill” Binegar, 87, of North Platte passed away April 21, 2023, at home. He was born August 29, 1935, to Simon and Wilda (Chase) Binegar in Sutherland.

Bill grew up in Sutherland and graduated from Sutherland High School with the class of 1954. He worked at Majors Gas Station in North Platte before enlisting in the United States Air Force. After his discharge, he returned to North Platte and married Karen Kohl on March 12, 1963. To this union, four children were born: Jeff, William, Denise, and Wilda and also welcomed a step-son Kevin into his life. Bill worked many years for cement products, having made over three million bricks in his career. Many of those bricks were used in The Mall, Voch-Tech building and Gentleman Power Station. He cleaned the VFW, Eagle’s Club and worked at the car wash at B &amp; Jeffers.

Bill was an animal lover and cared for his dogs with the utmost love. He enjoyed going to Rosebud and fishing. He enjoyed talking to people and never knew a stranger.

Survivors include children, Kevin Sutton of North Platte, Jeff Binegar of Alaska, William Binegar of North Platte, Denise Larsen of North Platte, Wilda (Theron) Rookstool of Eustis; grandchildren, Shelby Foster of Omaha, Elaine (Matt) Pelster of North Platte, Justin (Amy) Rookstool of North Platte, Josh Rookstool of Gothenburg, Jessica Binegar of North Platte, Julia (Matt) Kellie of North Platte, Jeremiah W. William 'Bill' Binegar (1935-2023)

Doris Ann Chesley Andersen, of Cozad, NE, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, April 23, 2023, at the Cozad Hospital at the age of 87. Doris and her husband, Steve, have been residents at Meadowlark Pointe in Cozad for the past 5 years.&nbsp;&nbsp;

&nbsp;Doris was born on April 2, 1936, in Grand Island, NE to Earl and Stella (Cruickshank) Chesley.&nbsp;Their family moved to Central City in 1941, where she was active both academically and in various athletics. She loved the support she received from her parents and 3 protective brothers. After graduation in 1954, she attended Kearney Teaching College where she received her two-year teaching certificate. Her first job was in Cozad teaching fifth&nbsp;grade. She was&nbsp;continuously thrilled when she came&nbsp;across any of her students while out in the community. As a young teacher, one evening she and her girlfriends were enjoying bowling in Cozad, when local boy Steve Andersen outwardly admired her left-handed bowling skills. The rest is history.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Steve and Doris were united in marriage on August 3, 1958, on a hot summer day in Central City. They resided in both Kearney and Lincoln to complete Steve’s education before settling in Arapahoe where they began their family with son Greg and daughter Jennifer. Shortly after, they moved to Denison, IA where Susan was born, and four years later, they moved home to Cozad to raise their family&nbsp;with the support and love of Steve’s parents, MG and&nbsp;Dorothy Andersen.

In 1971, with the&nbsp;encouragement and support of several local businessmen, Steve and Doris joyfully opened Andersen Studio, where together they worked side by side for 36 years. It was at Andersen Studio that Doris thrived as she loved serving and connecting with customers and their families. To this day, our family loves the stories we are told about their experiences through school, sports, activities, and wedding pictures that were taken.

Throughout her life, Doris was committed to teaching. She was involved with Girl Scouts, assisted with activities at the Cozad State School and enjoyed teaching Sunday School at the First Presbyterian Church. In addition to singing in the Church Choir, she participated in Presbyterian Women, the PEO Sisterhood Chapter IB, and the Cozad Community Concert Series. She discovered great joy supporting and mentoring young people through the local Teammates program, where her relationship with a young Alexandra Brown enhanced both their lives.

Family was always first to Doris. She is survived by her loving and doting husband, Steve, of almost 65 years.&nbsp; Amazing son Gregory Jon of Oxford, and daughters Jennifer and Jim Smith of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Susan and Scott Kuhlman, of Cozad.

Doris will be most dearly missed by her amazing grandchildren, Ellen and husband Kevin Cunningham of Bloomington, MN, Audrey Kuhlman of North Platte, and Matthew Smith and Stephen Smith of Highlands Ranch, CO.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her only great grandchild, Henry Cunningham was a special joy this past year for Doris and our entire family.&nbsp;

She leaves behind her youngest brother Dean and his wife Ann Chesley, of Columbus, along with many special nieces and nephews who have always held a special place in her heart.

Doris is preceded in death by her father and mother, Earl and Stella Chesley, and older brothers and their wives, Billy and Earlene of San Jose, CA and Dale and Margaret of Plattsmouth, NE.

Doris Ann Andersen (1936-2023)

Delphine Leilla Anthony, 90, of Lexington passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Ridgeway Senior Living in Lexington, Nebraska.

She was born on October 24, 1932, at home in Lincoln County, near Farnam, Nebraska, to Arthur and Edna (Gaibler) Bick. She was confirmed in the Methodist Church in Farnam. Delphine graduated as the valedictorian from Farnam High School in 1950, and that fall began her teaching career at a rural school near Lexington. She attended Kearney State Teachers College in the summers and taught school in the winters. On June 20, 1954, Delphine married the love of her life, Keith Anthony in Farnam, Nebraska. Two sons were blessed to this union: Scott LaVerne and Thomas Charles Anthony. They moved to the Anthony farm north of Lexington in 1959. They farmed and Keith opened Keith’s Farm Shop in 1980. They received the Nebraska Pioneer Farm Award in 2002.

Delphine joined the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington on October 3, 1954, and was ordained a deacon on January 11, 1970.&nbsp; She was the Sunday School superintendent and the Vocation Bible School Director for many years, a circle leader, a Bethel Bible Study teacher, a member of Southside Bible Study, and served on many committees in the church. She was presented with an Honorary Life Membership in 1995 by the Presbyterian Women.

She was a receptionist in a doctor’s office for several years and then was asked to join the staff at First Presbyterian Church, first as the church treasurer and then as the office manager. She served for nineteen years and retired in 1998. In 1999, she helped organize the church library and was church librarian for many years. Delphine was an avid reader.

Delphine was a charter member of Mrs. Jaycees, a member of P.E.O. Chapter HV, the neighborhood extension club and Kensington. Delphine and Keith were members of the Polio Survivors Association, a pinochle club, and a supper club.&nbsp;&nbsp;They were members of the Goldenrod Antique Car Club, where she was the club historian for many years. They were lifetime members of the Dawson County Historical Society and served as volunteers at the Dawson County Museum.

Delphine was devoted to her husband, with whom she shared 55 years, and to her family and friends. She loved hosting get-togethers, whether it was for members of her clubs or for her friends and family.

Those left to honor her memory are: her sons, Scott (Jo) Anthony of Sacramento, California and Thomas (Tina) Anthony of Chandler, Arizona; her grandchildren, Thomas C. (Jessica) Anthony II, Andrew (Andrea) Anthony, and Kira (Luke) Romens; great-grandchildren, Addison Anthony, Aubree Anthony, Clara Joy Anthony, Aedan Neff and Grayson Romens; and her sisters-in-law, Ardyce Bick of Moorefield, Nebraska, Pat Beans of Phoenix, Arizona, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Besides her parents, Delphine was preceded in death by her beloved, husband, Keith in 2010, brother, Harold Bick, an infant sister, Esther, brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Charlene Mays, Verl and Kathleen Hatch, Floyd Beans, and granddaughter Norah Neff.

There will be no visitation as the family is honoring Delphine’s wish for cremation.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington, with Reverend Eddie Mariel, officiating.

Inurnment will be at the Hewitt Cemetery north of Lexington.

 </figure>Delphine Leilla Anthony, 90, of Lexington passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Ridgeway Senior Living in Lexington, Nebraska.She was born on October 24, 1932, at home in Lincoln County, near Farnam, Nebraska, to Arthur and Edna (Gaibler) Bick. She was confirmed in the Methodist Church in Farnam. Delphine graduated as the valedictorian from Farnam High School in 1950, and that fall began her teaching career at a rural school near Lexington. She attended Kearney State Teachers College in the summers and taught school in the winters. On June 20, 1954, Delphine married the love of her life, Keith Anthony in Farnam, Nebraska. Two sons were blessed to this union: Scott LaVerne and Thomas Charles Anthony. They moved to the Anthony farm north of Lexington in 1959. They farmed and Keith opened Keith’s Farm Shop in 1980. Darren Lee Findley, 59, of St. Libory, died Thursday, April 6, 2023, as the result of a vehicle accident. 
 Service and celebration of Darren’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on 
Saturday, April 29, 2023, at All Faiths Funeral Home. Burial will be in 
Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 9:00 
a.m. until the time of the service. Darren was born December 16, 
1963, in Grand Island, the son of Don and Ahlene (Wiese) Findley. He 
grew up in Grand Island and attended GISH. For over 20 years, 
Darren was employed by Mid-Nebraska Disposal. He had a small cow-calf 
operation that he was very proud of and had just started the calving 
season. He also enjoyed professional wrestling, but especially spending 
time with his grandchildren. Those that cherish his memory include 
his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Serena Findley of North Platte 
and their three children, Maddisyn, Noah and Lucas; daughters, Maeda 
Findley of North Platte, Michelle Findley (Wesley) (and their daughter,

Darren Lee Findley (1963-2023)

Duane Stephen Lindell, 59, of Thornton, CO, passed away April 19, 2023, of natural causes, at his home at Lake McConaughy, in Lemoyne, NE. Duane was born on February 16, 1964, in Altus, OK, to Daryle W. and Dorothy M. (Halverson) Lindell. He graduated from Griffith High School in Indiana, where he was a talented athlete and played tennis. As a young man, his love of skiing took him to Keystone Resort, CO. It was there that he met his soulmate of 34 years, Julie Paluka. Duane and Julie were proud parents to their beloved black Lab, Sammi, who they were lucky enough to have for 15 years. During his time in Summit County, CO, he racked up victories, including multiple Keystone Tennis Club Men's League tournament wins and multiple Summit County Softball Men's League and Co-Ed wins. In one year-end Men's final tournament, he knocked five over-the-fence home runs in one game. Within a couple of years of taking up golf, he aced a Par 3 in the Breckinridge Men's League year-end tournament. He was also an entrepreneur who owned/operated Lindell Pool and Spa in Frisco, CO for more than ten years. After selling his business in 2010, fishing became his passion. He was the first to note that there was a difference between fishing and "catching." While he did catch many trophy-sized fish, he was happy to be mostly fishing with his buddies. It was his love of fishing that brought Duane and Julie to Lake McConaughy. They purchased a home in Lemoyne, nicknamed Husker Hideaway, in 2015. Duane was happiest at the lake. The friendships and community he found there meant the world to him. Duane always let the people he cared about know that he loved them. A text, a hug, or an act of service were his trademarks. He liked to cook for people and loved sharing recipes. His cheesecake was legend! Duane was also an audiophile and home theater expert. He shared his expertise with anyone in need of "tremendous sound" and helped his friends find the best components at the best price. Duane never said goodbye in a conversation; but always wished for you to "Be Good!" He was kind. He was generous. He was beautiful. Duane was preceded in death by his grandparents. Janice Pearl Anderson, 87, of North Platte, Nebraska, passed away April 25, 2023 at Linden Court in North Platte.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was born on November 23, 1935 to Elzie and Esther (Ball) Hardin.

Janice grew up in Kearney, Nebraska where she graduated from Kearney High School.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In 1953 while living in Kearney she married Delbert R. Anderson; they enjoyed over 69 years of happiness together.&nbsp;&nbsp;The couple moved to Axtell where Delbert farmed.&nbsp;&nbsp;Later they moved to Loomis where Delbert opened Andy’s Repair Mechanic Shop, where Janice provided of all the bookkeeping and raised their 3 children Cheryl, Richard and Roger.&nbsp;&nbsp;After retirement they moved to Apache Junction, Arizona for many years before moving to North Platte to be closer to family.&nbsp;&nbsp;Janice was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was very active in her church wherever she was.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was an excellent quilter, making quilts for all of her friends and family.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Janice will always be remembered as an excellent wife, mother and grandmother, always putting her family first.&nbsp;

Janice Pearl Anderson (1935-2023)

Kimberly Dawn (Gautier) Jones, age 59, of Pukwana, South Dakota, formerly of Culbertson, Nebraska passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at her home in Pukwana.

Kim was born May 11, 1963 in Ventura, California to parents Vidal Duane and Alice Gaye (Johnson) Capps. The family moved to Denver, Colorado where Kim grew up and attended George Washington High School.

Kim met Darell Gautier in Denver and the couple were married on December 23, 1994.

Kim drove countless miles trucking around the country with Darell. They also shared a love for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. Although Kim didn’t have any children of her own, she loved her family and her dogs were her babies. She also enjoyed a friendly game of Bunco with family and friends.

On January 29, 2022 Kim married Jim Jones in Culbertson, Nebraska and followed him back to Pukwana. They enjoyed traveling and spending time together along with the company of their dogs.

Kim was preceded in death by her husband Darell in 2017, and her parents.

The family moved to Denver, Colorado where Kim grew up and attended George Washington High School.Kim met Darell Gautier in Denver and the couple were married on December 23, 1994.Kim drove countless miles trucking around the country with Darell. They also shared a love for Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. Although Kim didn’t have any children of her own, she loved her family and her dogs were her babies. Ryan Martinez, 54, of Oshkosh passed away early Friday morning April 14, 2023 at his home in Oshkosh.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am MST Saturday April 29, 2023 at the Oshkosh Community Wesleyan Church with Pastor Bruce Neal officiating.&nbsp;&nbsp;Burial with military honors will be Monday, May 1 at 1:00pm CST at Ft McPherson Nation Cemetery near Maxwell, Nebraska.

Visitation with the family present will be held Friday evening from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Holechek Bondegard Funeral Home in Oshkosh.&nbsp;

A gathering of family and friends will follow the service at 3:00 pm at the Eagles Club in Oshkosh.

Ryan was born June 18th, 1968 in Denver, Colorado. Following his birth, he was adopted by Maria Adella and Roberto Julian Martinez. He grew up in Brighton, Colorado with his siblings. Growing up, he loved being outdoors, fishing, and playing sports. He attended Brighton High School, where he graduated with the class of 1986.&nbsp;

8 days before his 18th birthday, Ryan chose to serve his country and joined the US Army as a 13B: Cannon Crew Member (aka Artillery). After completing Basic Training and AIT, Ryan was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. Earning his Airborne Jump Wings and being part of the 82nd Airborne Division was always something Ryan was very proud of.&nbsp;&nbsp;

After getting out of the Army, he met his first wife and moved to Florida. It was there he found his love for ocean life, especially deep sea fishing. While living in the South, he had three boys. During this time, Ryan tried out a few different careers, including working on a shrimp boat, cleaning barnacles from off-shore oil rigs, and even tried out being a baker. But then he found his true calling, cooking.&nbsp;

In 2006, Ryan and his three boys moved to Oshkosh, Nebraska. Ryan started working at the Cabela’s Return Center in 2008. It was there he met the love of his life, Dana. Ryan and Dana’s families quickly became one. They married in 2015. A few years later in 2018, they decided to make their dreams come true and opened a restaurant of their own. Being the proud veteran he is, he named the restaurant The Patriot Grill. From their new business, he selflessly served his community of Oshkosh, Nebraska. The Patriot Grill was his dream come true. He adorned the place with a military themed setting and proudly displayed patches collected from his family and patrons alike. For fun, he was an avid golfer who spent his Mondays golfing at the local country club.

Ryan was a loving and selfless father, a cherished husband and a fantastic grandfather. He loved spending time with his family and teaching his grandchildren new things. Ryan had a heart of gold and loved helping anyone he could.

David James Pangus (April 13, 2023)

&nbsp; LaVern Poppe passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, peacefully at his home. LaVern was born on December 24, 1932, at Julesburg, CO, to Otto and Elva (Lipps) Poppe. He was the third of five children. He attended Country School and then high school in Perkins County, graduating in 1950. He enlisted in the Air Force and served in the Korean War as a radio operator. LaVern returned to Grant and married Pauline Boehmer on February 9, 1958. To this union were born five children, Maria, Leland, Rhonda, Brian, and Alan. LaVern farmed with his brothers Orville and Lawrence and built houses with Fred Upright. In 1974 he gave up contracting and opened Poppe's Tax Service. He continued farming with family and working taxes with his wife, Pauline, and daughter Maria. LaVern loved gardening and connecting with people through social media and phone calls. He became the Poppe family coordinator after Pauline's passing on his birthday on December 24, 2000. He continued the Christmas scrabble tradition and took pride in maintaining a tight family. His social media skills (E-Harmony.com) introduced him to Wanda Eilert, and they were married on January 25, 2005, in the hospital waiting room in Wichita, KS. With this union, he was blessed with the addition of 10 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Wanda and LaVern enjoyed time in Newton, KS, and Grant. Poppe's Bed and Breakfast was founded in 2006, and the guests became part of LaVern's circle of friends. LaVern took pride in the building of the fellowship hall at Zion Lutheran Church. He was active in the Grant Lion's Club and enjoyed taking part in the Veteran's Day activities. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; his children Maria Eichner (Kim) of Ogallala, Leland Poppe (Cathy) of North Platte, Rhonda Menghini (Todd) of Scottsbluff, Brian Poppe (Kristen) of Falls City; daughter-in-law Michele Poppe of Elkhorn; 13 Grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. LaVern was preceded in death by his parents, wife Pauline, son Alan, grandchildren Jeremy and Megan, brothers Lawrence and Orville. Miles Dennis Robertson Jr., 68, of Quartzsite, AZ, passed away Friday, April 21st, 2023 in Ogallala, NE.

Miles was born in Arkansas City, KS on January 6th, 1955 to Miles and Helen (Punches) Robertson. He was the youngest of eight children. He grew up in Arkansas City and attended school and college there. Miles was in law enforcement, then married Sherri Summers. To this union, two children were born; Robert and Shiloh Robertson. He then remarried Brecinda Carter on February 20th, 1987. They raised the children together and were happily married for 38 years. They are also blessed to have a wonderful daughter-in-law, Brandi Robertson. They adopted their first born grandson, Patrick, and have 5 wonderful grandchildren; Patrick, Moriah, Alexander, Emmaleen, and Nicholas.&nbsp;

Miles worked at several establishments through out the years, including Rodeo Meat Packing Plant, Rusty Nail Steakhouse, and The Daily Oklahoman. He retired in 1997 due to vision problems. He was also a member of the Church of Christ in Ogallala, NE and Quartzsite, AZ.&nbsp; In the summer of 2019, Miles and his wife sold everything and started living their dream to travel and see as many places as possible. They traveled to 28 states, Arizona was Mile's favorite.&nbsp; During their travels, they met many new people they call friends. Now his journey is heaven bound to be with more family and friends. He will be missed and loved by so many.

Miles is preceded in death by; his parents, Miles and Helen Robertson; two sisters Wanita White and Darmel Barker; and two brothers Marnen Robertson, and Carmen Robertson.

Survivors include; his wife, Brecinda Robertson; his children, Robert (Brandi) Robertson III of Quincy, IL and Shiloh Robertson of Stillwater, OK; his grandchildren, Patrick Gualco, Moriah Gualco, Alexander Robertson, Emmaleen Robertson, and Nicholas Robertson; his brother, Loyal (Marge) Robertson; his sisters, Arleta Moorman and Mylene Sayers and many nieces and nephews.

Miles Robertson Jr. (1955-2023)

Donald LaVerne Gaudreault, 76, of Hurricane, UT, formerly of Farnam, NE, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2023, in St. George, UT. He was born on June 24, 1946, in Lexington, NE, to Marcus and Zelma Gaudreault.

Don spent his early years in Curtis, NE, where he delivered the North Platte Telegraph and set bowling ball pins by hand. He later moved to Farnam, NE, where he attended high school and participated in all sports, band, and choir. Don graduated high school in 1964 and attended the University of Nebraska Kearney before transferring to the University of North Colorado in Greeley, CO.

In 1965, he married Janice Slack, and together they had three children: Betty, Marc, and Tony. Don worked various jobs to support his family, including, Snap On tool dealer, Weld County Colorado Sheriff Posse, diesel mechanic, parts manager, and store manager. However, his true passion was working with his registered Angus cattle, farming and taking care of the land for future generations.

Don enjoyed going to stock car races, collecting Roseville pottery, model trains, and watching bald eagles. He also loved listening to the sound of trains passing by. Don was an member of the United Methodist Church in Farnam, NE, where he sang in the choir in his younger years.

The last eight years, Don and Janice spent their winters in Hurricane, UT, and summers in Nebraska. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Zelma Gaudreault, his in-law parents, Sanford (John) and Betty Slack, his brother-in-law, John Slack, and his cousin, Marcus Del Gaudreault.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janice Gaudreault, his children, Betty (TO Loseke) Gaudreault of Paxton, NE, Marc (Oksana) Gaudreault of Castle Rock, CO, and Tony (Sharon Gradwohl - San Mateo, CA) Gaudreault of Hurricane, UT, his grandchildren, Austin (TY) Dansie of Eureka, UT, Jaylen Gaudreault of St. George, UT, Landon Gaudreault of Pancia, NV, Sophie and Hannah Gaudreault of Castle Rock, CO, and his great-granddaughter, Paxton Dansie of Eureka, UT. He is also survived by his step-grandchildren, Donavan, Declan, and Heidi Gradwohl of San Mateo, CA, and his beloved dog, Bernie.

Don will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his cattle and the land, and his passion for collecting pottery and model trains. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.&nbsp;

Donald Gaudreault (1946-2023)

Abby Foster, age 60, of North Platte, passed away at Great Plains Health on December 28, 2022.

Abby was born to John and Dorothy Foster on August 28, 1962, at North
 Platte where she grew up. Following her school years she moved to 
Harrison, AR, and married Ken Bliss. They started a family and later 
divorced.

Abby worked in various jobs in the Midwest before returning to North 
Platte in 1998. Here she worked as a driver for Armadillo then did 
custodian work at Mid-Plains Community College and the Rec Center and 
later worked for the City Parks Department.

Abby enjoyed riding her motorcycle (a hobby she took up after her divorce) and she loved her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Foster; 
brothers, John Foster, Jr., Kent Foster, Joel Foster, Steven Kelsey and 
Gerald Kelsey; and sister-in-law, Brenda Foster.

Survivors include her special friend, Mike Adamson of North Platte; 
children, David (Taesha) Bliss, Michelle (Herbie) Gipson, Jessica 
(Robert) Bullington and Teresa Bliss, all of Harrison, AR; 
grandchildren, Lewis, Matthew, Sydney, Jasmine and Kendra; sisters, Mary
 (Don) Goosey of North Platte and Anne (Paul) McQueen of Olny, TX; 
brothers, Mark Foster of Lincoln, Robert (Loni) Kelsey and Tom (Meri) 
Kelsey of North Platte, and Jack (Susan) Kelsey of Little Rock, AR; her 
nieces and nephews including Sara Foster and Nathan Foster; as well as 
many extended family members.

Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 
2023, at Harvest Christian Fellowship.&nbsp; The memorial book may be signed

Ageo se unió en matrimonio con el amor de su vida, Juana Ortiz. Cinco hijos fueron bendecidos a esta unión: Miguel, Rosalva, Uriel, Odalis, y Nallely.

Ageo era un hombre muy trabajador. Trabajó durante varios años en Tyson, y en el centro de distribución de Walmart en North Platte. A Ageo le encantaba probar nuevas recetas y experimentar con la comida para compartir con su familia. Ageo Feliciano Martinez Cruz, “El Chanza”, 64, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

He was born in Ayoquezco De Aldama, Oaxaca to Raymundo Martinez and Elpidia Cruz. Ageo moved to California and moved again in 2001, to Lexington, Nebraska. Ageo was united in marriage to the love of his life, Juana Ortiz. Five children were blessed to this union: Miguel, Rosalva, Uriel, Odalis, and Nallely.

Ageo was a very hardworking man. He worked for several years in Tyson as well as the Walmart distribution center in North Platte. Ageo loved trying new recipes and getting to experiment with food to share with his family. He also loved learning new things, whether it was playing an instrument and singing or painting and drawing. He always had to stay busy and would be found outdoors most days. Ageo was a family man and adored spending time with his family, having cook outs and watching his favorite soccer team, the Chivas or the National Mexico team.

Those left to honor his memory are his loving wife, Juana Martinez of Lexington, Nebraska; his children, Rosalva Martinez and her husband Carlos Godoy of Lexington, Uriel Martinez and his wife Rosalina Garcia of Crete, Odalis Martinez and her husband Juan Carlos of Lexington and Nallely Martinez of Lexington; grandchildren, Fredy, Adrian, Guadalupe, Alma, Uriel Jr, Ana, Giselle, Fatima and Ivan, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Other than his parents, Ageo is preceded in death by his son, Miguel Martinez, daughter-in-law Patricia Perez and grandchildren Miguel jr. and Rosa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Father Jose Chavez, officiating.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 24, 2023, with family receiving friends from 3-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home with a Rosary to follow at 7p.m.

Burial will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery following mass.

Ageo Feliciano Martinez Cruz (1958-2023)

 L. Grieser, 78, of Lawton, Okla., passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, in 
Oklahoma City after a battle with heart disease.&nbsp; She was with her granddaughter and great grandkids.

No services are scheduled. The family will hold a private family interment in Bristow, Oklahoma.

Diane L. Grieser was born November 1, 1944, in Spokane, Washington, to George and Georgia (Rambo) Tucker.&nbsp; Her family moved to Lawton in 1948, where she attended school and graduated from Lawton High school.&nbsp; She married Robert Grieser in 1966 and they moved to North Platte, Nebraska, where she raised a family of two boys and two girls.&nbsp; She moved back to Lawton in 1991 to take care of her ailing mother.&nbsp; 

She
 is survived by her son Kevin and wife Cheryl Grieser of Kearney, 
Nebraska, daughter Kathy Hoadley of Lawton, Oklahoma, daughter Karen 
Grieser of North Platte, Nebraska, and son Kirk and wife Rachel Grieser 
of Lawton, Oklahoma.&nbsp; She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She
 is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant sister Georgia E. 
Tucker, brother Charles Tucker and son-in-law Mark Hoadley.

Diane L. Grieser (1944-2023)

Dolores L. Walter, 88, of Cheyenne, Wyo., passed away on April 3, 2023, at 
Cheyenne Regional Medical center surrounded by her loving family. 
She was born on February 12, 1935, in Joliet, Illinois, with her twin 
sister to parents named Powell. Her birth mother passed away after 
delivering the twins. They were adopted by Michael Vincent and Genevieve
 Dooley. She married Harry A. Walter on June 12, 1954, in La Salle, 
Illinois. They moved to Westminster, Colorado in 1961. Dolores was a
 cook at Ranum High School in Denver for numerous years. She was also a 
volunteer at her church and sang in the church choir. She delivered 
meals for meals on wheels in North Platte, Nebraska. After her husband 
passed away, she moved to North Platte from Colorado. She spent her time
 as a volunteer for senior services, meals on wheels, and her church St.
 Patrick’s in North Platte. Dolores moved to Cheyenne in 2012 where she 
attended St. Mary’s Cathedral and became involved in numerous activities
 in the church. She loved the Denver Broncos and Notre Dame sports. 
 She is survived by her son, four grandchildren, and nine great 
grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by her birth and adoptive 
parents, twin sister, husband, and her son Vincent. A funeral mass will be held Monday, April 24th at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Cheyenne.
