Terry Lee Correll, age 62, of Tryon, Nebraska took his last breath in his home lovingly surrounded by his immediate family at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020, but was given September 20, 2020 as an official date of death.&nbsp; His body was worn out from a courageous battle with cancer.

Terry was born on December 31, 1957 in Alliance, Nebraska to Lenard 'Rusty' Correll and Rita (Dobbins) Correll.&nbsp; He attended elementary school in Chappell, Nebraska through the 4th grade.&nbsp; The family then moved to Tryon, Nebraska where he attended school at McPherson County through his sophomore year.&nbsp; He finished his junior and senior year in high school at Stapleton Public Schools in Stapleton, Nebraska where he graduated with the Class of 1976.

He furthered his education by attending Chadron State College where he rodeoed collegiately and professionally, earning his pro-card early on and winning 2 College Regional Championships.&nbsp; He completed college with a degree in Accounting.

After a period of managing the Crawford, Nebraska Sale Barn and continuing to rodeo professionally, he moved home from Texas at the height of his rodeo career to help on the family ranch during his father's illness.&nbsp; Around 1986, Terry partnered with Tom Wiplinger to own and operate T &amp; T Rodeo Company for several years.&nbsp; They held nightly rodeos in North Platte, Nebraska and supplied stock for high school and amateur rodeos in the area.&nbsp; Fun fact:&nbsp; right before Terry 'hung up his chaps' as a pro rodeo competitor, he rode all three of the barebacks he drew and won the Stapleton, Arthur and Hyannis rodeos - ending on a winning streak.&nbsp; It was around this time that Terry also 'hung his shingle' at Ringgold, Nebraska as a professional horse trainer where he trained horses in all disciplines and held training clinics, but later, on the ranch, he would specialize in training cutting horses.&nbsp; He served as an officer for the Western Nebraska Cutting Horse Association and the Cutting Horse Association of Nebraska.

In 1997, Terry met Julie on a blind date, set up through a mutual friend, Dave Kapperman.&nbsp; They quickly discovered they shared the 'love of a good horse' and she moved from&nbsp; Lincoln, Nebraska to the Sandhills, with a teaching job, so they could be together more easily.&nbsp; Terry purchased a ranch at that time where they resided, marrying Julie on June 5, 1999.&nbsp; In the last 20 some years, Terry fulfilled his dreams of training and showing the best horses and raising a family.&nbsp; Anyone who visited with Terry would soon learn that some of his fondest memories included traveling the world with his family building their Xyngular business, hunting the best buck, ranching &amp; rodeo life, suporting his daughters' activities, including teaching them how to ride and play basketball and hauling them many miles up and down the road to cutting shows.&nbsp; He was always so proud of their accomplishments.

Terry's faith in God's 'perfect plan' was important to him as he witnessed to everyone he met through his actions and his words.&nbsp; He and Julie were in fact re-baptized in the Dismal River early in their marriage.&nbsp; He was always very warm and genuine, never met a stranger, and never had an enemy.&nbsp; He was generous with his abilities and talents, time, resources, compliments, and friendship.&nbsp; He was a true cowboy, Godly family man, and his advice and opinions were sought after and highly respected by others.

Survivors include his wife, Julie and his daughters Gracie, Faith, and Hope Correll, all of Tryon, Nebraska; his mother Rita Correll of Tryon Nebraska; his brother, Kent (Cindy) Correll of Forth Worth, Texas; sisters Shelly (Mark) Lovitt of Tryon, Nebraska and Deanne (Brad) Jenkins of Omaha, Nebraska; brother-in-laws Rod (Linda) Goes of Wymore, Nebraska, Stan Goes of Lincoln, Nebraska, Bruce Goes of Wymore, Nebraska, Mark (Patricia) Goes of Odell, Nebraska and Scott (Stacy) Goes of Cortland, Nebraska; along with numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins whom he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rusty; his grandparents Ray &amp; Margaret Dobbins and Frank &amp; Eva Correll; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernard &amp; Velda Goes.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time at McPherson County High School in Tryon, Nebraska with Rev. Jim Streicker from Bethel Evangelical Free Church and Pastor Jon Parsons from Ringgold Free Methodist Church officiating.&nbsp; Visitation and book signing will be from noon to 8:00 p.m. with card reading and memory sharing from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Adams &amp; Swanson Funeral Home at 421 West 4th Street in North Platte, Nebraska.&nbsp; A memorial has been established to support the children's educational funding, or a donation may be made for the family's choice to be determined at a later date.

Terry Lee Correll  (1957-2020)

Karen Marie Sandberg, age 82, of Sutherland, Nebraska passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday, September 21, 2020.

Karen was born on the family farm southwest of Sutherland, Nebraska to Clarence 'Harry' and Helen (Jochum) Goedert on May 18, 1938.&nbsp; She attended country school to the 8th grade, then Sutherland High School, graduating in 1956.&nbsp; Karen went on to Kearney State College and received her teaching certificate after a year.&nbsp; She taught in country schools around Paxton and Sutherland, and then at Sutherland Public Schools for a year.

On December 26, 1959, Karen was united in marriage to Robert Lee Sandberg at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sutherland.&nbsp; The couple made their home in Sutherland and raised four children.&nbsp; They lived on the farm from 1965-1982, then moved into town so the kids wouldn't have to go so far for their activities.

Karen devoted her life to her husband, kids and grandkids.&nbsp; She helped with harvesting and was very supportive of the kids' activities.&nbsp; Karen started her cheerleading career in high school and continued throughout her entire life, cheering for her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids at their many events.&nbsp; She always had a hot meal ready for everyone at noon and 6 p.m., and they all knew not to be late!&nbsp; Her grandkids and great-grandkids loved going to Grandma's house for special times.&nbsp; She was even called 'Grandma Karen' by many others.

Along with her family, Karen was dedicated to her church and community.&nbsp; She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and made countless signs, cookies, and posters to celebrate kids in the community.&nbsp; Karen was an amazing, loving woman who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; her parents, harry and Helen Goedert; and sisters Joan Eshleman and Henrietta 'Henri' Dombrowski.

Karen is survived by her children, Robert 'Rob' (Jennifer) Sandberg of Sutherland, Nebraska, Renee (Mark) Miller of Grand Island, Nebraska, Melinda 'Mindy' (Trevor) Howard of Overland Park, Kansas, and Melissa 'Missy' (Troy) Hopping of Sutherland, Nebraska; 12 grandkids, Ryan, Sara (Dustin), Abby (Ethan), Katie (Kyle), Alex, Marley, Alexa (Ben), Joli, Erica, Luke, Reagan, and Blake; 6 great-grandkids, Emma, Charlie, Maverick, Kruz, Jett, and Hadlee; her sister, Linda 'Cookie' (Ron) Schroeder of St. Ann, Illinois; as well as other family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Odean Colonial Chapel at C &amp; Sycamore in North Platte, Nebraska, which is in charge of arrangements.&nbsp; Visitation will also be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sutherland, Nebraska on Thursday, September 24, 2020 beginning at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.&nbsp; Masks are required at the church.

Karen Marie Sandbery  (1938-2020)

Linda D. Skinner, of Lemoyne, Nebraska passed away on September 16, 2020 at her home.

Linda was born on July 1, 1946 at Denver, Colorado to Fred and Lillian Murrell.&nbsp; She graduated from North High School in Denver.

On February 26, 1973, Linda married Don Skinner and the couple made their home in Denver.

Linda worked in computer data entry for the Denver Post and Blue Cross and Blue Shield before moving to Lake McConaughy nine years ago to retire.

Linda loved spending time at the lake.&nbsp; She lived to fish, and did so often.&nbsp; In the time she and Don lived in the area, they made many enjoyable memories and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Larry and Johnny.

Survivors include her husband, Don; daughter, Lisa; three sons, David, Donny, and Dwain; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a cousin, David (Diane Tining) Cutsinger; and many friends.

Linda D. Skinner  (1946-2020)

Harlan G. Garringer, age 77, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at his home in Lexington.

He was born on September 25, 1942 in Oconto, Nebraska to Walter and Effie (Elston) Garringer.&nbsp; He graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the Class of 1961.&nbsp; He was united in marriage to Sandra K. Childres on June 28, 1963 in Cedar Creek, Nebraska, where they made their home.&nbsp; To this union, two sons were born:&nbsp; James and William.

While living in Louisville, Nebraska, Harlan worked construction with this brother-in-law, Don Sturgeon, until moving to the Elm Creek-Lexington, Nebraska area where he worked for the Kearney Packing Plant and Cornland Dressed Beef.

Harlan dearly loved camping, hunting, and fishing with his family and friends.&nbsp; Johnson Lake Inlet was his second home where he spent many hours fishing.&nbsp; He was an avid Nebraska Husker fan and loved to tailgate and attend the home games in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Harlan is survived by two sons: James and wife Sheli of Lexington, Nebraska and William and wife Kristy of Elm Creek, Nebraska; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers: Jerry of Holdrege, Nebraska and Keith of Kearney, Nebraska; two sisters: Thelma Sturgeion and Mary Garringer both of Omaha, Nebraska; brothers-in-law Dale Hild of Lexington, Nebraska, Mike Crow of Omaha, Nebraska, and Jamie Trampe of Elm Creek, Nebraska.&nbsp; He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Harlan is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Fay Crow, Rhonda Tramep, and Rachel Hild; a sister-in-law, Connie Garringer; and a brother-in-law, Don Sturgeon.

There will be no visitation, as the family is honoring Harlan's wish for cremation.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery east of Lexington, Nebraska with the Pastor Rex Adams officiating.

A memorial has been established in Harlan's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for a later designation.

Anna Marie Howell of Cozad, Nebraska passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at her home surrounded by family, at the age of 63.&nbsp; Anna was born on July 21, 1957 at Cozad Nebraska to Dr. John and Betty (Lafferty) Devine.&nbsp; She graduated from Cozad High School with the Class of 1975.&nbsp; Anna attended the College of St. Mary's in Omaha, Nebraska and obtained an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy.

On September 20, 1978, Anna married Gary Howell in North Platte, Nebraska.&nbsp; The couple moved to Garland, Texas.&nbsp; Their union was blessed with four children:&nbsp; Erin, James, Suzy and Anthony.&nbsp; She worked as a Respiratory Therapist while in Texas.&nbsp; Anna and Gary moved back to Cozad in 1992 to take care of Anna's mother until her passing in 1998.

Anna worked at Southview Manor as the activities coordinator, in Kearney, Nebraska as a Respiratory Therapist, and in 2010 in Cozad doing Sleep Studies.&nbsp;

Anna enjoyed antiquing, traveling, and football, spending time with family and spoiling her grandchildren.&nbsp;

Anna was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Devine.

Lea Dell served as the Custer County Treasurer for 30 years.&nbsp; She was active on the Melham Auxiliary Rummage Sale.&nbsp; On September 10, 2004, she married Robert "Bob" Collier.&nbsp; The couple enjoyed Country Western music and attended many area concerts.&nbsp; Lea Dell enjoyed gardening, quilting, auctions, baking cookies and cakes on a Saturday, and traveling.

Forrest "Frosty" Ferguson  (1926-2020)

Having blessed her with 97 years, 2 months, and 21 days of earthly life, God called Bonnie Jane (Loop) Hager home to Him and her eternal life on Monday, September 14, 2020.&nbsp; Bonnie passed away peacefully in her home with her family beside her.

Bonnie was born on June 24, 1923, north of Stratton, Nebraska on the Loop family homestead.&nbsp; She was the youngest child of George A. and Melissa M. "Bess" (Crawford) Loop.&nbsp; She attended country school and Stratton High School, graduating in 1940.

Bonnie caught the eye of Lloyd "Shorty" Hager at a local dance.&nbsp; They were married on August 31, 1940 in Oberlin, Kansas.&nbsp; The young couple began their married life living and working for various farmers in Hitchcock and Dundy Counties in Nebraska.

In 1941, they moved to Nevada and Missouri, following Lloyd's family who had relocated there from the Max, Nebraska area.&nbsp; On July 20, 1941, Bonnie &amp; Lloyd welcomed their daughter, Betty Elaine, into the family.

When Lloyd entered the Navy and began his service during World War II, Bonnie and Betty followed him to bases in Louisiana and Texas.&nbsp; During his overseas deployment, Bonnie, with her young daughter, returned to live with family in Stratton, Nebraska.&nbsp; In the years following the War, the family lived in Denver, Colorado; Stratton, Trenton and McCook in Nebraska; and Eugene, Oregon.&nbsp; During the time spent in McCook, Bonnie attended the Beauty Academy and received her cosmetology license.

In June of 1949, Bonnie opened her beauty shop in their home on the south end of Trenton, Nebraska's main street.&nbsp; She enjoyed caring for her customers' needs for nearly 50 years, retiring in 1998.&nbsp; Bonnie took time away from her business to do some traveling with Lloyd and to follow the activities of her granddaughters.

Bonnie was a past member of the Professional Business Women's Association and had served on the Eldorado Manor board.&nbsp; Lloyd and Bonnie moved to Imperial, Nebraska in July 1998, where they enjoyed their remaining years with their family.

Preceding Bonnie in death where her parents; parents-in-law, Claude and Clara Belle Hager; husband, Lloyd Hager; son-in-law, Gerald Jessee; and siblings and their spouses Vola (Lyle) Carter, Bill (Dorothy) Loop, and Beryl (Glenn) Harper.

Those left to rejoice in her salvation include her daughter, Betty Jessee of Imperial, Nebraska; granddaughters Melissa (Tony) Cochran and Julie Jessee of Imperial, Nebraska, and Katie (Justin) Markheim of Gering, Nebraska; great-grandchildren Bonie Cochran (Sergio Santiago), Cody Cochran, Grayson Markheim, and Carrick Markheim; and great-great grandson, Samuel Cochran-Santiago.

Clifford Hans "Cliff" Turner, age 55, of Cheyenne, Wyoming died on September 12, 2020 in Cheyenne.&nbsp; He was born on March 15, 1965 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Marlan and Joyce Turner.

Cliff was a truck driver, avid hunter, fisherman, and loved the great outdoors.&nbsp; He loved spending time with his children, his family, and especially his grandson.&nbsp; As well, Cliff was the biggest dog lover you'd ever known.

He is survived by his children, Michael Turner and Shelby Turner; his grandson, Ashton Davis; along with his three sisters, Renae Koval, Lisa Drew, and Kim Talley.

Clifford Hans "Cliff" Turner  (1965 - 2020)

Fonce William Brynoff, age 94, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away at home under hospice care on Saturday, September 19, 2020.

Fonce was born to Rev. David and Grace Brynoff at McLean, Texas on August 11, 1926.&nbsp; The family later moved to Nebraska where Fonce graduated from Max High School, then started farming for several years.&nbsp; He served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946, then returned home to Max, Nebraska.

On April 8, 1950, Fonce was united in marriage to Twila Mary Wilkinson in Stranton, Nebraska by his father, Rev. Dr. David Brynoff.&nbsp; The couple lived on the family farm until moving to North Platte, Nebraska in 1953.&nbsp; Fonce hired on with the Union Pacific Railroad, then went to work as a service man for Northwestern Public Service, eventually retiring after 32 years.

Fonce was a member of the First Baptist Church for 60 years, served as 4th Ward Councilman, and enjoyed being a community volunteer.&nbsp; He helped at the North Platte Senior Center and R.S.V.P. for many years, coached softball, and entertained the children at Lincoln Elementary School as Santa Claus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bill; brother Nels; and a sister, Betty Brynoff.

Fonce is survived by his wife of 70 years, Twila, of North Platte, Nebraska; a son, Ron (Deb) Brynoff of Granby, Colorado; a daughter, Cindy Gregg of Tryon, Nebraska; daughter-in-law, Jean Brynoff of Westminster, Colorado; brother, Jubal Brynoff of Aurora, Colorado; sister, Mildred Connor of Long Beach, California; grandchildren Lori (Bill) Munson, John (Stacie) Gregg, Kendra (Justin) Smith and Amanda, Joseph and Nick Brynoff; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as other family.

David and Grace Brynoff at McLean, Texas on August 11, 1926.&nbsp; The family later moved to Nebraska where Fonce graduated from Max High School, then started farming for several years.&nbsp; He served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1946, then returned home to Max, Nebraska.On April 8, 1950, Fonce was united in marriage to Twila Mary Wilkinson in Stranton, Nebraska by his father, Rev. Dr. David Brynoff.&nbsp; The couple lived on the family farm until moving to North Platte, Nebraska in 1953.&nbsp; Fonce hired on with the Union Pacific Railroad, then went to work as a service man for Northwestern Public Service, eventually retiring after 32 years.Fonce was a member of the First Baptist Church for 60 years, served as 4th Ward Councilman, and enjoyed being a community volunteer.&nbsp; He helped at the North Platte Senior Center and R.S.V.P. for many years, coached softball, and entertained the children at Lincoln Elementary School as Santa Claus.He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bill; brother Nels; and a sister, Betty Brynoff.Fonce is survived by his wife of 70 years, Twila, of North Platte, Nebraska; a son, Ron (Deb) Brynoff of Granby, Colorado; a daughter, Cindy Gregg of Tryon, Nebraska; daughter-in-law, Jean Brynoff of Westminster, Colorado; brother, Jubal Brynoff of Aurora, Colorado; sister, Mildred Connor of Long Beach, California; grandchildren Lori (Bill) Munson, John (Stacie) Gregg, Kendra (Justin) Smith and Amanda, Joseph and Nick Brynoff; 10 great-grandchildren; as well as other family.Cremation was chosen.&nbsp; Graveside service with military honors will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell, Nebraska.&nbsp; The memorial book may be signed at odeanchapel.com, or the day before the services from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Odean Colonial Chapel at C &amp; Sycamore in North Platte, Nebraska, which is in charge of arrangements.&nbsp; Memorials are suggest to the family for a park bench.

Verna Dell (Aunspaugh) Brunkhorst, age 93, of Mitchell, Nebraska passed away on September 14, 2020 at the Central Nebraska Veterans Home in Kearney, Nebraska.

She was born on August 1, 1927 in Gothenburg, Nebraska.&nbsp; Verna attended and graduated Gothenburg High School.&nbsp; She completed her education at Long Beach College in California.&nbsp; Verna married Lyle Brunkhorst on October 12, 1949 in McCook, Nebraska and to this marriage they had three children:&nbsp; Michael, Mark, and L. David.

Verna and Lyle traveled from one coast to the other while Lyle was in the Navy.&nbsp; She then lived in Gothenburg, Nebraska from 1965 until 1997 when they moved to Mitchell, Nebraska.&nbsp; Verna then went to the Grand Island Veterans home in 2014 until it closed in 2019, and was then moved to Kearney to the Central Nebraska Veterans home.&nbsp; The nurses and staff members at Central Nebraska Veterans Home became her family while they attened to her care.&nbsp; The staff was special to Verna as they became her family, especially when family could not get to see her.

Verna is survived by her son, L. David Brunkhorst and daughter-in-law Paula Brunkhorst of Mitchell, Nebraska; grandchildren Wayne (Amanda) Brunkhorst of Ogallala, Nebraska, Desiree (Ben) Sidders of Grand Island, Nebraska, Nicholas (Brittanie) Brunkhorst of Shreveport, Louisana, Cassie Brunkhorst of Mitchell, Nebraska, and Danielle (Jeremy) Smith of Yantis, Texas; nine great-grandsons and one great granddaughter; and Sister Janet Schmitz of Medford, Oregon.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lily (Cross) Aunspaugh; brothers William Aunspaugh and Merle (Tot) Aunspaugh; sisters and brothers-in-law Ruth &amp; Harry Wahlgren, Shirley &amp; Dale Fotchman, and Pete Schmitz; her husband Lyle; and two sons, Mark and Michael.

There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place.

Burial will take place on October 2, 2020 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraska with the family in attendance.

Mary Lynn Buettner, age 66, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away on September 16, 2020 at Great Plains Health in North Platte.&nbsp; She was born on August 9, 1954 to Kenneth and Betty (Knott) Brownell in Callaway, Nebraska.

Mary grew up in Oconto and North Platte, Nebraska.&nbsp; She married Thomas Buettner on November 12, 1996 in North Platte where the couple made their home.&nbsp; She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother.&nbsp; She had a great faith, always reading from her bible and practicing her Catholic faith.

Mary is survived by her husband, Thomas of North Platte, Nebraska; two sons, Joshua Shores of North Platte and Justin Shores of Grand Island, Nebraska; a granddaughter, Katie Shores; two sisters, Patricia (Thomas) Mooberry of Johnson Lake, Nebraska and Christina (Cary) Rowan of Moses Lake, Washington; two brothers, Kenneth Brownell of North Platte and John (Merri) Brownell of Omaha, Nebraka.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Michael, Stanley, Jim and Tom.

Glynn Ward, age 82, passed away September 16, 2020 in North Platte, surrounded by her loving children. She was born in Sutherland, Nebraska on June 15, 1938 to Paul G. and Georgia E. (Lawler) Hahn.

Glynn grew up in Paxton, Nebraska graduating from Paxton High School in 1956. After graduation she was employed at McDonald State Bank for 6 ½ years. On September 1, 1958 she married Dean E. Ward at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Paxton. For 30 years she worked at Sixth Street Food Store in the Westfield Shopping Center in North Platte, Nebraska as a bookkeeper, retiring in 2002.

She was a founding member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Through the years she was active in various ministries. Glynn was a buyer for Holy Spirit and St Pat’s Pantry from its inception in 1983 and treasurer from 1988 to 2016. She was a charter member of the Jones Girls Investment Club and was also a member of N.P. Chamber Hostesses and RSVP.

Glynn is survived by her children, Kif P. (Cindy) Ward of Libertyville, IL, Jan E. (Tom) Simpson of Blair, NE, and Jill M. (Stephen) Granger of North Platte; seven grandchildren, Katharine Ward of Los Angeles, CA, Brother Jerome Simpson of Atchison, KS, McKenna Simpson of Des Moines, IA, Hope Simpson of Blair, NE, Macy (Brandon) Marxman of Atchison, KS, Jacob Granger and Ellie Granger of North Platte; great grandson Paxton Marxman of Atchison, KS; sister, Ann Perlinger of Paxton; four nieces and one nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean of 57 years; brother-in-law, Don Perlinger.

E. Glynn Ward  (1938-2020)

Garry Warren Morris, age 77, of North Platte, Nebraska died at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

Garry was born in North Platte, Nebraska on February 9, 1943 to Warren and Frances (Houser) Morris and grew up in Sutherland.&nbsp; He attended Sutherland High School where he played halfback for the Sailors Football Team and they wond the State Championship in 1961.&nbsp; Garry graduated in 1961 and then worked on his dad's farm until going to work for Callahan Implement in North Platte.&nbsp; In 1968, Garry hired on with the Union Pacific Railroad and worked as a Machinist until retiring in 2003.

On October 18, 1982, Garry married Janice Reiner in Las Vegas, Nevada and they lived in North Platte where they are members of Harvest Christian Fellowship.

Garry was a Husker fan, a geocacher with over 4000 finds, and loved flying.&nbsp; He earned his private pilot's license and was able to buy a plane with his friend, Larry.&nbsp; Garry loved his family and enjoyed spending Sunday dinners at Rick and Tricia's house and playing marbles.&nbsp; He especially loved his granddaughters, Abbie and Maggie, and always made time to attend their high school events.&nbsp; Garry was greatly loved and will be missed.

He leaves behind his wife, Jan of North Platte, Nebraska; a son Ricky (Tricia) Morris of Sutherland, Nebraska; sisters Patsy (Gary) Marrs of Sutherland, Nebraska and Gretta (Danny) McAndrews of Denver, Colorado; granddaughters Abbie Morris and Maggie (Dakota) Yost; great-granddaughter Emersyn Yost; as well as other family.

Thomas Lynn Lieberth, age 65, of Westminster, Colorado passed away on September 12, 2020 at Lutheran Hospice Collier Center in Wheatridge, Colorado.

He was born on April 23, 1955 in North Platte, Nebraska to Barbara and Edward Dowell.

Tommy went to school in North Platte, Nebraska graduating with the Class of 1973.&nbsp; He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad.&nbsp; He moved to Lakewood, Colorado and worked for WSM Industries.

Tommy married Barbara Duke in 1983.&nbsp; To this union one son was born - Jesse Jerome.

He loved walking his furry friend and watching the Denver Broncos, Rockies, Avalanche and Nuggets.

Tommy was preceded in death by his dad, Don Lieberth; brothers Larry and Garry; grandparents Bernie and Rudy Neumann and Ester Dowell.

He is survived by his son, Jesse Lieberth of Westminster, Colorado; and his special furry friend, Skyy Blessing, who brought him much joy and played a big part in his life; his parents, Ed and Barb Dowell of North Platte, Nebraska; his brothers Dan (Bonnie) Lieberth of Chandler, Arizona, Jerry (Sandy) Lieberth of Holdrege, Nebraska, Steve Dowell of Wahepton, North Dakota, Scott (Amber) Dowell of Surprise, Arizona, and Dan (Dana) Beck of Casper, Wyoming; his aunts Sandy Reisinger of Loveland, Colorado, Carol Neumann of Vero Beach Florida, and Velda Gray; and many other family members.

Thomas Lynn Lieberth  (1955-2020)

Elizabeth Irene Blaylock, age 71, of North Platte, Nebraska, died unexpectedly at Great Plains Health on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.

Elizabeth was born to Ollie Cullen and Opal Alice (Barnum) Johnson on May 21, 1949 in North Platte, where she grew up.

Elizabeth married Marion Zulkoski in Sacremento, California and they made their home in North Platte, Nebraska.&nbsp; After Marion died in 1979, Elizabeth wed Sterling Eugene Blaylock, Sr. on November 11, 1984 and they continued living in North Platte.&nbsp; They were together nearly 20 years when he died in 2003.

Years ago, Elizabeth taught Sunday School at the Berean Fundamental Church, then attended New Life Assembly Church iof Kearney during the 1980's.&nbsp; Elizabeth loved her family and raised her grandkids as their foster parent.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marion Zulkoski and Sterling Blaylock, Sr; a son, John Blaylock and daughter, Loretta Buger; her parents, Ollie and Opal Johnson; brothers, Roy, Cecil, Marvin, and Robert Nichols and Boyd and Harold Johnson; and her sisters, Frances Ann Johnson, Mae Etta J. George Bruce White was born on February 27, 1944 in Sutherland, Nebraska to Connor and Frances (Stringfield) White.&nbsp; He attended North Platte High School, graduating with the Class of 1962.&nbsp; Bruce proudly served in the Air National Guard for several years.&nbsp; On june 3, 1977, Bruce was united in marriage to Kathleen Rendon-Martinez.&nbsp; He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years.&nbsp; Most recently, Bruce worked as a driver at Broadfoot Sand &amp; Gravel.

Bruce was a longtime Denver Broncos fan.&nbsp; He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and fishing.&nbsp; Bruce was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Kearney.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kathy White of Riverdale, Nebraska; children from a previous marriage, Debbie Anderson of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Tina (Mark) Reeves of Colorado Springs, Colorado; other children include Tony (Kristy) Martinez of Longmont, Colorado, Elizabeth (Gordon) Steele of Kearney, Nebraska, and Mark Martinez of Kearney, Nebraska; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers Gary (Diane) White of Joseph, Oregon and Bob White of North Platte, Nebraska; a sister Vicki (Stewart) Holmes of North Platte, Nebraska; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents.

George "Bruce" White  (1944-2020)

Denyse Scott, age 82, of Hayes Center, Nebraska passed away at her home in Hayes Center on September 15, 2020.&nbsp; She was born on January 12, 1938 in Hayes Center, Nebraska to Dennis and Elsie (Tate) Rathburn.&nbsp; She attended school in Hayes Center and graduated with the class of 1955.&nbsp; Denyse started working at the local ASC office at the age 0f 16 years, while she was still in high school.

On August 1, 1958, she married VerDon Scott.&nbsp; Denyse and VerDon were blessed with five children:&nbsp; Brent, Candace, Roger, Dennis and Mitchell.&nbsp; The family made their home in Hayes Center for several years before moving to Kearney, Nebraska where Denyse worked at the West Company.&nbsp; After two years in Kearney, the family returned to Hayes Center where Denyse started a second career, having retired from the ASC office, as a secretary at the grade school until her final retirement.

Denyse was a member of the Union Congregational United Church of Christ.&nbsp; When not busy raising her children and supporting her community through her different jobs, Denyse enjoyed arts and crafts.&nbsp; Countless people are still wearing her creations or have her artwork on their walls.&nbsp; She was a gracious and giving person.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband VerDon; and a sister, Martha Gerih.

Survivors include her son, Brent Scott of Wallace, Nebraska; daughter Candance Scott of Ypsilanti, Michigan; son Roger Scott of Hayes Center; son Dennis Scott of Hayes Center; and son Mitch Scott of Hayes Center; sisters Betty Jean (Dean) Mintling of Boulder, Colorado and Jan Breeze of McCook, Nebraska; a brother, Richard Rathburn of Crete, Nebraska; brother-in-law Ron Scott of McCook, Nebraska; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Nita Joyce Wolters, age 93, of McCook, Nebraska passed away at her home on September 13, 2020.&nbsp; She was born in Atwood, Kansas on September 20, 1926 to Leo Bernard and Nellie Florence (Dunn) Bowles.&nbsp; Joyce grew up in Atwood and graduated from Atwood High School in 1944.

On April 24, 1949 she was united in marriage to Frederick Kastens Wolters in Atwood, Kansas.&nbsp; To this union, 3 children were born: Marilyn, Gary and Roger.&nbsp; Frederick preceded her in death on March 22, 1995.&nbsp; The couple farmed south of Trenton, Nebraska before moving into Trenton in 1961.&nbsp; In 1961, Joyce began working for the United States Postal Service as a clerk.&nbsp; She worked in Stratton, Trenton and Culbertson in Nebraska.&nbsp; In 1979, she moved to McCook, Nebraska where she continued to work for USPS until she retired in 1986.

Joyce was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church.&nbsp; She was a fabulous cook and baker, known for many special "Joyce" recipes.&nbsp; She was an excellent seamstress, making clothing for her daughter and grandchildren.&nbsp; She was an avid garage sale and estate auction attendee.&nbsp; Joyce enjoyed her flower gardens.&nbsp; She was the owner of the Merle Norman Cosmetic store in McCook.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frederick; daughter Marilyn Wolters; brother Bernard "Bud" Bowles and his wife, Jerry; and a sister Joann Mann and her husband, Bob.

Joyce is survived by her two sons, Roger Wolters of McCook and Gary (Jeniffer) Wolters of Oberlin, Kansas; five grandchildren: Kelsie Wolters, Desiree Nessline, Shelby (Tanner) Hardy, Danyel (Clint) Krizek, and Erin Basnett; six great grandchildren: Eli Hardy, Kenna Hardy, Blake Krizek, Donald Basnett, Kaden Nessline, and Keehgan Nessline; as well as several nieces and nephews.

N. Joyce Wolters  (1926-2020)

Alma was born to Edwin and Florence (Peters) Seifried on August 4, 1920 in Tripp County on a farm near Winner, South Dakota.

In 1928, the family moved to a farm near Sparks, Nebraska where Alma attended Sandcreek School.&nbsp; The next move was to Rosebud, South Dakota where her parents opened a cafe.

In 1933 the move was to Valentine, Nebraska where Alma graduated from high school in 1938.&nbsp; Her first job was for Stilwell Insurance Company.

Alma married Herbert Leonard Alder in 1939 at Martin, South Dakota.&nbsp; They had 2 children, Sharon Kay and Robert Richard.

Alma and Leonard enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling.&nbsp; Travels included Hawaii and Canada.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers Merle Edwin (infant) and Donald Claire; and her husband Leonard.

Surviving are daughter Sharon and husband David White, son Robert and wife Irene; grandchildren Rhonda Green and husband Steven, Tina Alder, Richard Alder, and David Alder; and great grandchildren Ronda Cheyanne Alder, Dylan Alder and Uma Rae Green.

Alma was a member of the United Methodist Church since 1950.&nbsp; She passed away at Pine View Nursing Home on September 10, 2020 at the age of 100.
