Sandy Fisher passed away on Saturday afternoon, July 29th, 2023 after a long but graceful fight with cancer.&nbsp; Her strength and endurance during her battle was a true testimony to her love and dedication to her Lord and Savior.

Sandy was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on January 7, 1959 to Robert and Joyce Hardknock.&nbsp; They would later move to North Platte, Nebraska where she would then meet her husband, Stan Fisher.

Stan and Sandy moved to Colorado shortly after getting married where they would make Colorado Springs their permanent home.&nbsp; Sandy worked at Phenix Salon Suites and loved the social connections she made with stylists and guests.

Sandy's number one passion in life was taking care of and being a huge Godly influence in her children and grandchildren's lives.&nbsp; She lived for them and their happiness every day.&nbsp; Sandy had such a servant heart towards everyone she met.&nbsp; Anyone who was blessed to meet her, all got to see her genuine and pure helping heart.&nbsp; Her love for baking came in as a close second and it was like no other.&nbsp; She blessed so many people with her amazing cupcakes, breads, and desserts.&nbsp; Her heart was always in the kitchen baking something.

Sandy was survived by her husband, Stan Fisher; their two children, Kendra Eggleton and Nathan Fisher; and their three loving grandchildren, Brylee, Kenzie, and Triston.

A Celebration of Life is planned at the World Prayer Center, 11005 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, Colorado at 2:00 p.m. MST on Friday, August 11, 2023.

Meza of Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away at Omaha Methodist Hospital at the age of 44. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Jaimeson was born to Ygnacio and Davine Meza in Grand Island, Nebraska on June 11, 1979. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Jaimeson attended grade school in Grand Island, Nebraska until fifth grade, then attended school in North Platte, Nebraska where he graduated in 1997. He participated in football, theater, and academic decathlon. Then he continued his education at Peru State Collage, then University of Nebraska at Kearney, obtaining associate degree at North Platte Community College. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Jaimeson was employed and enjoyed working at Cabela’s for a period until he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska to attend the School for the Visually Impaired, to learn how to live independently as a visually impaired person at which he was remarkably successful. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;He had many Joys in his life, sports music poker and his guide dogs all of which gave him many unique experiences. His favorite sport teams which he loved were Nebraska Football and Baseball, Atlanta Braves, LA Lakers, Tennessee Titans and NASCAR. He was a wealth of knowledge to all who knew him and never failed to let you know his opinion on such matters. Jaimeson Y. Meza  (1979-2023)

Larry Blaine Wilmeth of North Platte died peacefully in his sleep at North Platte Care Center. He was 84 Years Old.&nbsp;

Larry was Born May 5th, 1939, in Gothenburg, Nebraska to Howard and Lola (Beerman) Wilmeth. Larry spent his childhood growing up in Gothenburg. His family moved to Dickens, Nebraska after his father’s untimely death. Larry was 9 years old and had to grow up quickly. He started working at a very young age and developed a great work ethic. He always said, “If one person is working everybody should be working”.&nbsp;

Larry graduated high school in 1958 at Wallace high school while living in Dickens. During the summers and after High School Larry worked for a section gang of Burlington Northern Railroad. He also spent at least one season Custom Combining. &nbsp;Larry later worked at Stinger Ranch as a hired hand for 4 years. He moved his family to North Platte when he obtained a job at the Coca Cola bottling Plant. In 1968, Larry finally landed a career job at Union Pacific Railroad; he retired after three decades of holding different train maintenance positions as a carman.&nbsp;

Larry married Barbara McDermott in 1960 and had four children: Blaine Wilmeth of North Platte, Brent (Rochelle) Wilmeth of Bismarck, North Dakota, Brooke Wilmeth of North Platte, and Bridget Wilmeth of North Platte.

Larry had a passion for dancing, he would travel for hours to meet friends and spend the night dancing. Larry also frequented the golf course many days of the week. He loved cars and car races. He of course was an avid Husker fan of Football, Baseball, and Volleyball.&nbsp;

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Betty McDermott.

He is survived by his four children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and younger sister Creta Waltemath.

Helen Higginbotham, longtime resident of North Platte, Nebraska, died on August 3, 2023 at home with her daughter and granddaughter present.

Helen lived through the dustbowl and saw her family’s farm crops completely destroyed by grasshoppers.&nbsp; She endured the deaths of 5 of her 7 children. And yet, despite the suffering, she continued to love and care for those around her. She found happiness and contentment in the ordinary things of everyday life and peace in her faith.&nbsp; She enjoyed Nebraskaland day celebrations and country music, beginning to plan for purchasing the next year's concert tickets even before fighting the traffic home on the last night of the current year's celebration. She enjoyed all the holidays.

She was born at home on the farm of her parents, Ben and Cora Yates, in the country around North Platte on April 15, 1925.&nbsp; She lived all of her life in North Platte, except for two years during WWII when she and her sister Millie joined the women’s wartime work force in Washington, DC., and her final years which she spent with her daughter in Santa Fe, NM.

She is preceded in death by three daughters - Marcia Topliff, Ronna Higginbotham and Janis Kraetz - and two sons, John and Daryl Higginbotham who owned and operated Roger's restaurant in North Platte.&nbsp; Siblings who preceded her in death include Millie Grosh (Roger), Louise Houghteliing (Bob), Florence Peterson and Raymond Yates.

She will be be dearly missed by friends and relatives, including her daughters - Lisa Arnold (Grant) and Debbie Higginbotham.&nbsp; Grandchildren are Cassidy, Savannah and Logan Arnold, Erica Andert (Eddie) and Andrea Kraetz.&nbsp; She has one great grandson - Sebastian Andert, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a 7:00 pm memorial service at Carpenter Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 9th.&nbsp; Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Catholic Church will begin at 1:00 pm on August 10, 2023, with Father Jonathan Sorensen presiding.&nbsp; Reception at the&nbsp;church will follow the mass, and after the reception burial will be at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.&nbsp; All are invited.

&nbsp; Kathleen Marie "Kate" Easton passed away at the North Platte Care Center on August 6, 2023, at the age of 76. Kathleen was born in North Platte to Charles Jr. and Margaret (Drost) Easton on October 21, 1946. She grew up in North Platte and graduated from N.P.H.S. in 1965. During high school Kathleen worked at the Frontier Resort then following graduation she worked in the typing pool at Hansen &amp; Fuenning Accounting and later was a receptionist for the Salvation Army until retiring. Kathleen was a member of Episcopal Church of Our Savior, Episcopal Ladies Group and Daughters of the American Revolution. Family was important to Kathleen.&nbsp; When she became a mother she took time off from work to raise her children and be a homemaker.&nbsp; Then when her parents needed help, she was their caregiver.&nbsp; Kathleen enjoyed planning family gatherings, cooking and taking family trips in the RV when her kids were young.&nbsp; She was a kind, loving and giving woman. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and infant siblings, Charles and Susan. Survivors include her three children, Shane Gosnell (Jamaica Riley) and Jessica Gosnell of North Platte and Stephanie (Joshua) Fricke of Oakland, CA; granddaughters, Ula Fricke and Fiona Gosnell; her sisters, Mary (Daniel) Agler and Beth (Mark) Schanou, brother, Chuck Easton, and special friends, Judy Foran and Laura Stewart, all of North Platte; as well as many other family members. Gaylene Joyce (Garrison) Weber age 89, formerly of Arnold, Nebraska died peacefully August 5, 2023, in Kearney, Nebraska.

Gaylene was born on October 2, 1933, to Howard and Lois (Hagin) Garrison in Callaway, Nebraska. During WWII, the family moved to Los Angeles, California where her dad found work in a defense factory. The family later returned to Nebraska where she graduated from Arnold High School in 1951. She received her Teacher's Certificate from Kearney State College and taught school for a few years.

In 1953, she married Marvin Weber. From this marriage they had four children: Vicky, David, Devra, and Daniel. &nbsp;She later drove the school bus in Arnold. Gaylene always loved the kids. She was a long-time member of the Nazarene Church where she taught Sunday School, Bible School, and directed the music.

Gaylene was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and performed at a variety of functions. She enjoyed gardening but her first love was animals, and the Weber family always had several. Through the years, she became famous for her tacos! She proudly prepared them in large quantities, not only for her family, but also countless others. Only God knows how many million she made! Gaylene will be remembered for her kindness, love for others, generosity, and her faithful service to God and others. Her joyful smile was for everyone and was a reflection of her love for Jesus.

Gaylene is survived by three of her four children, David (Marlys) Weber of North Platte, Devra (Douglas) Hoover of Burwell, and Dan Weber of Franklin, along with six grandkids, and eleven great grandkids. &nbsp;She is also survived by two siblings, Pam Speck of Denver, Colorado, and Russell Garrison of Lewellen, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, her daughter Vicky Rookstool, her parents, and stepfather Donald “Muttt” Shields, granddaughter, Betty Tuebner, son-in-law Jim McElroy, and son-in-law Duane Rookstool.&nbsp;

Her joyful smile was for everyone and was a reflection of her love for Jesus.Gaylene is survived by three of her four children, David (Marlys) Weber of North Platte, Devra (Douglas) Hoover of Burwell, and Dan Weber of Franklin, along with six grandkids, and eleven great grandkids. &nbsp;She is also survived by two siblings, Pam Speck of Denver, Colorado, and Russell Garrison of Lewellen, Nebraska.She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin, her daughter Vicky Rookstool, her parents, and stepfather Donald “Muttt” Shields, granddaughter, Betty Tuebner, son-in-law Jim McElroy, and son-in-law Duane Rookstool.&nbsp;

Brian Mejia Paxtor, 12, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on July 24, 2023, in Gosper County as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born on August 18, 2010, in Lexington, Nebraska to Jesus Mejia and Ana Paxtor Mejia. Brian touched the lives of those around him with his infectious laughter, kind heart, and love for adventure. Brian was a very respectful, responsible and a disciplined young boy. From a young age, Brian demonstrated an eagerness to learn and explore the world. He attended preschool in Lexington before moving to Chicago for elementary school. During this time, he started his career as a soccer player with the team Super Hero Squad. In fifth grade, he returned to Lexington and continued his education at Pershing Elementary before transitioning to Lexington Middle School.&nbsp; Brian's favorite soccer player was Lionel Messi and he loved watching Barcelona and Argentina play. His favorite hobbies included fishing with his dad and brother, playing his PS4 with friends and his favorite colors were blue and red. He spent his last few days hanging out with his closest friends enjoying the fair and playing basketball.

His favorite foods included Baleadas, Red Mexican Tamales, McDonald's McChicken's, s'mores and Reece's Peanut Butter Cups – treats that always brought a smile to his face. His favorite drinks were Dr. Pepper and Cool Blue Gatorade. Brian cherished spending time with friends and engaging in many sports activities. From kicking a soccer ball around with the Lexington Unifut Soccer Club to playing basketball with his friends, he always enjoyed the companionship that came with team sports.&nbsp;As accomplished as he was in various aspects of his life, Brian's proudest accomplishments were achieved through his involvement in the Lexington Unifut Soccer Club. Over the last three years, he proudly represented the Lex Dreamers U14A&amp;B teams carrying #29 in honor of his admiration towards Kylian Mbappé. His dedication, skill, and unwavering spirit on the field made him a valuable teammate and a source of inspiration for others.

Duane Kinder age 63 of Broken Bow, NE passed away August 2, 2023, at the Jennie M Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow, NE.

Duane Edward Kinder was born December 15, 1959, in Cambridge, NE to Norman and Arliss (Brown) Kinder. Duane graduated from Holbrook High School in 1978. After high school, Duane moved to Cozad, where he lived for several years. He later moved to Callaway, then settled in Broken Bow.

Duane enjoyed restoring and showing old cars. He was very talented with auto body and working with his hands, winning multiple awards for his work. Duane worked at several locations in the Broken Bow area- Fixed Right Auto, Gateway Motors, Connely’s Camper Corner, and V- Bar Trailer Sales. After his health failed, Duane enjoyed spending time at the family farm.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Arliss Kinder.

Duane is survived by daughters Heather Kinder of Cozad and Jamie Fochtman of Gothenburg, five grandchildren Kaden, Ethan, Rori, Emmalyn, and Paul Isaac, his longtime girlfriend, Rhonda Sheneman of Broken Bow, and children Amber and Jenn, two sisters Valarie (Alex) Difuntorum of Lincoln, and Daralis Kinder of Overland Park, KS and many lifelong friends.

Duane Kinder (1959-2023)

Rodney Ray Swanson, 87, of rural Overton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, at his home surrounded by family and friends.

Rod was born September 10th, 1935, in Lexington, NE to Kenneth and Evelyn (Young) Swanson.

 He was an only child and lived in Gosper County until he was 4 years old. They moved to Dawson County where he went to grade school at District 7 and District 21. Rod participated in 4-H and was honored with trips to Chicago and Washington, DC. He was also the state public speaking champion in 1951. He graduated from Overton High School in 1953 and participated in football, basketball and track. Rod joined the National Guard in 1953 during the Korean War and served until 1961. He attained the rank of Master Sergeant and was discharged as Sergeant First Class. He attended UNL for 2 years where he was a member of the FarmHouse Fraternity and block &amp; bridle club. He was a champion sheep showman in 1954.

Rod married Patricia Lauby on September 3rd, 1958. The union was blessed with 5 children: Kevin, Kristi, Daniel, Bryce and Brooke. Rod started farming in 1961 and enjoyed expanding his farm with his boys. They were some of the first to irrigate with center pivots. He has been a member of the Trinity Lutheran church in Lexington since 1993. He served on the board of directors and was chairman of congress, as well as serving on the elders committee. Rod was the president of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association in 1986-1987. He was also on the National Corn development foundation, Lexington co-op board and Farm Bureau board. His family received the Farm Family of the Year in 2000, given by the Lexington area Chamber of Commerce. He sold products for Pioneer Seed for 25 years.

On January 27th, 1996, Rod married Shirley Hoos. Rod's passion was collecting precision toy tractors. He also enjoyed driving around on his John Deere Gator admiring the farm he and his family built. Rod's biggest joy in life was being a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He had an undying love for his faith and his family. That love was obvious during each heartbreaking loss of two sons, Dan (1986) and Bryce (2022), whom he undoubtedly is enjoying a reunion with alongside our Lord and Savior. Rod never knew a stranger. His big heart and generous personality will live on forever.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: Kevin (Kelly) Swanson of Overton, Kristi Shafer of Overton, Brooke Kohnen of Kearney, and daughter-in-law Leah Swanson of Eddyville. Grandchildren: Taylor (Kelley) Swanson, Jessica Shafer, Jared Shafer, Joel (Bailee) Shafer, Tara Swanson, Stacy Swanson, Kinzy (Brent) Carmody, Baley (Cooper) Davenport, Claire Sorrell, and Lauren Sorrell. Great-grandchildren: Ansley Swanson, Carson Hageman, Saige Swanson, Addison, Maxton and Hutchinson Carmody, Trux and Traylin Davenport, as well as many extended family and farming friends.

Rod is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and two sons, Dan and Bryce.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington with pastor Rob Kuefner, officiating. The service will live-streamed via the Trinity Lutheran Church website at http://www.tlclex.org

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lexington.

Interment with Military Honors will be held at the Overton Cemetery in Overton, Nebraska.

 </figure>Rodney Ray Swanson, 87, of rural Overton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, at his home surrounded by family and friends.Rod was born September 10th, 1935, in Lexington, NE to Kenneth and Evelyn (Young) Swanson. He was an only child and lived in Gosper County until he was 4 years old. They moved to Dawson County where he went to grade school at District 7 and District 21. Rod participated in 4-H and was honored with trips to Chicago and Washington, DC. He was also the state public speaking champion in 1951. He graduated from Overton High School in 1953 and participated in football, basketball and track. Rod joined the National Guard in 1953 during the Korean War and served until 1961. He attained the rank of Master Sergeant and was discharged as Sergeant First Class. He attended UNL for 2 years where he was a member of the FarmHouse Fraternity and block &amp; bridle club. He was a champion sheep showman in 1954.Rod married Patricia Lauby on September 3rd, 1958. The union was blessed with 5 children: Kevin, Kristi, Daniel, Bryce and Brooke. Rod started farming in 1961 and enjoyed expanding his farm with his boys. They were some of the first to irrigate with center pivots. He has been a member of the Trinity Lutheran church in Lexington since 1993. He served on the board of directors and was chairman of congress, as well as serving on the elders committee. Rod was the president of the Nebraska Corn Growers Association in 1986-1987. He was also on the National Corn development foundation, Lexington co-op board and Farm Bureau board. Richard W. “Dick” Allbright of Cozad passed away Monday, July 31, 2023 at Kearney Regional Medical Center at the age of 66. Richard was born August 20, 1956 at Broken Bow, Nebraska to Claude and Audrey (Holcomb) Allbright. He graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 1975. Richard married Tammy Jo Darnall. Their union was blessed with 7 children: Matthew, Nathan, Christopher, Callie, Emily, Andrea and David. He worked construction most of his life, and was a night monitor at South Central Development in Cozad until his retirement. Richard was a Webelos Leader and Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed camping and fishing in South Dakota. He was a Star Trek fan, loved John Wayne movies, and playing card games. Richard never missed his morning and afternoon coffee and tea groups. &nbsp;He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Audrey Allbright; and wife, Tammy Allbright. &nbsp;Survivors include his children, Matt Allbright, Nathan Allbright, Christopher (Courtonie) Allbright, David (Sheri Crosier) Allbright, Callie Allbright, Emily Allbright and Andrea (Andrew) McClellen; grandchildren, Aiden, Maison, Aryiah, Mackenziee, and Zackary; and many other family members and friends.

Richard W. Allbright (1956-2023)

Barbara Ann Baue, 87, of North Platte passed away on August 2, 2023. Barb was born November 15th, 1935 to Henry and Neva (Penney) Hoeft of Columbus. Raised on the farm, she attended country school and later attended high school at Genoa, Nebraska where she was a good student, a cheerleader, and drum majorette of the marching band. There she met her life-long love, Charles Baue, and the two married shortly after graduation on December 19, 1953. They soon settled in Lincoln where she worked at Cornhusker Bank while Chuck completed college. Together they raised three children, Penney, Keith, and Kimberly. The family relocated to North Platte in 1966. There, Barb was able to take a few college courses of her own and worked at Nebraska Machinery, Gateway Realty, and Brown Williamson until her retirement in 2001; a deserved rest that allowed them to enjoy many trips together, especially to Padre Island, TX.&nbsp;

Never one to take a title, or credit for her work, Barb worked tirelessly for her church, family, friends, and her community. While Charles served on various boards, it was Barb who quietly supported both him and the organizations they served. She was the first to volunteer for any and all things that needed to be done at her church and was a staple in making Nebraskaland Days events a success. She enjoyed her time in the Cody Cavalry, serving drinks and food at the rodeos and concerts each year, and was honored alongside Chuck as he received the Dale Studley Award in 2021. Her bountiful vegetable garden always fed friends and neighbors for miles around and her Christmas brunch was a treasured annual event. Her legendary potato salad graced the table of every family gathering and will never again be duplicated.&nbsp;

Left to treasure her memory are her husband of 69 years, her children, Penney (Chip) Feltz of Ogallala, Keith Baue of Lincoln, and Kimberly Baue of Pocatello, ID, 4 grandchildren, Chrissa (Michael) Schlake of Ogallala, Bo (Becky) Feltz of Kearney, Jess (Beth) Feltz of Lincoln, and Jonah DeCent of Omaha, 5 great grandchildren, Ella, Lucy and Hanna Schlake of Ogallala, and Cooper and Chase Feltz of Kearney, and her brother, Jerry (Pricilla) Hoeft of Bridgeport, MN. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Deloris and Nina, and an infant granddaughter, Brooklyn Feltz.

Barbara Ann Baue (1935-2023)

Erma Lee Winchester, age 80, of Broken Bow, NE. died Monday July 31, 2023, at the Callaway District Hospital in Callaway, NE.

Erma was born on October 12, 1942, to Anton and I. Bernita (Hanks) Dramse in Alliance, NE. &nbsp;She grew up in the Hay Springs/Rushville area until they made the move to Broken Bow when she was in the fourth grade. &nbsp;Erma met the love of her life, Merritt, when she was 13 and they were married on July 26, 1959, when she was just 16. &nbsp;She then went on to graduate from Broken Bow High School in 1960. &nbsp;From this union were two children: Nick Joe and Rhonda ReNae`.

After graduating, Erma began working at Broken Bow State Bank where she was a bank teller for several years. &nbsp;She then began working at Broken Bow Municipal Utilities where she remained until she retired exactly 2 weeks after she was given the ok by Merritt to quit her job as her last child was married off and they officially had no kids in the house.

Her hobbies consisted of playing in her flower beds, collecting, and selling antiques, going to auctions, playing her drums and going to her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s many events.

She is survived by her son Nick (Rhonda Guernsey) Winchester of Broken Bow, NE and their children Brandi (Jordan) Tucker of Broken Bow, NE, Vincent (Veronica) Winchester of Omaha, Joseph (Hope) Winchester of Broken Bow, NE, and Shelby (Isaac) Deaton of Valdez, AK and their daughter Rhonda (Walt Myers) of Merna, NE, and their children Allycia (Logan) McMullen of Milburn, Blain Myers (Kesia Barleen) of Broken Bow, NE, Luke (Vanessa) Myers of Merna, NE, and Tamara (Nathan) Kreutzer of Lincoln, NE and 14 great grandchildren with 2 more blessings on the way. Brother Jim (Ila) Dramse of Grand Island, NE, and many nieces and nephews.

Erma Winchester (1942-2023)

Arthur Charles Oswald, of North Platte, Nebraska, died at 5:05 pm on July 31, 2023 at Great Plains Health.

He was born February 21,1936, at Carroll, IA to Peter and Teresa Oswald. &nbsp;He grew up in Carroll County and graduated high school from St. Bernard's Catholic School in Breda, IA. &nbsp;He attended two years in the Catholic seminary at Loras College in Dubuque, IA.

He entered the Army Reserves on May 14, 1958 serving during Peacetime and was honorably discharged. &nbsp;

Arthur met Virginia Ann Kunze while they both worked at Mutual of Omaha. &nbsp;They were united in marriage on August 25, 1962, at St. Cecelia's Cathedral Chapel after which the couple lived in Omaha and had three children. &nbsp;In Omaha, Beatrice and Hastings Arthur was an insurance salesman. &nbsp;In 1972, he, along with a partner, started Tri City Wholesale, in Grand Island, NE, a grocery supplier to restaurants and businesses. &nbsp;In 1987, he began working for CashWa Distributing in North Platte and was transferred to Lincoln, NE, where he worked until he retired in 2008. &nbsp;Arthur and Virginia moved back to North Platte in 2009.

Arthur was a member of fast pitch softball and basketball teams for Jim's Bar in Omaha. &nbsp;He was a member of the Jaycee's where he won the state Speak Up award in 1971. &nbsp;He had a beautiful tenor voice and sang in the choir at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. &nbsp;He was an active member of Sertoma where he held the office of President during his involvement.

Arthur was an excellent salesman building strong relationships with his customers. &nbsp;He loved boating, sailing and fishing. &nbsp;He taught his children respect for authority, how to work hard and stand up for the little guy. &nbsp;He was very generous. &nbsp;He was a good husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. &nbsp; &nbsp;

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Oswald; sons, John Oswald (Luisa) and Jerome Oswald; and daughter, Anne (John) O'Connor; grandchildren, Nick Oswald, Josh (Courtney) Oswald, Kylie (Tyler) Harper, Darren (Arial) O’Connor, Lucas O'Connor, Leah O'Connor, Pamala Oswald, Trinity Oswald, Renato Oswald, Jerry Oswald Jr., Angie Oswald; and great grandchildren, Rylan, Owen, Mason, Camden, Lane, Brooks, Logan, and Jackie Joy; Brother, Leon (Florence) Oswald; sisters, Glady Nieland and Marge (Bob) Tigges.

Those that preceded in death are his parents; Siblings: Rita Reicks, Paul Oswald, Maizie Soyer, Charles Oswald, Dorothy Vogel, Lola Heim, Bill Oswald, Louis Oswald; and his aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be at Carpenter Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm on Aug. 7,2023, with the Reverend Randall Langhorst officiating. &nbsp;Burial will follow at the North Platte Cemetery. &nbsp;Visitation will be from 2-4 pm, August 6, 2023, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel.  </figure>Arthur Charles Oswald, of North Platte, Nebraska, died at 5:05 pm on July 31, 2023 at Great Plains Health.He was born February 21,1936, at Carroll, IA to Peter and Teresa Oswald. &nbsp;He grew up in Carroll County and graduated high school from St. Bernard's Catholic School in Breda, IA. &nbsp;He attended two years in the Catholic seminary at Loras College in Dubuque, IA.He entered the Army Reserves on May 14, 1958 serving during Peacetime and was honorably discharged. &nbsp;Arthur met Virginia Ann Kunze while they both worked at Mutual of Omaha. &nbsp;They were united in marriage on August 25, 1962, at St. Cecelia's Cathedral Chapel after which the couple lived in Omaha and had three children. &nbsp;In Omaha, Beatrice and Hastings Arthur was an insurance salesman. &nbsp;In 1972, he, along with a partner, started Tri City Wholesale, in Grand Island, NE, a grocery supplier to restaurants and businesses. &nbsp;In 1987, he began working for CashWa Distributing in North Platte and was transferred to Lincoln, NE, where he worked until he retired in 2008. &nbsp;Arthur and Virginia moved back to North Platte in 2009.Arthur was a member of fast pitch softball and basketball teams for Jim's Bar in Omaha. &nbsp;He was a member of the Jaycee's where he won the state Speak Up award in 1971. &nbsp;He had a beautiful tenor voice and sang in the choir at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. &nbsp;He was an active member of Sertoma where he held the office of President during his involvement.Arthur was an excellent salesman building strong relationships with his customers. &nbsp;He loved boating, sailing and fishing. &nbsp;He taught his children respect for authority, how to work hard and stand up for the little guy. &nbsp;He was very generous. &nbsp;He was a good husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. &nbsp; &nbsp;Survivors include his wife, Virginia Oswald; sons, John Oswald (Luisa) and Jerome Oswald; and daughter, Anne (John) O'Connor; grandchildren, Nick Oswald, Josh (Courtney) Oswald, Kylie (Tyler) Harper, Darren (Arial) O’Connor, Lucas O'Connor, Leah O'Connor, Pamala Oswald, Trinity Oswald, Renato Oswald, Jerry Oswald Jr., Angie Oswald; and great grandchildren, Rylan, Owen, Mason, Camden, Lane, Brooks, Logan, and Jackie Joy; Brother, Leon (Florence) Oswald; sisters, Glady Nieland and Marge (Bob) Tigges.Those that preceded in death are his parents; Siblings: Rita Reicks, Paul Oswald, Maizie Soyer, Charles Oswald, Dorothy Vogel, Lola Heim, Bill Oswald, Louis Oswald; and his aunts and uncles.Funeral services will be at Carpenter Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm on Aug. 7,2023, with the Reverend Randall Langhorst officiating. &nbsp;Burial will follow at the North Platte Cemetery. &nbsp;Visitation will be from 2-4 pm, August 6, 2023, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. Dwayne D. Chapin son of Bonnie, was born February 6, 1963, in Broken Bow Hospital. Was adopted by Bonnie and Gerald Chapin in 1968. He passed on July 28, 2023, at the Halifax Medical Center in Daytona, Florida at the age of 60 years.

He made his 1st Communion at St. Joseph’s in 1969, and his Confirmation at St. Joseph’s in 1981. He attended Broken Bow Schools and graduated in 1981. Then he attended Southeast Community College, there he received an associate degree in electrical technology in 1983.

Dwayne loved water sports, playing pool, driving fast, motorcycles, and spending time with friends and family.

He traveled to Hawaii, Arizona, and Nebraska before he landed in Florida in the Daytona area, he met the love of his life Patricia Humphrey, they lived together for 16 years. They ended up in Port Orange, FL.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Uncle Garry, Uncle Dean, Aunt and Uncle Patti and Jerry Jacquot, and cousins Melissa, Riehl, and Trevor Haller.

Dwayne is survived by mother Bonnie, sister Addy (Jeff) Catlett, niece Desarae, and nephew Joseph, aunt Gaylene Amm, cousins Brenda (Brent), Stacy (Stephanie), uncle Gene (Lola) Chapin, uncle Jim (Deb) Chapin, many cousins, and special friend Patricia Humphrey (love of his life).

Lorraine Estella Real, age 92, of McCook, passed away July 29, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.

Lorraine was born February 21, 1931, in Stratton, NE to Floyd and Nellie (Ovenden) League. She was the fifth out of ten kids. She grew up in Stratton, NE, and attended Stratton High School where she graduated with the Class of 1949.

She married the love of her life, Wayne Real, on April 7, 1950, and in 1951 they were blessed with the news they were expecting and found out it was twin girls Terry and Gerry. Throughout her life, she worked upstairs of DeGroffs as a seamstress, and then later moved downstairs and managed the kid’s department. As well as DeGroffs, she worked at Lots of Love, then enjoyed her time as a cook at the McCook Junior High cafeteria.

Lorraine loved her family and was very involved in all her grandkids and great grandkids’ lives. She created beautiful designs by knitting and sewing, and stayed active by doing yardwork and raising chickens and ducks. Lorraine made sure to make time for her bible studies and was an astonishing example of a follower of Christ.

Lorraine was proceeded in death by her parents, Floyd and Nellie League; husband, Wayne Real; and four brothers, four sisters, and one grandson, Jason Beard.

Those left to celebrate her life include daughters, Terry Beard and Gerry Bales of McCook, NE; grandkids, Sheree Kerns of McCook, NE, Gary (Michelle) Bales of Staplehurst, NE, Brian (Jenny) Bales of Dubuque, Iowa, Amanda Bales of Garden City, KS; nine great-grandkids, Jacob, Kristy, Abigail, Hannah, Emma, Madelyn, Jaxon, Quinton, and Eban; sister, Ruth Cook of Denver, Co; brother, Tom League of OR; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Bryce Lee Maret, of McCook, NE, passed away at Kearney Regional Medical Center on July 27, 2023, at the age of 28.

Bryce was born in Lexington, NE, September 17, 1994, to parents Rodney and Frances (Medrano) Maret. Bryce attended McCook High School and worked as a night auditor at the Quality Inn here in McCook.

Bryce was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, photography, creating rap music, watching movies, storm chasing, and strumming the guitar. He collected Funko POP! figurines, drove around McCook listening to music, and played video games like Diablo and Elder Ring. &nbsp;He also participated in paranormal activity investigations, rocking out at concerts, going on road trips, and putting together videos of friends and families. Everywhere Bryce went, he had his service dog Diamond, who is part lab and part Pitbull. With everything he was involved with, Bryce made sure to put his family first. He was an amazing father to his daughter Seije, a trustworthy brother to Brynnon and Aryanna, and a loving son to his parents.

Bryce is proceeded in death by his infant son, Malcom Allen Koehler; grandmother, Georgia Maret; great-grandparents Merle and Zelda Maret; great-great grandmother, Bernice Hinton; great grandfather, George Harrington.

Bryce Maret (1994-2023)

Royce Elaine (Walters) Potts moved from her home at Westview to her heavenly home on July 29, 2023. She was born January 24, 1926, on a farm outside of Bertrand, Nebraska. She was the fourth of five daughters born to Della and Roy Walters. As a member of the 'greatest generation,' she grew up experiencing the dirty 30s and the hard work required for her parents to maintain their family farm. The five 'Walters Girls' developed a wonderful bond that lasted almost a century as all of them lived into their 90's. The strong and amazing faith of their mother, Della, was not only shared with her daughters but has gone on to influence so many of her grand and great-grandchildren.

After her graduation from Bertrand High School, Royce and her sister Maybelle moved to Denver, Colorado, and worked at Mongomery Ward and the Denver Country Club. They moved back home to the family farm near Bertrand to care for their mother following a serious illness. Royce eventually went to work in a drug store in Oxford, Nebraska, where she happened to meet a handsome young man by the name of Les Potts.

Royce attended the Midwest Academy of Beauty in Lincoln and then opened her own shop, while Les attended the University of Nebraska. They would marry in Beaver City, Nebraska, on September 10, 1949, and spend the next 50 years together. When Les graduated from medical school, they moved from Arnold, Nebraska, to Warroad, Minnesota, and finally settled in Grant, Nebraska, in 1960. Their family grew to include four children: Leslie, John, Genie, and Debbie.

As the wife of a small-town general practitioner, she took on many extra duties at home and supported her husband in his medical practice. They enjoyed many adventures over the years as they pursued their love of farming, horses, boating at the lake, racquetball, and the Senior Olympics.

Royce had a gift for making things beautiful and loved putting her gift to work in her home and her yard and in crafting beautiful pieces of art with crewel yarn, sequins, and beads. She loved antiques and collecting, but more than anything, she had a tremendous love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Holiday planning and entertaining friends were things she enjoyed tremendously.

Her work ethic followed her into her 80s; she continued to work in various stores in Ogallala, where she made many friends and enjoyed dressing up to go to work. Later in life, she and her sister Maybelle took many cruises, including a trip through the Panama Canal when they were both over 80.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; sons, Leslie and John; and her four sisters, Genevieve, Dolores, Maybelle, and Marie. She leaves many cherished memories with her children, Genie (Gaylord) Bishop and Debbie (Rick) Tatum; Daughter-in-laws, Karen and Darlene Potts; Grandchildren, Regina Carlini, Sean, Seth, and Dustin Potts, Jared (Missy) Potts, Jennifer (Joe) Tatum, Chad (Steph) Miller, Leah (Charlie) Wescoat, Jayson (Deanne) Bishop, Aaron (Jesse) Bishop, and Tara (Drew) and Kylie Croup; and 29 greatly loved great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Western Sky Community Care Center. Condolences may be shared at bullocklongfuneralhomecom, where the services will be streamed live.

Royce Potts (1926-2023)

Vern Edward Harris, age 89, of Dickens, NE passed away on July 30, 2023 at his home.

&nbsp;Vern was born on March 10, 1934 to Blanche (Lacy) and Harvey Harris at the family farmstead south of Dickens, Nebraska. He was the youngest of four children. He shared some wonderful qualities gifted from both parents. From Blanche, compassion and caring, and from Harvey, humor, wit, and storytelling.

He was endeared by many. He was a father, a friend, and a good neighbor. He was always ready and willing to lend a hand whenever needed. He always made sure the firefighting rig was ready to go, the schoolhouse had heat, and the vehicles were up to snuff. He could do about anything. He was a carpenter, mechanic, electrician, and anything else that was required to get the job done on the farm. He was always there to help out at the church, alongside Ann. He was also the 24-7 on-call maintenance man for all the widows in the community. &nbsp;

The infamous blizzard of '49 proved to be a fateful event. Vern was attending an agricultural high school in Curtis, Nebraska and was home for Christmas when the blizzard came and shut down everything. Unable to get back to school, his pal Pat Aylward suggested he join him at Wallace high school where he met the love of his life, Ann. They would date seven long years before tying the knot because he wanted to be sure he was financially ready to raise a family.

Vern worked long days to build up his farm and ranch, and provided for the family as each of the kids came along. &nbsp;First Scott, then Diana, and lastly by special request of the siblings, youngest sister Melinda.

While in his 40's, after years of dreaming, reading all of Horace Fitch’s aviation magazines and having just sold his calf crop for a good price he drove to Trego Aviation to start his lifelong dream of becoming a pilot, building a landing strip North of Dickens and purchasing an airplane, telling the bank it was practical for checking cattle, tanks and pivots. He very much enjoyed those years flying anywhere he could think Ann and he might like to go. He also loved talking to Gary Trego for hours about flying.

Vern and Ann enjoyed a decade of winters in Arizona reconnecting with high school classmates. Ann called their humble Arizona abode her "dollhouse".

He hauled his last load of corn to the feedlot the Monday before he passed, despite his weakened state and immense pain. &nbsp;He was a man of fortitude and perseverance. If there was work to be done, it must be done!

He is survived by his son Scott (Deborah) Harris of Dickens; daughters Diana (Gerry) Phelps of North Platte and Melinda Harris of Rapid City, SD; six grandchildren, Dan (Lannae) Phelps, Brent (Jessica) Phelps, Tiffany (Ben) Volden, Ashton Harris, Brooke (Charbel) Yubaile and Shanice (Ali) Harris Nooraei. &nbsp;Seven great grandchildren Matthew, Olivia, Oliver, Isabel and Grace Phelps, Elizabeth Volden and Javier Yubaile. &nbsp; He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Nora Ann Harris, brother Robert Harris, Sisters Ruth Baker Blomstedt and Zola Ray Mehichar.

 </figure>Vern Edward Harris, age 89, of Dickens, NE passed away on July 30, 2023 at his home.&nbsp;Vern was born on March 10, 1934 to Blanche (Lacy) and Harvey Harris at the family farmstead south of Dickens, Nebraska. He was the youngest of four children. He shared some wonderful qualities gifted from both parents. From Blanche, compassion and caring, and from Harvey, humor, wit, and storytelling.He was endeared by many. He was a father, a friend, and a good neighbor. He was always ready and willing to lend a hand whenever needed. He always made sure the firefighting rig was ready to go, the schoolhouse had heat, and the vehicles were up to snuff. He could do about anything. He was a carpenter, mechanic, electrician, and anything else that was required to get the job done on the farm. He was always there to help out at the church, alongside Ann. He was also the 24-7 on-call maintenance man for all the widows in the community. &nbsp;The infamous blizzard of '49 proved to be a fateful event. Vern was attending an agricultural high school in Curtis, Nebraska and was home for Christmas when the blizzard came and shut down everything. Unable to get back to school, his pal Pat Aylward suggested he join him at Wallace high school where he met the love of his life, Ann. They would date seven long years before tying the knot because he wanted to be sure he was financially ready to raise a family.Vern worked long days to build up his farm and ranch, and provided for the family as each of the kids came along. &nbsp;First Scott, then Diana, and lastly by special request of the siblings, youngest sister Melinda.While in his 40's, after years of dreaming, reading all of Horace Fitch’s aviation magazines and having just sold his calf crop for a good price he drove to Trego Aviation to start his lifelong dream of becoming a pilot, building a landing strip North of Dickens and purchasing an airplane, telling the bank it was practical for checking cattle, tanks and pivots. He very much enjoyed those years flying anywhere he could think Ann and he might like to go. He also loved talking to Gary Trego for hours about flying.Vern and Ann enjoyed a decade of winters in Arizona reconnecting with high school classmates. Ann called their humble Arizona abode her "dollhouse".He hauled his last load of corn to the feedlot the Monday before he passed, despite his weakened state and immense pain. &nbsp;He was a man of fortitude and perseverance. Vern E. Harris (1934-2023)

&nbsp; On a bright sunny Southern California day, April 11, 1948, at Queen of Angels Hospital, Los Angeles, California, Catharine Rose Reed was born. Her parents Tom &amp; Lucy were elated &amp; all smiles to have a little girl, as her two older brothers Vee &amp; Jay patiently waited to meet their new sister. After going home and getting all settled in with their new baby, Tom &amp; Lucy decided to set up roots in Long Beach, California &amp; grow the family. In the oncoming years Cathy welcomed a sister Vicki, brother John, &amp; little brother Bill. Cathy’s youth was filled with activities: ballroom dancing, ballet, &amp; the piano. Most of all, her favorite activities were playing with friends &amp; going to the beach. Cathy grew up only a few minutes from the beautiful sandy beaches of Southern California. Whenever she would talk about Seal Beach a smile would come to her face. During the high school years attending Lakewood High School was the 60’s full of expression, freedom, war, &amp; the Beach Boys. Cathy loved to dress the part right down to the bouffant flip hairdo. One of the most fun things that she talked about was to go cruising up &amp; down the Boulevard with Wolfman Jack spinning songs on the am radio. After graduation from Lakewood High School in June of 1966 with a class of one thousand one hundred twelve kids the day was bustling with activities. Here summer was full of friends, cruising the boulevard &amp; starting Cosmetology School. In the Fall of 1966 Cathy &amp; her sister Vicki was cruising around in her dad’s car. Cathy like to take her dad’s car for one specific reason, it had a sticker permit on it to get access to the United States Naval base, which gave her access to go flirt with the military boys. On this particular day going through the gate there was a handsome young Marine with sparkling blue eyes &amp; a big smile that captured her heart for the rest of her life. His name was Royce Bernard. After a winter long courtship Cathy &amp; Royce decided to get married. On Sunday, April 30th, 1967, at 3pm she said I do to the love of her life &amp; the journey began. After their marriage they moved to Royce’s family farm South of Enders, Nebraska. Cathy had not even visited Nebraska before she made this leap of faith. While getting settled in Nebraska, Cathy had a huge adjustment from living in one of the most populated places in the United States to living 20 miles from the closest town of Imperial, which population was smaller than her graduating class of 1112 people. There was extreme darkness with only the moon light along with the deafening silence of the Nebraska countryside. If that wasn’t enough of a challenge she had to learn to cook. Luckily Cathy’s mother-in-law, Mabel tucked her under her wing to help navigate this new lifestyle. Over the years Cathy became one of the most wonderful cooks there was. Over the next four years of moving to Nebraska her family was established. Her first born was Tommy in 1967, Becky in 1969, &amp; Missy in 1970. The family was a close-knit group with farming, ranching, &amp; lots of 4H activities which was enjoyed most of the time with extended family. The weeks &amp; weekends was filled with farming, working cattle, putting up hay, taking care of the crops &amp; working in the garden along with helping neighbors with the same activities. What Cathy enjoyed most was helping cook a big feast for the hungry crew to come in and enjoy while the work was being done. In the early 80’s Royce &amp; Cathy decided to move the family into the town of Imperial. Royce made a career change to owning his own truck &amp; starting R&amp;C Transportation. With Royce being gone most of the month Cathy used this time to expand her Avon business to most of the community. She loved to go to all the customers &amp; visit to pass the time to fill the void of Royce out on the road. When Cathy wasn’t busy with her Avon her joy was to go here and there to the Grandkids events to cheer them on. If she was home, you could find her in the garden tending the numerous vegetables or planting beautiful flowers. After Royce’s death in August 2018 Cathy needed to keep occupied and started to work at Dollar General, which she absolutely loved. She not only took pride in the store; she was able to stay connected to the community of Chase County and people of Imperial. Not only did she care for each and every person, they all loved her back. On June 3, 2023, Cathy left this Earth, and her soul went to be with the handsome, blue-eyed, smiling Marine that she fell in love with 56 years ago on a warm Fall Day in Southern California. God, please make your face shine on them as they are together for eternity at your side loving each other every day. Cathy’s death was proceeded by husband Royce, father Tom, Mother Lucy, brother Vee, brother Jay, Father-in-Law George, Mother-in-Law Mabel, Sisters-in-Law Lois Ann and Janet Knight, Brother-in-Law Arlyn Cox, &amp; Brother-in-Law Dale Likins. Catherine R Bernard (1948-2023)

Marilyn Ann Kluthe, age 70, of North Platte, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 28, 2023 at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha. She was born on May 23, 1953 in West Point, NE to Ralph and Elsie (Specht) Bayer.

Marilyn graduated from Howells High School in 1971. &nbsp;On May 25, 1974, she married Michael Kluthe, whom she had known since she was 6, in Howells. &nbsp;The couple lived in Norfolk for a time before moving to North Platte, where they have resided since.

Marilyn will be remembered as doing everything in excellence. &nbsp;She was a prayer warrior, praying for everyone around her. &nbsp;She was devoted to her Bible and spread her faith to anybody she could. &nbsp;She loved everyone, regardless of who you were. &nbsp;She was a mother figure to many kids who came through the home, many calling her “mom and grandma”. &nbsp;The center of her life would always be her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Marilyn Ann Kluthe (1953-2023)

&nbsp; EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. — Craig D. Kitt of East Hampton died Nov. 28, 2022, in Southampton. Craig was born Aug. 3, 1951, in Imperial, Neb., to Paul W. and Elnora (Cushing) Kitt, the oldest of three children. He was raised on the Dundy County family farm south of Wauneta, the hometown where he attended elementary school and graduated from Wauneta High School in 1969. Craig was a lifelong pianist. In high school and college, he studied under Joyce Hershberger and Audun Ravnan. After earning his degree in music from the University of Nebraska, Craig moved to New York City, where he was company pianist for the Dance Theater of Harlem. Other career roles included grant writer for NOW Legal Defense &amp; Education Fund and The Floating Hospital, NYC. In 1986, he moved to East Hampton where he was director of Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, and then organist at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Amagansett, N.Y. Craig’s lifelong ministry as a church musician began when he started playing piano at Mount Zion Methodist church worship services as a young teenager. He served many congregations as church pianist/organist/choir director during his life. In addition, he taught, encouraged, mentored, and supported youth musicians learning to offer their talents in sacred and secular settings. Craig performed many solo piano recitals in Nebraska and New York throughout his life. He played for, often organizing and planning, community ensemble performances, community theater productions, memorial and benefit concerts, including a benefit concert in 2009 for the renovated and reopened Fox Theatre in McCook, Neb. In retirement years, Craig helped local elders by driving them to medical appointments and grocery shopping, even during the Covid pandemic. He also enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, and playing the piano daily, of course. Craig was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kent Kitt. On Dec. 7, 2022, his partner of 35 years died, Kenneth Miller of East Hampton. Craig is survived by sister, Paula Kitt of Lenexa Kan.; nephew, Ryan (Meghan) Busking of Houston, Texas; great-nephews, Bowen and Weston Busking; aunt/uncle, Joyce and Erwin Cushing of Stratton, Neb.; many cousins and friends. Nancy Gordon, 57, of Sidney passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in Sidney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father C.P. Varghese officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Dalton.

Memorials in Nancy’s name can be made to “Be Here Sidney” a nonprofit raising suicide awareness in the Sidney area.

Nancy Ellen (Johnston) Gordon was born May 20, 1966 in Sidney to Frederick and Helen (King) Johnston.&nbsp; She attended school in Sidney, graduating from St. Patrick’s High School in 1984.&nbsp;

Nancy was blessed with two boys:&nbsp; Derek and Nate.&nbsp; She was united in marriage to William “Bill” Gordon on November 27, 1991 in Sidney and gained a son, Kyle.&nbsp; Later, Brody was born to the union.&nbsp;

She was proud of her work as a paraeducator at West Elementary and volunteered countless hours to the Rummage House.&nbsp; She enjoyed calligraphy and gardening.&nbsp;

Nancy is survived by her husband, Bill of Sidney, sons, Derek Adams, Nate and his wife, Brenna Adams, of Gurley, Kyle Gordon of Sidney, and Brody Gordon of Sidney; grandchildren, Avery, Auggie, and Atleigh Adams; siblings, Jenifer Wamsley of Sidney, Fred and wife, Cindy Johnston of Bear, Delaware, Mary and husband Mark White of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and Teresa Gill of Virginia; sister-in-law Cheryl and husband, Bob Orosco of Phoenix, Arizona; and special friends Teri and Blanca.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, Janet Johnston, Bill’s parents, Maurice and Eleanor Gordon, brother-in-law, Jim Pohl and sister-in-law, Debbie Grothe.
